DETERMINANT OF PROFITABILITY AND ITS IMPACT ON FIRM VALUE: EVIDENCE FROM INDONESIA STOCK EXCHANGE

Firm value is experiencing a downward trend is a problem that must be resolved. It is not firm’s main objective of maximizing shareholder wealth. This study aimed to analyze the effect of the debt to equity (DER), sales growth (SG), current ratio (CR), and total asset turnover (TATO) to the price to book value (PBV) with return on equity (ROE) as a variable intervening. Population in this research using manufacturing companies in Indonesia Stock Exchange in the period 2010-2015. Sampling technique used is purposive sampling with 34 companies selected according to predetermined criteria. The analysis technique used is the analysis using SPSS program, which previous research data has passed the test classic assumptions. The first regression model showed that the DER has a negative effect on ROE and significantly affect ROE. Sales Growth and TATO has a significant and positive effect on ROE. Meanwhile, CR does not have an impact on ROE. The second model shows that ROE has a significant and positive effect on the level of 5% on PBV.CR significant and positive effect on the level of 10% on PBV. Meanwhile, SG, TATO, and DER does not have effect on PBV, the study also showed that the ROE mediating influence between SG and TATO on PBV

ANALISIS FAKTOR-FAKTOR YANG MEMPENGARUHI KEBIJAKAN HUTANG PERUSAHAAN (Studi pada Perusahaan Manufaktur yang Terdaftar di BEI Tahun 2009-2013)

Funding decisions a company to fund its operations, must be in accordance with the main objectives of the company. The funding decision was able to minimize the risks and costs that the company's main goal is reached. To achieve the goal, the company must have an optimal capital structure. The many factors affecting capital structure or debt policy, the study aims to analyze the factors that influence the policy of the company's debts. The independent variable of this study consisted of liquidity (CR), sales growth (SG), company size (SIZE), profitability (ROA), institutional ownership (INST), and managerial ownership (MOWN). Meanwhile, the dependent variable is the Debt to Equity Ratio or DER. Object of this research is manufacturing companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2009 until 2013. The sample used in this study were 8 manufacturing company. The sampling method is done by using purposive sampling. Analysis of data using multiple linear regression analysis, which is preceded by the classical assumption, consisting of normality test, multicollinearity, autocorrelation, and heteroscedasticity test. Hypothesis testing is done by using the F test and t-test. The results of this study indicate that liquidity, sales growth, firm size, profitability, institutional ownership, and managerial ownership together influence the company’s debt policy. While, in partial, liquidity (CR) and profitability (ROA) significant negative effect on the DER. Variable institutional ownership (INST) and managerial ownership (MOWN) did not significant negative effect on the DER. While, firm size (SIZE) and sales growth (SG) had no significant positive effect on the DER. The degree of determination (Adjusted R Square) is 0,457. This means that the independent variable (CR, ROA, SIZE, Sales Growth, INST, and MOWN) can explain the dependent variable (DER) by 45.7%. While, the remaining 54.3% is explained by other variables outside the model study

CITRA MEREK PRODUK SMARTPHONE XIAOMI PADA MAHASISWA DI KOTA MAKASSAR

Abstract           Brand Image is one of the consumer's decisions including students to use a Xiaomi smartphone product. This study aims to determine the Xiaomi Smartphone Product Brand Image for Students in Makassar City. This research is a qualitative research with a qualitative descriptive analysis approach that uses informants as many as 11 students with status on several campuses in Makassar City. Data in this study were collected through Library Research Techniques and Field Research by means of interviews and Observations. From the results of this study it can be concluded that Xiaomi smartphone products are products that students are interested in for their own needs and desires, and with the quality and differentiation that Xiaomi smartphone products can make power to form a positive brand image from users in this case students. Keywords : Brand Image, Product and Smartphone     Abstrak Citra Merek merupakan salah satu keputusan konsumen termasuk mahasiswa untuk menggunakan sebuah produk smartphone Xiaomi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Citra Merek Produk Smartphone Xiaomi pada Mahasiswa di Kota Makassar. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan analisis deskriptif kualitatif yang menggunakan informan sebanyak 11 orang berstatus mahasiswa pada beberapa kampus di Kota Makassar. Data dalam penelitian ini dikumpulkan melalui Teknik Penelitian Pustaka (Library Research) dan Penelitian Lapangan (Field Research) dengan cara wawancara dan Observasi. Dari hasil penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa produk smartphone Xiaomi merupakan produk yang diminati oleh mahasiswa atas kebutuhan dan keinginan sendiri, serta dengan adanya kualitas dan pembeda yang dimiliki produk smartphone Xiaomi dapat menjadikan kekuatan hingga terbentuk citra merek yang positif dari pengguna dalam hal ini mahasiswa.   Kata Kunci : Citra Merek, Produk dan Smartphon

ANALISA SENTIMEN TERHADAP REVIEW PRODUK KECANTIKAN MENGGUNAKAN METODE NAIVE BAYES CLASSIFIER

Saat ini produk kosmetik sudah menjadi kebutuhan utama kaum wanita yang merupakan target dari segi jenis maupun brand sebuah kosmetik. Namun tidak semua kosmetik memiliki kualitas yang baik sesuai dengan kebutuhan konsumen, maka dari itu agar tidak salah memilih produk, disediakan website yang berbentuk opini yang sudah mencoba produk tersebut, dan agar tidak memakan waktu lama untuk melihat review dari berbagai opini yang ada di website, oleh karena itu analisis sentimen merupakan salah satu solusi mengatasi masalah untuk mengelompokkan opini atau review kosmetik dengan cara pengklasifikasian review tersebut menjadi opini positif atau negatif secara otomatis. Data review yang akan diuji merupakan emoticon dan kata sifat yang sudah diberi label secara manual. Dengan menggunakan metode Naïve Bayes memiliki kelebihan yaitu sederhana, cepat dan memiliki akurasi yang tinggi. Nilai akurasi yang dihasilkan akan menjadi tolak ukur untuk mencari model penguji yang terbaik untuk kasus klasifikasi sentimen. Dengan menggunakan RapidMiner diketahui bahwa 110 data negatif terklasifikasi 85 data dinyatakan negatif sesuai prediksi dan 25 data diprediksi positif tetapi hasilnya negatif, begitu juga 110 data positif terklasifikasi 92 sesuai prediksi dan 18 data diprediksi negatif tetapi hasilnya positif. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan nilai akurasi yang didapatkan sebesar 80.45%.

UTILIZATION OF ANDROID TECHNOLOGY AS AN ALTERNATIVE MEDIA INFORMATION SYSTEM FOR HYBRID-BASED SCHOOL EXAMS

The rapid development of information technology on smartphones supported by Android technology can make it easier for users to access all information anywhere and anytime. Currently, many educational institutions use Android as a learning tool and information media as well as various implementations of online student assessments. One of them is the use of CBT (Computer Based Test) facilities. SMK Ma'arif 1 Sendangagung is located in the countryside far from the city centre or district. Implementing student exams/assessments at these school are still manual using paper which has many shortcomings. For example, the leakage of questions in the preparation of exam questions, duplicating and distributing question texts, cheating during the exam, and needing a lot of time to scan answer sheets, require a lot of money, energy, and time. Therefore, an android-based exam application system is needed to make it easier for teachers and students to carry out school exams and semester assessments in a hybrid manner. This research aims to design an Android-based exam application system to make it easier for teachers and students to take grades on students. The use of this technology also aims to make Ma'arif 1 Sendangagung Vocational School more advanced with the application of Android technology. The stages of the research method are first data collection, second data analysis, third application design, and fourth result report.  The results of this study are an Android School Examination Application at Maarif 1 Sendangagung Vocational School. The application was built using Delphi EMBARCADERO, Android SDK (Software Development Kit), Android Developer Tools (ADT), and Android Operating System: Froyo 2.2 with Google API SDK 25.2.5, Java, XML. The Simulation Results Using Draw.Io Software Show That The Delay That Occurs In The Computer And Network Engineering Laboratory Is 30.4 Ms, The Accounting Laboratory Is 43.4 Ms And The General Laboratory Is 50.2 Ms. While The Entire Room Does Not Experience Packet Loss During The Simulation Process. The Throughput Results For TKJ-Laboratory Rooms Are 0.51 kbps, For Akuntansi-Laboratory Rooms Are 0.38 Kbps And for general Laboratory Rooms Are 0.37 kbps

Pengaruh Motivasi Belanja Hedonis Terhadap Pembelian Impulsif Pada Fitur Tiktok Shop Di Kota Makassar

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis pengaruh motivasi belanja hedonis terhadap pembelian impulsif pada fitur TikTok Shop di Kota Makassar. Populasi yang digunakan ialah penduduk Kota Makassar yang pernah berbelanja di TikTok Shop. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik non probability sampling dengan metode purposive sampling, dengan jumlah sampel 100 responden. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan menyebarkan kuesioner melalui google formulir yang telah diuji validitas dan reliabilitasnya. Alat analisis dalam penelitian ini adalah uji asumsi klasik, regresi linear sederhana, uji parsial (t), serta uji koefisien determinasi (R2) dengan menggunakan software SPSS Versi 26. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa variabel motivasi belanja hedonis secara parsial berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap pembelian impulsif pada fitur tiktok shop di kota makassar. The purpose of making these systems and applications to design and build Expert System for Watermelon Plant Growth Based Detection that uses certainty factor for use by farmers and the community to know the growth of watermelon plants without having to ask directly to expert experts, which can be said that the calculation of certainty factor on the characteristics of watermelon disease has a confidence level of 99.70%, because in this case Certainty Factor commonly used for decision making in the face of uncertainty of an event. This app is designed by beginning with SDLC and use case.

PENDAMPINGAN PENGINPUTAN DATA KELUARGA KEDALAM APLIKASI PRODESKEL PEKON SUMBER REJO KABUPATEN PRINGSEWU

Pengolahan data kependudukan di kantor-kantor daerah harus tertata dan terpelihara seakurat dan serapi mungkin. Hal ini sangat penting karena pendataan kependudukan yang akurat di Indonesia dimulai dari data desa yang akurat. Berdasarkan pengamatan yang dilakukan di kantor Pekon  Sumber Rejo, sistem pendataan kependudukan yang ada saat ini dilakukan secara manual yaitu melalui jurnal. Oleh karena itu, untuk memudahkan layanan dan penyajian informasi kepada masyarakat, maka dirasa perlu melakukan pendampingan penginputan data keluarga melalui aplikasi prodeskel pada Pekon Sumber Rejo Kabupaten Pringsewu. Kegiatan pendampingan ini menggunakan metode pelatihan, yaitu kegiatan yang dilakukan dengan beberapa tahap. Tahap persiapan, tahap pelaksanaan dan tahap terakhir evaluasi. Kegiatan pendampingan penginputan data keluarga kedalam Aplikasi prodeskel Pekon Sumber Rejo, Kecamatan Pagelaran, Kabupaten Pringsewu dilakukan sebagai bentuk kegiatan tridarma perguruan tinggi yaitu pengabdian kepada masyarakat. Kegiatan ini juga sebagai bagian dari dukungan terhadap upaya pemerintah untuk meningkatkan pelayanan administrasi kependudukan di pekon Sumber Rejo Kabupaten Pringsewu. pendampingan ini dibutuhkan oleh aparatur pekon, khususnya untuk meningkatkan pelayanan administrasi kependudukan pada Pekon Sumber Rejo. Hasil evaluasi memperlihatkan kegiatan berjalan dengan baik sesuai harapan terlihat dari antusiame aparatur pekon selama waktu pendampingan, terbukti dari keaktifan dan tanya jawab yang di lontarkan para audiens
