    Integrated competency-based assessment and certification in vocational high school in Indonesia

    The objective of this research is to find a model of Integrated Competency-Based Assessment (ICBA) and certification that is appropriate for implementation in Vocational High School (VHS). The model is a test of competence that is combined with a learning and assessment process. This study used research and development established by Gall et al. The results of this research found that the model of ICBA and certification was feasible for implementation in VHS. The model was created through the aspects of developing competency standards and competency-based training development in work practices. The competency standard was developed through setting standards of competence and suitability needed for the job. The development of vocational learning is achieved through the professionalism of the teacher, the development of learning resources and learning models, evaluation models, and the reporting of learning outcomes in the form of a skills passport. Developing a competency-based assessment was done in the context of the examination system by working on real jobs

    JAK2 V617F Analysis in Indonesian Myeloproliferative Neoplasms Patients

    Background : Three subtypes of myeloproliferative neoplasms (MPNs): Polycythemia vera (PV), essential thrombocythemia (ET), and primary myelofibrosis (PMF) showed overlapping phenotype. There has been no specific cytogenetic marker identified in these subtypes. JAK2 V617F mutation prevalence in Caucasian MPNs was first reported as 97% in PV, 57% in ET, and 50% in PMF.Objective: This study was done to define the prevalence of JAK2 V617F mutation and to identify cytogenetic markers in MPNs.Methods : The study design was cross-sectional. Patients who were admitted to Dr. Kariadi Hospital with clinical diagnosis of MPNs were referred for bone marrow cytogenetic analysis in Telogorejo Hospital. JAK2 V617F mutation was tested for using Amplification Refractory Mutation System Polymerase Chain Reaction (ARMS-PCR) from peripheral blood vein. Clinical data were secondary data retrieved from hospital medical records.Results : There was no cytogenetic abnormality found in all MPNs patients. The prevalence of JAK2 V617F mutation in MPNs patients was 73,68%. Mutation prevalence distribution in each subtypes were 100% in PV, 63,6% in ET and 100% in PMF. Conclusion : Chromosomal abnormality was not found using conventional cytogenetic analysis. More sensitive methods might elucidate submicroscopic chromosomal abnormalities in these patients. The prevalence of JAK2 V617F mutation was comparable with studies in Caucasian. It is recommended that JAK2 V617F testing should be incorporated in the management therapy of MPNs in Indonesia

    Great Mosque of Semarang attractions chosen because attraction is one of the attractions in the city of Semarang, who has the lowest number of visitors compared to the Great Mosque of Demak attraction but it has economic value. The purpose of this study was to determine whether the cost of a trip to the Grand Mosque of Semarang attractions, travel to other attractions (Demak), individual income, distance, time, age, amenities and beauty affect the number of requests to the attraction of the Great Mosque of Semarang, Semarang city, to analyze the effect of the cost of a trip to the Grand Mosque of Semarang attractions, travel to other attractions (Demak), individual income, distance, time employment, age and previous experience of visiting the attractions of the number of visits to the Great Mosque of Semarang. The analytical tool used in this study is multiple linear regression with the number of visits as the dependent variable and eight independent variables are variable cost of travel to the Grand Mosque of Semarang, the variable cost of a trip to the Grand Mosque of Demak, variable average individual income per month (Rp), variable trip length, variable time, variable life, variable and variable beauty facilities using OLS and Surplus Value to calculate the total economic value of the Great Mosque of Semarang object. The results showed five variables affect the total demand of tourism to the Grand Mosque of Semarang is the cost of travel to get to the Grand Mosque of Semarang, distance, time, facilities and beauty. Variable distance regression coefficient produced a value of 0.093, this means an increase in distance will result in the number of requests under the assumption that the cost of a trip to the Grand Mosque wiata object Semarang, the cost of trips to other attractions (Great Mosque of Demak), individual income, time, age and previous experience of visiting the objec fixed (constant). It was concluded that the higher the previous visit experience, the higher the number of requests to the attraction of the Great Mosque of Semarang. The existence of the experience of total travel demand Mosque of Semarang attraction because attraction and beauty facilities costs incurred to get to these attractions make the visitors who've come before and was satisfied would have the intention to re-visit it

    Evaluasi kekuatan konstruksi kapal katamaran pada jarak pisah (S/L) = 0.3 dilakukan dengan paket komersial Nastran yang berbasis metode elemen hingga. Model kapal diasumsikan menggunakan bahan baja ASTM A516-70. Dalam bidang kekuatan kapal, perlu memperhitungkan kekuatan memanjang suatu konstruksi kapal. Kapal Katamaran merupakan jenis kapal kecil dengan memiliki dua lambung sehingga perlu adanya perhatian khusus dalam analisa tegangan maksimal yang nantinya akan digunakan untuk perhitungan kekuatan suatu konstruksi kapal. Penaksiran umur kelelahan dalam tugas akhir ini menggunakan metode simplified dengan pembebanan gelombang dengan memvariasikan kondisi muatan. Pembebanan gelombang disimulasikan dengan bantuan software Nastran yang manghasilkan output berupa tegangan nominal yang digunakan sebagai inputan untuk menghitung cumulative fatigue damage. Cumulative fatigue damage yang didapat digunakan untuk menghitung umur kelelahan (fatigue life) dari tujuh lokasi detail struktur yang dianggap kritis. Analisis umur kelelahan dilakukan dengan menggunakan pendekatan Simplified (sederhana). Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa sambungan struktur yang paling kritis adalah sambungan antara side girder dan balok geladak dan daerah antara gading dan inner bottom, nilai fatigue terkecil 26.4 tahun dan tidak kurang dari kriteria design life yang disyaratkan yakni 25 tahun, maka struktur katamaran tersebut masih baik dari segi rancangan desain, namun harus dilakukan penguatan struktur di lokasi-lokasi tertentu yang dianggap kritis dan rawan terjadi kegagalan agar umur dari struktur tersebut dapat bertambah sehingga mampu menjalankan tugas operasinya hingga waktu yang cukup lama

As a Pioneer tourism village, the village of Donokerto requires qualified human resources for tourism services, especially as a tour guide. Therefore, the AMPTA Yogyakarta Tourism School in collaboration with PUM Netherlands Senior Experts held a community service with the theme "Guiding Training in Donokerto Village". This community service activity is carried out using role play and simulation methods, namely by trying to directly deal with tourists and service instructors providing evaluations. The recommendation from this service activity is to increase the ability of foreign languages and public speaking for the community as potential tour guide

    Magelang is a small town in Central Java which rich in cultural heritage, one of them is colonial buildings. In the early XIX century, Ko Som Ien was a landlord and Ko Kwat Ie was an owner of a cigar factory in Magelang. Their family residentials are exist until now and still keep their originality. This research paper aims to determine the effect of the colonial-style in Ko Som Ien and Ko Kwat Ie Family Residential's Interior at Magelang, using qualitative descriptive research method. The object of the research focused on aspects of the form in which the scope of the research are organization of space, interior structural elements, and transitional elements.     Berbagai masalah fisis dan geometri yang melibatkan dua fungsi atau lebih peubah bebas sangat berkaitan dengan persamaan diferensial. Salah satu analisis fisis tersebut dapat dinyatakan dalam bentuk persamaan diferensial. Ilmuwan matematika yang bernama George W. Hill dan Mathieu meneliti tentang getaran pada pendulum gantung yang bisa dimodelkan dalam bentuk persamaan diferensial Mathieu-Hill. Persamaan diferensial Mathieu-Hill adalah persamaan diferensial orde dua yang didalam fungsi tersebut terdapat fungsi periodik. Persamaan diferensial Mathieu-Hill dapat diselesaikan dengan menggunakan metode aljabar matriks. Pada tahun 2005 sudah diteliti tentang solusi dari persamaan diferensial Mathieu-Hill.
