Method for Automatic Collocation Extraction from Ukrainian Corpora

    Get PDF
The article deals with the methods for automatic collocation extraction from Ukrainian corpora. The task of collocation extraction is considered in terms of a corpus-oriented approach [1], based on statistical measures. The term «collocation» is defined as a non-random combination of two words that go together regularly

Application of Supercomputer Technologies for Simulation of Socio-Economic Systems

To date, an extensive experience has been accumulated in investigation of problems related to quality, assessment of management systems, modeling of economic system sustainability. The studies performed have created a basis for formation of a new research area — Economics of Quality. Its tools allow to use opportunities of model simulation for construction of the mathematical models adequately reflecting the role of quality in natural, technical, social regularities of functioning of the complex socioeconomic systems. Extensive application and development of models, and also system modeling with use of supercomputer technologies, on our deep belief, will bring the conducted researches of social and economic systems to essentially new level. Moreover, the current scientific research makes a significant contribution to model simulation of multi-agent social systems and that isn’t less important, it belongs to the priority areas in development of science and technology in our country. This article is devoted to the questions of supercomputer technologies application in public sciences, first of all, — regarding technical realization of the large-scale agent-focused models (AFM). The essence of this tool is that owing to increase in power of computers it became possible to describe the behavior of many separate fragments of a difficult system, as social and economic systems represent. The article also deals with the experience of foreign scientists and practicians in launching the AFM on supercomputers, and also the example of AFM developed in CEMI RAS, stages and methods of effective calculating kernel display of multi-agent system on architecture of a modern supercomputer will be analyzed. The experiments on the basis of model simulation on forecasting the population of St. Petersburg according to three scenarios as one of the major factors influencing the development of social and economic system and quality of life of the population are presented in the conclusion

Collaborative Learning Technologies in Teaching Preschool Twins

    Get PDF
This paper focuses on applying collaborative learning technologies in teaching preschool twins and reveals the role of collaborative learning in the formation of twins’ self-awareness. At the ascertaining stage of the experiment, 100 twins of preschool age took part. At the formative stage of the experiment, 16 preschoolers took part. At the formative stage of the experiment, an empirical assessment was carried out based on empirical indicators of the process and result of joint task performance by twins before and after participation in the formative experiment. An empirical study of the peculiarities of intrapair interaction in collaborative activities of preschool twins has shown effects that are a consequence of the twin situation. The use of collaborative learning in the psychological and pedagogical support of preschool twins has allowed obtaining positive results expressed in an increase in self-esteem, motivation for cooperation, and a decrease in aggressiveness and rivalry in a pair of twins

The modified numerical scheme for 2d flow-structure interaction simulation using meshless vortex element method

    Get PDF
The modification of the meshless Vortex Element Method based on the Viscous Vortex Domain Method and non-classical approach to boundary conditions satisfaction is developed for numerical simulation in 2D FSI-problems for incompressible flows. The developed approach preserves all advantages of meshless lagrangian vortex methods, however the accuracy of vortex layer computation is much higher than in ‘classical’ re- alizations of vortex methods. No-slip boundary condition is satisfied through limit value of tangential velocity vanishing on the airfoil surface while in ‘classical’ approach nor- mal components of velocity are used. These approaches lead to Fredholm-type integral equation of the second kind and Hilbert-type singular integral equation of the first kind correspondingly. The developed method allows to simulate flow around fixed, movable and deformable airfoils while the computational cost of the algorithm remains nearly the same. The discretization scheme is constructed in such a way that it provides exactly the same results in direct and inversed motion of the airfoil (i. e. when the rigid airfoil moves translationally in still media and when the airfoil is fixed in the unbounded incident flow). In addition to number of model problems which shows advantages of the developed ap- proach and its accuracy order, the well-known two-way coupled problem of vortex induced vibrations and wind resonance phenomenon simulation is considered. The obtained depen- dency of the oscillations amplitude on the eigenfrequency of linear visco-elastic mechanical system (including hysteresis phenomenon) is in good agreement with experimental data and other known numerical simulations. It is shown that meshless vortex method allows to provide numerical simulation in such problems with sufficiently small requirements to memory and computational time and small numerical viscosity

NEUROMARKETING OF FINANCIAL REPORTING: RUSSIAN VIEW OF METHODOLOGY FOR IMPROVING REPORTING

    Get PDF
Neuromarketing of financial reporting is a topic of interest to all representatives of the professional accounting and auditing environment. This paper will present the main problems of modern financial accounting, and possible solutions to them using neuromarketing methods. Thus, in order for financial statements to allow companies to attract new investments, as well as to avoid penalties from the tax authorities, organizations need to regard reporting as a commodity whose main consumers are users of these financial statements. In order to make this product interesting for consumers, companies need to attract their attention using neuromarketing methods, which will allow investors, tax authorities and lending organizations to quickly and efficiently use of data on the company\u27s business operations, as well as make the necessary economic decisions faster. Thus, an easy, understandable and accessible presentation of the results of an enterprise’s economic activity at the reporting date may allow both firms and users of financial statements to interact more effectively

High-order numerical scheme for vortex sheet approximation in vortex methods for 2D flow simulation

    Get PDF
The problem of high-order numerical schemes developing is considered for solving of boundary integral equation for vortex sheet intensity, which arises in 2D mesh-less vortex particle methods. Curvilinearity of the airfoil surface line is taken into account: its shape is approximated by Hermite cubic spline interpolation instead of rectilinear pan- els which are usually used in vortex methods. Coefficients of system of linear algebraic equations are represented by define integrals of known functions. For some coefficients (which can not be calculated numerically) approximate analytic formulae are obtained, the other coefficients can be computed using 4 point Gaussian integration. The devel- oped numerical scheme provides 4-th order of accuracy for average values of vortex sheet intensities over the panels

A new experimental technique for obtaining diagnostic test systems is introduced based on conjugates "polymer microsphere–bioligand" for rapid diagnosis of autoantibodies to the modified protein on example of thyroglobulin, which consists of preliminary blocking of aldehyde groups of polymer microspheres by glycine amine groups, and then of the covalent interaction between carboxyl group of glycine and the amino groups of thyroglobulin. This way of creating test systems has enhanced the sensitivity of the reaction of latex agglutination (RLA) by extending the boundaries of titer.A new experimental technique for obtaining diagnostic test systems is introduced based on conjugates "polymer microsphere–bioligand" for rapid diagnosis of autoantibodies to the modified protein on example of thyroglobulin, which consists of preliminary blocking of aldehyde groups of polymer microspheres by glycine amine groups, and then of the covalent interaction between carboxyl group of glycine and the amino groups of thyroglobulin.
