The aim of this study was to verify the influence of ludotechnic model to teach the high jump discipline in the Secondary Education Physical Education context. The study sought to test students’ satisfaction, their learning of the technique and their performance. The teaching unit intervention consisted of 6 sessions with 24 high school students, 11 male and 13 female. Following a quasi-experimental intervention, a pretest and postest previously validated were used to assess the satisfaction-boredom (8 items), and a protocol for performance measurement (12 premises) and the height (all sessions were videotaped and analysed afterwards). The results indicated significant differences: increase of students satisfaction t (,0039) <0,05 (M= 3,37 to 3,76), decrease of students boredom t (,0010) <0,05 (M= 2,6 to 2,03), and improvement of technical execution (3,8 to 7,4 was achieved in 12 items available. p<0,05). The conclusion is that the ludtechnic model is a method that enables the development of a more motivating, satisfying and efficient (improvement of the sport discipline objectives) physical education lessons.
Emulation of MIMO nonisotropic fading environments with reverberation chambers
Some recent publications have extended the emulating
capabilities of reverberation chambers. While polarization
imbalance has been removed and Ricean-fading environments
are now properly emulated, these chambers are still limited to
isotropic nonline of sight (NLOS) scattering. By controlling the
power received, number of resolvable multipath components
(MPC), angular spread (AS), and angle of arrival (AoA), the emulation
of real-propagating environments with both isotropic and
nonisotropic scattering are demonstrated in this letter using a reverberation
chamber with several multiple-input–multiple-output
(MIMO) arrays. This work was supported in part by the Fundación Séneca,

Effect of user presence on receive diversity and MIMO capacity for rayleigh-fading channels
The effects of the presence of the user on multipleinput–
multiple-output (MIMO) performance for wireless communications
systems is investigated through measurements in a reverberation
chamber. Measured results have demonstrated that despite
a decrement on the envelope correlation coefficient, a degradation
of both diversity gain and MIMO capacity are expected
when the user is present. While the validity of the correlation coefficients
for predicting MIMO performance is limited in the presence
of the user, the effects have also been found to be strongly dependent
upon frequency, antenna topology, and user characteristics. This work

Accurate Estimation of Correlation and Capacity for Hybrid Spatial-Angular MIMO Systems
In this paper, several novel functions for accurately
estimating the correlation and the multiple-input–multiple-output
(MIMO) capacity of combined spatial and true polarization diversity
(TPD) schemes are proposed for the first time. Minimum
error estimation of the correlation for a hybrid spatial–TPD linear
scheme previously reported cannot be obtained by simple nonlinear
least-square estimators, and the use of genetic algorithms
(GAs) provides an accurate solution. Channel matrix coefficients
and MIMO capacities are analyzed for the diverse optimization
strategies employed, which aim to identify the best prediction of
MIMO performance. The novel functions are used with previously
reported results and validated for Rayleigh fading scenarios with
isotropic scattering using a multimode-stirred chamber (MIMO
Analyzer). An accurate prediction of high correlation values is
concluded to be of extreme importance for the final MIMO
performance estimation. This has been found to be particularly
important for estimating MIMO capacity with achieved prediction
accuracies of 1.1% at SNR = 15 dB. In contrast, the accurate
prediction of low correlation values has been found to have a
less-important effect on the final capacity-predicting performance. This work was supported in part by the Spanish National R&D Program under Grant TEC2008-05811
Estimating combined correlation functions for dipoles in rayleigh-fading scenarios
While the spatial correlation function between two dipoles is well known, the angular correlation function for dif-ferent arbitrary inclination angles in transmission and reception is not available in the literature. In this paper,a novel angular correlation function is proposed for two dipoles with arbitrary inclination angles between transmission and reception, which is useful for true polarization diversity schemes.Like wise, two original functions for estimating combined spatial-angular corre-lation are proposed. The novel functions are used with previously reported results and validated for Rayleigh-fading scenarios with isotropics cattering using are verberation chamber. This work was supported in part by Fundación Séneca,Autonomous Region of Murcia,Spain, under Projects 2I05SU0033 and TIC-TEC06/01-0003
Diversity gain and MIMO capacity for non- isotropic environments using a reverberation chamber
Several physical parameters of realistic nonisotropic
environments have been recently emulated with
reverberation chambers. In this paper the different
performance in terms of diversity gain and MIMO
capacity of the same linear MIMO array in different
non-isotropic propagating scenarios is demonstrated
with a reverberation chamber for the first time. This
could be useful for designing antenna arrays in handset
MIMO.This work was supported in part

Emulation of MIMO rician-fading environments with mode-stirred reverberation chambers
Some recent publications have extended the emulating capabilities of mode-stirred reverberation chambers, which are now able to emulate Ricean-fading and non-isotropic
environments. Either the need to physically modify existing chambers or multiple sets of measurements is required for these enhancements. In this paper a novel post-processing hybrid tool is presented for the transformation of a Rayleigh-fading emulated
environment into a Rician one. The model is tested and compared to outdoor measurements and simulations through the K-factor, correlation, diversity gain and MIMO capacity. Results show an excellent matching performance with no hardware modifications
of mode-stirred chambers with just one set of measurements. The method is patent prot cted by EMITE Ing.This work was supported in part by Fundación Séneca, the R&D unit of the Autonomous Region of Murcia (Spain) under project reference 11783/PI/09 and in part by the Spanish National R&D Programme through TEC2008-05811.
