Introduction: In the context of international migration, an increasing number of women from countries that traditionally practice FGC have immigrated to Canada (Perron et al., 2013). Given these demographic shifts, it is necessary to provide appropriate reproductive care to newcomer women who have undergone FGC, and to do this it is important to understand women’s perceived childbirth experiences Methods: The purpose of this study was to explore how Somali women who have undergone FGC perceive their experiences with childbirth and their interaction with obstetrician care providers in British Columbia. The study used qualitative method of focus group interviews. Results: Thematic analysis was conducted and 5 main themes were identified, including: preference for a natural birth; health care provider interaction; clinical care for FGC including vaginal examinations, de-infibulation, re-infibulation; desire for greater decision making capacity and differences in biomedical and Somali cultural practices. Discussion: The results show that there still remain largely unmet needs regarding appropriate clinical care for FGC and provider-patient interaction. In particular, there is tension between Somali women’s preference for a natural birth and perceived extra interventions by obstetricians. Furthermore, the Somali women reported dissatisfaction with aspects of the clinical management of FGC during delivery, particularly the timing of de-infibulation. Improving patient-provider communication and addressing issues of power-asymmetry could mitigate tensions, improve trust and reduce dissatisfaction experienced by Somali women during the childbirth experience.&nbsp

In the present made world, dependably, individuals around the planet grant through different stages on the Web. It has been addressed, about 71% of by and large online customers read online surveys going before buying a thing. Thing considers, particularly the early surveys (i.e., the investigations posted at the beginning time of a thing), astoundingly impact coming about thing deals. We call the clients who posted the early examinations as "early investigators". Be that as it may, early specialists contribute just a little level of surveys, their feelings can pick the achievement or disappointment of new things and associations. It is immense for relationship to perceive early spectators since their responses can assist relationship with changing publicizing frameworks and improve thing plans, which can at last incite the accomplishment of their new things. And in dependably, a mass extent of unstructured information is made. This information is as text, which is accumulated from get-togethers, online media regions, surveys. Such information is named as gigantic information. Client feelings are identified with a wide degree of spotlights like on express things also. These investigations can be mined utilizing different movements and are of everything considered significance to make checks since they unmistakably pass on the perspective of the bigger part. Online outlines moreover have become a basic wellspring of data for clients going before settling on an educated buy choice. Early examiner's appraisals and their got strength scores are apparently going to influence thing notoriety. The test is to assemble all the audits, in like way find and investigate the assessments, to locate something refined, that scores high evaluating

Angiotensin converting enzyme (ACE)-inhibitors are effective in patients with mild to moderately severe hypertension, collagen vascular and cardiovascular disease. They are also used in the prevention and treatment of myocardial infarction and in the management of cardiac arrhythmias. Patients with cardiovascular diseases are generally on multiple medicines that’s why it is imperative to study drug–drug interactions of medicines which are commonly taken together in any given case, as combined administration of different medicines can significantly influence the availability of drugs. In the present study we investigated the “in vitro” interactions of ACE inhibitors (enalapril, captopril and lisinopril) with frequently prescribed and co-administered drugs in simulated human body environments. These interactions were monitored by means of UV spectrophotometry and separation technique as RP-HPLC. Prior to start of actual drug interactions, the method of analysis of each drug was established and its various parameters validated for considering its use in testing of drug in vitro as well as in human serum. For this purpose, an attempt was made to develop a number of new HPLC methods for determination of ACE inhibitors (enalapril, captopril and lisinopril) and simultaneously with interacting drugs. These methods were optimized, validated and then successfully employed for the quantitation of enalapril, captopril and lisinopril and selected drugs in interactions studies. As a result, new methods for the quantitation of individual as well as multiple drugs were developed. The interacting drugs selected were antidiabetic drugs (metformin, glibenclamide, glimepride and pioglitazone. Interaction consequences revealed that the availability of enalapril was not affected in presence of antidiabetic drugss whereas the availability of captopril and lisinopril were altered in presence of NIDDMs

Objective: Skin is the primary layer of human body which act as protective barrier against exogenous chemicals, UV radiations as well as microorganisms. Maintaining the skin morphology under regular environmental stresses and controlling age related skin changes is one of the biggest challenges for modern science, pharmaceutical and cosmetics industry. These environmental stresses, such as excessive exposure to UV radiations, can even lead to the devastating skin disorders such as skin cancer. Dates seed has capability to protect skin against the damages caused by solar radiations, which mostly appear in the forms of wrinkles and some other skin related issues. Methods: Therefore, current research is focused on to analyze sun protection factor (SPF) of two non-polar fractions obtained from crushed seeds of three different varieties of i.e., Ajwa, Aseel and Khapra. Results: Results indicate that the highest value of SPF was found in AEA i.e., 15.061 at 200ppm while no difference was observed in the SPF values of KPPE. Conclusion: Hence, it could be concluded that the ethyl acetate fraction of all date seed varieties could be potential Ajwa, Aseel and Khapra could be a promising source of cosmetic and pharmaceutical preparations due to the potential SPF value except petroleum ether of Khapra extract
