    Binary open clusters in the Milky Way: photometric and spectroscopic analysis of NGC 5617 and Trumpler 22

    Using photometry and high resolution spectroscopy we investigate for the first time the physical connection between the open clusters NGC 5617 and Trumpler 22. Based on new CCD photometry we report their spatial proximity and common age of ~70 Myr. Based on high resolution spectra collected using the HERMES and UCLES spectrographs on the Anglo-Australian telescope, we present radial velocities and abundances for Fe, Na, Mg, Al, Si, Ca and Ni. The measured radial velocities are -38.63 +/-2.25 km/s for NGC 5617 and -38.46 +/-2.08 km/s for Trumpler 22. The mean metallicity of NGC 5617 was found to be [Fe/H] =-0.18 +/-0.02 and for Trumpler 22 was found to be [Fe/H] = -0.17 +/-0.04. The two clusters share similar abundances across the other elements, indicative of a common chemical enrichment history of these clusters. Together with common motions and ages we confirm that NGC 5617 and Trumpler 22 are a primordial binary cluster pair in the Milky Way.Comment: 7 pages, 3 figure, accepted by MNRA

    Evaluation of the combining ability of CMS lines in crosses with samples of grain sorghum and Sudan grass

Currently, the most promising direction of breeding is the creation of F1 sorghum hybrids, which is based on the identification and selection of parental forms with high combining ability. In this paper, the combining ability analysis crosses of two hybridization schemes: grain×grain sorghum and grain sorghum×Sudan grass was carried out using topcross method. Gene action governing inheritance of a particular trait can be measured in terms of general and specific combining ability estimates, where general combining ability effects are mostly indicative of additive gene action (ms (GCA)/ms (SCA)>1)and specific combining ability effects - non-additive (ms (GCA)/ms (SCA)<1). Genes with an additive effect participate in the genetic control of breeding-valuable traits, which is proven byms(GCA)/ms (SCA) ratios changing within1.10-28.01 range. It is advisable to involve CMS-lines A3 Feterita 14, A2 KVV 114 and A2 O-1237 to create high-yielding hybrids of grain sorghum; highly productive sorghum-sudangrasshybridss - lines L-106, L-143 and Anastasiya, Kinelskaya 100, Elegiya variety samples; with a high share of grain in the total biomass – Allegoriya, Krasnodarskaya 75 and Zonalskaya 6 variety samples. CMS lines are distinguished by high and average CA values both in crosses with samples of grain sorghum and Sudan grass: by weight of 1,000 grains - A2 O-1237; by seed yield and weight of 1,000 grains - A2 KVV 114

    POPULARIZATION OF SPIRITUAL AND MORAL EDUCATION OF STUDENTS USING SOCIAL AND CULTURAL ACTIVITY

    Este artículo analiza el enfoque regional para organizar las actividades del Instituto Estatal de Arte y Cultura de Belgorod, así como el centro regional de educación profesional adicional (Centro Espiritual y Educativo en nombre de Vera , Nadezhda, Lyubov y su madre Sophia (virtudes cristianas Fe, Esperanza y Caridad) para popularizar la educación espiritual y moral de los jóvenes estudiantes. La base experimental de la investigación fue el Centro Espiritual y Educativo en nombre de Vera, Nadezhda, Lyubov y su madre Sophia como una unidad estructural del Instituto Estatal de Arte y Cultura de Belgorod. Como resultado del estudio, los autores concluyen que, a pesar de que los jóvenes modernos no tienen pautas claras de vida, son propensos a las ideas occidentales sobre las actitudes de los consumidores hacia la existencia. También destacan la salud, la familia y la educación como los principales valores en la vida, y valoran en las personas, en primer lugar, la capacidad de respuesta, la amabilidad y el intelecto. Con el fin de popularizar las cualidades espirituales y morales de la juventud, hemos desarrollado el programa "Somos uno". El propósito del programa es la actualización, el apoyo y la implementación de procesos educativos relacionados con el trabajo efectivo en el entorno juvenil, la formación de individuos y ciudadanos capaces de realizarse dentro de la región, Rusia y a escala mundial; promoción del conocimiento humanitario y las tecnologías de formación cultural en el espacio cultural y educativo regional de la región de Belgorod, Rusia y el extranjero. Los autores del artículo se han desarrollado y fundamentado en el proceso de enfoques y recomendaciones de trabajo experimental que contribuyen a aumentar la efectividad de la educación espiritual y moral de los estudiantes. Esses materiais podem ser utilizados no processo de organização de atividades pedagógicas em instituições de ensino.This paper analyse the regional approach to organizing the activities of the Belgorod State Institute of Arts and Culture, as well as the regional centre for additional professional education (Spiritual and Educational Centre in the name of Vera, Nadezhda, Lyubov and their mother Sophia (Christian virtues Faith, Hope and Charity)) to popularize spiritual and moral education of student youth. The experimental base of the research was the Spiritual and Educational Centre in the name of Vera, Nadezhda, Lyubov and their mother Sophia as a structural unit of the Belgorod State Institute of Arts and Culture. As a result of the study, the authors conclude that, despite the fact that modern youth do not have clear life guidelines, they are prone to Western ideas of consumer attitudes toward existence. They also highlight health, family and education as the main values in life, and they value in people, first of all, responsiveness, kindness, and intellect. In order to popularize the spiritual and moral qualities of youth, we have developed the program "We are one." The purpose of the program is the actualization, support and implementation of educational processes related to effective work in the youth environment, the formation of individuals and citizens capable of realizing themselves within the region, Russia and on a global scale; promotion of humanitarian knowledge and culture-forming technologies in the regional cultural and educational space of the Belgorod region, Russia and abroad. The authors of the paper have developed and substantiated in the process of experimental work approaches and recommendations that contribute to increasing the effectiveness of spiritual and moral education of students.     Study of Biological Properties of Effective Pesticides Destructor Pseudomonas Putida P2

    A promising approach for remediation of contaminated soils is the use of biological products based on microorganisms-destructors. Of particular interest are the strains that can decompose several types of pollutants. Potential strains-destructors should be not only effective but also adapted for certain soil and climatic conditions. In addition, when introducing a significant amount of biological agents into the ecosystem, the lack of toxicological and pathogenic effects on plants, animals, and humans is particularly important. The object of the study is the destructor strain of sim-triazine herbicide of prometrin Pseudomonas putida P2. The study explores the ability of strain to use various pesticides as the only carbon source, the effect of bacterial culture on seed germination, biotesting of strain on toxicity using earthworms. Besides, the study presents the phytopathogenic factors and enzymes causing bacteria invasiveness into animals and humans. The determination of dehydrogenase activity of prometrin destructor strain shows that this strain can also use active ingredients of pesticide malathion, HCH, and 4,4-DDT as only sole carbon source. It is also established that the studied strain Pseudomonas putida P2 increases the germination of seeds of the variety Saratovskaya 70 and carrots of the variety Samson and does not possess pathogenicity factors. The strain biotesting on the earthworms revealed no acute toxicity of the culture. The analysis of data obtained from the model pollution shows that the introduction of the destructor of Prometrium Pseudomonas putida P2 into the soil can create favorable conditions for vital activity and reproduction of earthworms

    Polymerisable octahedral rhenium cluster complexes as precursors for photo/electroluminescent polymers

    New polymerisable photoluminescent octahedral rhenium cluster complexes trans-[{Re₆Q₈}(TBP)₄VB)₂] (Q = S or Se; TBP – p-tert-butylpyridine; VB – vinyl benzoate) have been synthesised, characterised and used to construct rhe-nium cluster-organic polymer hybrid materials. These novel polymer systems are solution-processable and the rhenium clusters retain their photoluminescent properties within the polymer environment. Notably, when the rhenium cluster complexes are incorporated into the matrix of the electroluminescent polymer poly(N-vinylcarbazole), the resultant cluster polymer hybrid combined properties of both components and was used successfully in the construc-tion of a polymer light emitting diode (PLED). These prototype devices are the first PLEDs to incorporate octahedral rhenium clusters and provide the first direct evidence of the electroluminescent properties of rhenium clusters and indeed, to the best of our knowledge, of any member of the family of 24-electron hexanuclear cluster complexes of molybdenum, tungsten or rhenium

    A rare combination of noncompact myocardium and coronary dilatation with type 1 neurofibromatosis

    The article describes the observation of a child with a very rare combination of noncompact left ventricular myocardium and coronary dilatation in type 1 neurofibromatosis (NF1). The first of these complications, undifferentiated cardiomyopathy, also known as noncompact myocardium, is not described in combination with nF 1 in available literature, although cases of hypertrophic cardiomyopathy in patients with NF 1 have been previously reported. Dilatation of the coronary arteries also refers to infrequent manifestations of vascular pathology against the background of neurofibromatosis, and the combination of all three signs (NF 1, noncompact myocardium and coronary dilatation) has not yet been reported by other authors. When examining the patient, we found the characteristic signs of NF 1 (foci of "coffee" pigmentation on the skin, multiple nevuses, fibroids of the forearm, cognitive disorders), electrocardiogram features of left ventricular hypertrophy, negative T-tooth and ST-segment displacement 1 mm below the isoline in Leads V4-6, in echocardiography - pronounced trabecularity, thinning of the compact myocardium layer and a "spongy myocardium" in the region of the left ventricle apex, dilatation of the coronary arteries. With magnetic resonance imaging, signs of noncompact myocardium of the left ventricle were found, with selective coronary angiography - slowing of the coronary blood flow. The patient receives the permanent treatment for heart failure and aspirin, his condition remains stable for 4 years of follow-u
