With this article, we intend to present the theoretical and methodological framework of the work developed by Yves Clot.We will start by briefly situating the anchor points of his research and intervention proposals, as well as the goals he aims to reach. We can, then, state that the author, affiliated with the Russian school of psychology, has developed a group of studies with the purpose of identifying the relations established between subjectivity and work activity. His research studies start with real work situation analysis aimed at its transformation, which, assuming a historical and cultural perspective, implies understanding the developmental history of workers´ activities. In this intervention, the author tries to articulate the real and done, the individual and the collective, mobilizing methodologies that privilege the language mediation and of the others in order to (re)construct the professional rules valorised by its professionals. It is in the (re)construction of this professional genre that the workers encounter the difficulties that they must manage and respect, but it also becomes a resource for action itself. In Yves Clot´s perspective, this is the only way to guarantee the psychological function of work
How to position “amanhecer” and successfully communicate it to increase its market share?
This Work Project focuses on consumers’ behaviour towards convenience stores. Its main objectives are to understand how “Amanhecer” should position itself in the market and how it should be communicated. To address these objectives, first, secondary data was collected. Second, primary research was conducted, through in-store observations and in-depth interviews. Two main challenges were discovered: consumers’ distinct images of Amanhecer’s stores and the unclear positioning of the retailer in the market. To mitigate these challenges, “Amanhecer” should improve its brand identity and brand positioning, and adopt the recommendations made for the marketing and communications programs
This paper is centred in the paternal authority that supposed, in Spain, an obstacle to protect children and girls of the child abused that suffered. The speech is analyzed generated by jurists and socials reformers who coincided in denouncing the inability of the tribunals to pursue the abuses and they demanded, for this reason, the reformation of the civil Code and the penal Code. Cosmology with intensity mapping techniques using atomic and molecular lines
We present a systematic study of the intensity mapping technique using
updated models for the different emission lines from galaxies and identify
which ones are more promising for cosmological studies of the post reionization
epoch. We consider the emission of , , H,
optical and infrared oxygen lines, nitrogen lines, CII and the CO rotational
lines. We then identify that , , OII, CII and
the lowest rotational CO lines are the best candidates to be used as IM probes.
These lines form a complementary set of probes of the galaxies emission
spectra. We then use reasonable experimental setups from current, planned or
proposed experiments to access the detectability of the power spectrum of each
emission line. Intensity mapping of emission from to 3
will be possible in the near future with HETDEX, while far-infrared lines
require new dedicated experiments. We also show that the proposed SPHEREx
satellite can use OII and IM to study the large-scale
distribution of matter in intermediate redshifts of 1 to 4. We found that
submilimeter experiments with bolometers can have similar performances at
intermediate redshifts using CII and CO(3-2).Comment: 18 pages, 21 figures, 5 tables, published in MNRAS, typos correcte
The aim of the present research is to identify the levels of ambivalent sexism in a sample of adolescents, as well as their relationship with self-esteem. Nostalgic and Precarious: The Affective Power of Objects in Olga Ravn’s The Employees (2018)
Olga Ravn’s The Employees: A workplace novel of the 22nd century (2020 [2018]) is made up of statements by the employees - both human and humanoid - of the Six-Thousand Ship, detailing their interactions with the objects that have been brought on board to increase productivity. The cryptic objects, collected by the employees in nearby missions to the planet New Discovery, are described as being a mix between biological and technological and diffuse sounds and smells stimulative to the senses, “as if the objects only existed to awaken particular feelings ... by way of their form and material.” Set in the future, I argue The Employees ultimately mobilises longing for an irrecoverable past, and an impossible future, to criticise the inherently anxious work-focused, late-capitalist society of the twenty-first century. To do so, I will engage with affect theory to shed light on how Ravn’s novel conceptualises work. By considering affect as shared and political, I will connect it to nostalgia, an affect which I will be claiming also has a political dimension. It is through a nostalgic longing for a different reality that the employees will be confronted with their own alienation, as the unattainability of dreams of happiness (Sara Ahmed) and of the “good life” (Lauren Berlant) is exposed. The shattering of such illusions is what will ultimately lead the humanoid employees to revolt, while the humans remain attached to a doomed promise of the “good life”. In the end, I will show how the novel illustrates that a sense of precarity is not exclusive to those who are captive of a flexible, casualised labour market, but to everyone who must work to remain alive.
