    DIFFERENCES AND RELATIONSHIPS ON SELF-EFFICIENCY AND DISCIPLINE CHARACTER OF HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS

    Currently, students' self-efficacy and discipline are very important, especially at the high school level to help students improve their learning abilities. This study aims to answer the research question, namely how the results of descriptive statistics on self-efficacy variables and the disciplinary character of high school students in physics subjects. Are there differences and relationships between self-efficacy and the disciplinary character of physics high school students? The method used in this study is a mixed method. The research results are based on the t test which states that the comparative data is smaller than 0.05 and the correlation test which states the data results are smaller than 0.05. The conclusion of this study is the difference and relationship between self-efficacy and character discipline of students at Senior high school 5 Jambi City and Alberta High School Diploma in physics subjects. The update of this research is that knowing the relationship between self-efficacy and disciplinary character can be used as a source of good research in the future and for teachers and schools at the high school level. This research is limited by high school level and physics subjects

    Differences and Relationship Between Attitudes and Self Efficacy of Female and Male Students in Science Subjects in Junior High School

    Students' attitudes and self-efficacy are very important in science subjects. With a good attitude and self-efficacy, learning will be easier and more enjoyable. This study aims to examine the attitudes and self-efficacy of female and male students from two classes, namely VII A and VII B in junior high school. This research is a type of quantitative survey research. The sampling technique used in this study was simple random sampling with the research subjects as many as 74 junior high school students studying science. The instrument used in data collection was 28 questions containing 5 choices that must be filled out by students. Analysis of the data used in this study in the form of descriptive analysis and T test and correlation test to determine whether there is a comparison and relationship between students' attitudes and efficacy towards science. The results obtained indicate that there are significant differences and relationships between attitudes and self-efficacy of female and male students. These results indicate that male students have an average attitude and good self-efficacy compared to female students at the junior high school leve

    Abstract: Associative and Comparative Study on Students’ Perseverance and Religious in Islamic Education Subject. Objective: This study aims to understand the differences and the relationship among student perseverance and student religious in Islamic religious education subjects at MTs 1 Bengkulu City and MTs 1 Jambi City. Methods: This research uses quantitative methods with associative and comparative research types. Findings: The results of the T with a value of sig. (2-tailed 0.05 and the result of correlation test between students’ perseverance and religious students in Islamic religious education subjects obtained the result of the correlation test with the value of sig. Tujuan: Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan dan hubungan antara ketekunan siswa dan religius siswa pada mata pelajaran pendidikan agama islam di MTs 1 Kota Bengkulu dan MTs 1 Kota jambi. Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian asosiatif dan komparatif. Temuan: Diperoleh hasil dari uji T yaitu nilai sig.(2-tailed 0.05 dan uji korelasi ketekunan siswa dan religius siswa pada mata pelajaran pendidikan agama islam diperoleh, hasil dari uji korelasi yaitu nilai sig.(2-tailed) 0,05.     INTERPERSONAL COMMUNICATION SKILLS ON STUDENT DISCIPLINE: ANALYSIS OF THE EFFECTS OF ISLAMIC RELIGIOUS LEARNING

    The urgency of the research is that teachers can improve students’ interpersonal communication skills, which can affect student discipline in learning, so that their learning outcomes can be increased during the pandemic. The purpose of the study was to determine differences in teacher interpersonal communication skills and to determine student learning discipline distinctions in each school in Islamic education lessons, as well as the effect of teacher interpersonal communication skills on students' discipline during the COVID-19 pandemic at SMPN 20 Jambi City and SMPN 20 Bengkulu. The type of research is mixed methods with an explanatory design. The total number of samples was 72 active students with random sampling data collection techniques and data analysis techniques using descriptive and inferential statistics. The result of the T-test showed significant differences in teachers' interpersonal communication skills and distinctions in students’ learning disciplines in each school. Meanwhile, the regression test result indicated a significant influence of teacher interpersonal communication on student learning discipline in Islamic education lessons during the COVID-19 pandemic. Abstrak: Urgensi penelitian adalah guru dapat meningkatkan kemampuan komunikasi interpersonal kepada siswa yang dapat mempengaruhi kedisiplinannya dalam belajar, sehingga hasil belajarnya dapat meningkat di masa pandemi. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui perbedaan keterampilan komunikasi interpersonal guru dan untuk mengetahui perbedaan disiplin belajar siswa pada masing-masing sekolah pada pelajaran pendidikan agama islam, serta untuk mengetahui pengaruh keterampilan komunikasi interpersonal guru terhadap disiplin siswa pada masa pandemi COVID-19 di SMPN 20 Jambi city dan SMPN 20 Bengkulu. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah mix method research dengan explanatory design. Jumlah sampel 72 siswa aktif dengan teknik pengumpulan data random sampling dan teknik analisis data menggunakan statistik deskriptif dan inferensial. Hasil Uji-t menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan keterampilan komunikasi interpersonal guru di masing-masing sekolah serta disiplin belajar siswa, terdapat perbedaan di setiap sekolah. Hasil uji regresi menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara komunikasi interpersonal guru terhadap disiplin belajar siswa pada pembelajaran pendidikan agama islam masa pandemi covid-19. &nbsp

    Abstract: Evaluation of Students’ Attitudes and Science Process Skills toward Middle School Science Subject in Indonesia. Objective: This research aims to determine the differences and the relationship between attitudes and science process skills in science learning in Batanghari Regency, namely Junior High School 34 Batanghari and Junior High School 35 Batanghari. Method: Quantitative method with associative and comparative type. The instrument in this study used a questionnaire for attitudes and an observation sheet for science process skills. Quantitative data analysis technique used random sampling with 140 students as respondents. Findings: Based on the t-test obtained sig.(2-tailed) 0.048, 0.047, 0.039, 0.038 0.05, so there are differences in students’ attitudes and science process skills. From the correlation test obtained sig. (2-tailed) of 0.035 and 0.037 0.05 which indicated the relationship between attitudes and science process skills. Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan dan hubungan antara sikap dan keterampilan proses sains dalam pembelajaran IPA di Kabupaten Batanghari yaitu SMP 34 Batanghari dan SMP 35 Batanghari. Metode: Metode kuantitatif dengan tipe asosiatif dan komparatif. Instrumen dalam penelitian ini menggunakan angket untuk sikap dan lembar observasi untuk keterampilan proses sains. Teknik analisis data kuantitatif menggunakan random sampling dengan responden sebanyak 140 siswa. Temuan: Berdasarkan uji-t diperoleh sig.(2-tailed) 0,048, 0,047, 0,039, 0,038 0,05 yang mengindikasikan suatu antara hubungan sikap dan keterampilan proses sains siswa. Dari uji korelasi diperoleh sig. (2-tailed) sebesar 0,035 dan 0,037 0,05, ada hubungan antara sikap dengan keterampilan proses sains.     Model Discovery Learning merupakan model pembelajaran yang dapat menekankan proses pembelajaran yang berpusat pada peserta didik dan pengalaman belajar secara aktif. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran discovery learning terhadap keterampilan proses sains siswa pada mata pelajaran fisika di SMAN 10 Kota Jambi. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuntittatif dengan jenis kooperatif. Hasil dari penelitian ini yaitu model pembelajaran yang baik dapat meningkatkan keterampilan proses sains siswa dalam pembelajaran terutama pembelajaran fisika. Berdasarkan hasil uji didapatkan bahwa model pembelajaran discovery learning berpengaruh terhadap keterampilan proses sains siswa pada mata pelajaran fisika di SMAN 10 Kota Jambi

    To be able to understand a mathematical problem and be able to express thoughts and arguments, and provide solutions to a problem, students need to have persistent character and mathematical processing skills. This study aims to find out whether there is a comparison of persistent character and mathematical processing skills at SDN 35 Batanghari, SDN 64 Muara Bulian, MIN 3 Batanghari, MIN 2 Batanghari in mathematics and to find out whether there is an influence between persistent character and mathematical processing skills at SDN 35 Batanghari, SDN 64 Muara Bulian, MIN 3 Batanghari, MIN 2 Batanghari in mathematics. The research method used is mixed methods with a sequential explanatory research design. The instrument in this study used character persistence questionnaires and mathematical processing skills. The t-test results obtained from the table show that there is a relationship between the persistence character variable and students' mathematical processing abilities in the subject matter of mathematical fractional computation operations. From the results of the regression test obtained from the table, it can be seen that there is an influence between the sign tenacity variables and the students' mathematical processing abilities in the subject matter of mathematics in fractional computation operations. This research can be used as a reference to pay more attention to student learning persistence because persistence has a significant effect on students' mathematical processing skills at the elementary level. Thus, the researcher hopes that further research can observe the comparison and influence of persistence with mathematical processing skills in other materials

    Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis model pembelajaran inkuiri terhadap sikap dan kepribadian peserta didik. Penelitian ini merupakan studi literatur yang mengkaji penerapan aksi reaksi model pembelajaran inkuiri dalam upaya meningkatkan sikap dan karakter peserta didik melalui studi literatur. Penelitian studi pustaka ini didasarkan pada artikel ilmiah, jurnal, dan dokumen penelitian yang relevan dengan penelitian ini. Implementasi model pembelajaran inkuiri aksi-reaksi menjadi fokus penelitian ini. Menurut temuan kajian pustaka, aksi dan reaksi model pembelajaran inkuiri yang telah diterapkan belum sepenuhnya memenuhi tuntutan kurikulum 2013. Hal ini terlihat pada penelitian terdahulu bahwa aksi reaksi model pembelajaran inkuiri belum mengakomodasi perbaikan sikap dan karakter peserta didik. Oleh karena itu, perlu dilakukan sebuah pengembangan terhadap aksi reaksi model pembelajaran inkuiri untuk meningkatkan sikap dan karakter peserta didik

    This study tested a sample of 70 students with variables of interest, cooperation skills and responses in the math game of congklak from two schools, namely SD IT Aulia and SDN 112/I Perumnas.
