We introduce the concepts of fuzzy (r; s)-regular semi (resp. (r; s)-α, (r; s)-pre, (r; s)-β open sets, their respective interior and closure operators on intuitionistic fuzzy topological spaces in ˆ Sostak’s sense and then we investigate some of their characteristic properties

Semantic Retrieval of Relevant Sources for Large Scale Virtual Documents

AbstractThe term big data has come into use in recent years. It is used to refer to the ever-increasing amount of data that organizations are storing, processing and analyzing. An Interesting fact with bigdata is that it differ in Volume, Variety, Velocity characteristics which makes it difficult to process using the conventional Database Management System. Hence there is a need of schema less Management Systems even this will never be complete solution to bigdata analysis since the processing has no focus on the semantic information as they consider only the structural information. Content Management System like Wikipedia stores and links huge amount of documents and files. There is lack of semantic linking and analysis in such systems even though this kind of CMS uses clusters and distributed framework for storing big data. The retrieved references for a particular article are random and enormous. In order to reduce the number of references for a selected content there is a need for semantic matching. In this paper we propose framework which make use of the distributed parallel processing capability of Hadoop Distributed File System (HDFS) to perform semantic analysis over the volume of documents (bigdata) to find the best matched source document from the collection source documents for the same virtual document

TWO PHASE CFD FLOW ANALYSIS OF R134a AND R1234yf REFRIGERANTS AND ITS EFFECT ON COOLING PERFORMANCE IN AN AUTOMOBILE HVAC EVAPORATOR CORE

The purpose of this research is to conduct a two-phase fluid analysis and simulation for examining the influence of refrigerant (R134a/R1234yf) properties on cooling performance of an automobile HVAC (Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning) evaporator core and compare their performances. In this research, streamline deviation, static pressure, velocity magnitude, pressure co-efficiency, Reynolds number and turbulent kinetic energy play a key role in the comparison of the refrigerants R1234yf and R134a two-phase fluids. Subsequently, it was found that R134a properties were better towards the cooling performance of an automobile HVAC evaporator core.&nbsp

A Study on Impact of Foreign Direct Investment on Gross Domestic Production in India

    Get PDF
The review of various literatures and renowned publications is emphasizing that the gross domestic production of a nation is determined by several factors such as growth in agriculture and manufacturing sector, export, inflation, exchange rate and international investment. In spite of different factors affecting the growth, the incremental growth of foreign direct investment in various sectors is considered to be a vital factor which controls all other factor. The 1991 new economic policy has unfolded red carpet to the international investors and reduced the uncertainty on the legal and regulatory frame work boosted the investors’ confidence in the economy. As a result, the Indian economy witnessed a vigorous growth since the implementation of Liberalization, Privatization and Globalization (LPG). In this regard this paper is attempting to investigate the contribution of foreign direct investment to the gross domestic production of India. The investigation was made using a simple regression between foreign direct investment (FDI) and gross domestic production (GDP) for 23 years from 1991 – 2014. The result revealed that FDI has as positive impact on GDP

Development of Band Reject Filter to Mitigate the effect of WLAN in UWB Receivers

    Get PDF
This paper is about a dual band single notch filter to eliminate the effect of WLAN in UWB range. A novel square resonator with interdigital coupling at both sides plays a key role in this filter design. Design and EM Simulation of the dual band notch filter's characteristics are discussed in this paper. The proposed dual band notch filter produces excellent bandwidth from 2 GHz to 5 GHz and from 5.5 GHz to 8 GHz. The filter rejects the band of frequency from 5 GHz to 5.5 GHz which is very narrow band in which the filter eliminates the effect of WLAN (IEEE 802.11a). Also the out band performance of the proposed dual band filter meets the requirement of FCC's mask. The simulation analysis of the proposed filter is performed by electromagnetic solver. The return loss, insertion loss, group delay and phase of the filter are simulated and their performances are analyzed. The overall dimension of the filter is achieved to be 39mm x 3.2mm x 1.6mm on accounting the above features. The fractional bandwidth of the notch filter is calculated from the bandwidth and the center frequency and it is obtained about 115%. The S parameter results of the filter such as return loss (S11) in stop band is about -24 dB and insertion loss (S21) is about -28 dB is obtained

How Stressed are our Postgraduate Medical and Dental Postgraduate Students in Southern Asia? A Cross-Sectional Survey

    Get PDF
INTRODUCTION: Stress has been quite commonly reported in the literature among medical and dental students due to the nature of their work. AIM: To assess the level of stress among medical and dental postgraduates in various medical and dental Colleges in Southern Asia.MATERIALS AND METHOD: The study was cross-sectional in nature and conducted among 809 medical and dental postgraduates. Stress was measured using the Cohen’s Perceived stress scale-14 (PSS-14) online through google forms (convenience sampling). Data was entered in MS Excel and descriptive statistics was applied followed by the independent samples t-test, post-hoc modified Bonferroni test and Odd’s Ratio (OR) using SPPS version 22.0.8 Statistical significance was set at 5% (p<0.05).RESULTS: There were 342 (41.3%) medical and 467 (58.7%) dental postgraduates. Most medical postgraduates (73%) reported stress as “severe”, while among dental postgraduates, most of them(32.5%) reported having “mild” stress (p=0.03). Among both medical and dental postgraduates, the third year of their postgraduation was found to be most stressful and the association was found to be significant (p=0.04*, OR:1.5). Unmarried postgraduates among both groups reported having most stress and the association was non-significant (OR: 1.1).CONCLUSION: Both medical and dental postgraduates are requested to practice stress relieving exercises and ask for help if the need arises so

Transmission Line Fault Monitoring and Identification System by Using Internet of Things

The fault location detection has been a goal of power system engineers, since the creation of distribution and transmission systems. Quick fault detection can help protect the equipment by allowing the disconnection of faulted lines before any significant damage of the equipment. The accurate fault location can help utility personnel remove persistent of the faults and locate the areas where the faults regularly occur, thus reducing the occurrence of fault and minimize the time of power outages. As a result, while the fault location detection schemes have been developed in the past, a variety of algorithms continue to be developed to perform this task more accurately and more effectively. The detection and location of faults on power transmission lines is essential to the protection and maintenance of a power system. Most methods of fault detection and location relate to the measurements of electrical quantities provided by current and voltage transformers. These transformers can be expensive and require physical contact with the monitored high voltage equipment
