The objective of this research was to find out that Just-in-Time Teaching (JiTT) technique could improve reading comprehension of the eighth grade students at MTs Al-Istiqamah Ngata Baru. The research was pre-experimental design. The researcher employed purposive sampling technique and applied one group pre-test and post-test design. The data were collected through pre-test and post-test and analyzed statistically. The mean score of the students in the pre-test was 34.37 and the post-test was 66.60. By applying one-tailed test with 0.05 level of significance and the degree of freedom (df) was (16-1) 15, it was found that the t-counted was greater than t-table. t-counted was 11.548 while t-table was 1.753. Based on the result of analysis, the hypothesis was accepted because the researcher found that there was a significant difference from the application of Just-in-Time Teaching technique in improving students' reading comprehension. In conclusion, the use of Just-in-Time Teaching technique can improve reading comprehension of the eighth grade students at MTs Al-Istiqamah Ngata Baru. One of the policies in the concept of good governance relating to the prevention of corruption is the Budget Transparency. Batang Regency Government is one example of the local governments that implement this policy. It is important to know the perceptions of bureaucracy and stakeholders on the implementation of budget transparency in Batang Regency Government, perception is analyzed so that it can be evaluated for various parties, it was then the purpose of this study. With the quantitative approach which uses a questionnaire as a research tool, the research data is extracted from the sample of respondents consisting of 37 Public, 31 Private and 23 Society. Then the data was analyzed using SPSS Program. The results showed an average knowledge of respondens to access information and documents was less out due to involvement in the management of budget that is less active. With the average knowledge of the respondens believe is very important and a good rate on the implementation aspect of budget transparency. It thus also affect the respondens who ecxpressed very agree an very support of all the implications and the attitude of budget transparency in Batang Regency Government

Coral reef of TelukPandan Sub-district East Kutai District still low in both monitoring and management, thus also poorly in coral reef database. This research purpose was to obtain the data of coral reef condition and distribution description in this sub-district. Research was held on October 2013 at six observation stations using lifeform line intercept transect survey method. The coral condition estimation was based on live coral cover (LC) and hard coral mortality index (HCM). Coral reef distribution and wide were estimated by satellite image Landsat 7 ETM+ processing and direct field tracking using GPS. There estimated ± 618.63 ha of coral reef area consist of fringing and patch reef formation type. Live coral cover vary 2.1-67.8% or categorized “poor” to “good” reef condition and in average LC = 38.1% (“fair/moderate” condition). Hard coral morality (HCM) index ranged 0.14 – 0.8 and in average 0.31

The damage and negative consequences of the Israeli Cast Lead on Gaza in the period between December 2008 - January 2009 is not only limited to the number of martyrs and wounded people, the destruction of houses and the infrastructure, but it also reached the environment. This paper investigates the occurrence of phosphorus (P) in the soil of the northern gover-norate of the Gaza Strip which has been shaped as a result of the heavily bombing of white phosphorus on Gaza during the war. We have measured soil Phosphorus concentrations in three different areas; agricultural, non-agricultural and urban areas. The obtained Olsen P values in most of the soil samples were ranked very high. The maximum value of phosphorous determined in agricultural areas was about 110.9 mg/ kg, in the non-agricultural areas adjacent to boarders 63.3 mg/ kg, and in urban areas 85.2 mg/ kg. The results show that the potential of phosphorus in the northern of the Gaza Strip is becoming higher than the allowed Olsen P values

Wages are an important component in employment, that as one element in the implementation ofthe employment relationship, which has a strategic role in the implementation of industrialrelations, basically should be proportional to the contributions already made workers / laborers inproducing goods or services. But wages are felt by laborers / workers is still lacking to meet theneeds of decent living. Therefore, the problem in this research is "What is the role of tradeunions in the process of determining the minimum wage for Bekasi City," and "Factorssupporting and inhibiting the role of unions in wage determination".This study aims to determine the role of trade unions in determining the minimum wageBekasi City, and also look at the factors supporting and inhibiting factors that become obstaclesin the minimum wage. The research method used is descriptive qualitative primary data obtainedthrough interviews and secondary data from documents, or records, and other sources associatedwith the research. Analysis techniques used by the author uses data qualitative analysis in theform of illustration and description are also drawing conclusions on the symptoms studied. From the research, suggests that the role of trade unions is to join the Wages Council andis actively involved in the process of determining the minimum wage by providing considered aswell as the proposal on the minimum wage increase during the talks. As a member WageCouncil, is a trade union into a single entity on behalf of the union / labor. Therefore, the role oftrade unions is considered essential to the aspirations of the workers, especially in thedetermination of wage negotiations, which reflects that the union managed to raise the minimumwage. It can be concluded that trade unions play a role despite not reaching the initial proposal inthe amount of 3.1 million and a minimum wage for 2015 already in the set in accordance withthe decree of the Governor of West Java Letter No. 560 / Kep.1581-Bangsos / 2014.Advice can be given, among others As a member of the Remuneration Council Bekasi, trade unions should conduct a survey in accordance with the Regulation of the Minister ofLabour that have been listed in the Components and Implementation Phases Achievement NeedsLife, This is because when the survey is carried out not in accordance with existing regulations, unions to be able to utilize and give wisdom to face and overcome the obstacles that exist withinthe union as well as the barriers that exist outside the union

Effects of plot size, stand density, and scan density on the relationship between airborne laser scanning metrics and the gini coefficient of tree size inequality

© 2017, Canadian Science Publishing. All rights reserved. Estimation of the Gini coefficient (GC) of tree sizes using airborne laser scanning (ALS) can provide maps of forest structure across the landscape, which can support sustainable forest management. A challenge arise s in determining the optimal spatial resolution that maximizes the stability and precision of GC estimates, which in turn depends on stand density or ALS scan density. By subsampling different plot sizes within large field plots, we evaluated the optimal spatial resolution by observing changes in GC estimation and in its correlation with ALS metrics. We found that plot size had greater effects than either stand density or ALS scan density on the relationship between GC and ALS metrics. Uncertainty in GC estimates fell as plot size increased. Correlation with ALS metrics showed convex curves with maxima at 250–450m 2 , which thus was considered the optimal plot size and, consequently, the optimal spatial resolution. By thinning the density of the ALS point cloud, we deduced that at least 3 points·m −2 were needed for reliable GC estimates. Many nationwide ALS scan densities are sparser than this, so may be unreliable for GC estimation. Ours is a simple approach for evaluating the optimal spatial resolution in remote sensing estimation of any forest attribute
