Co-word analysis and academic performance from the Australasian Journal of Educational Technology in Web of Science
This study has been funded by the I+D+i project: Active methodologies for learning through technological resources for the development of society; code: CNT 4315.Since its inception in 1985, the Australasian Journal of Educational Technology (AJET) has been dedicated to the diffusion of studies on the integration of technology in higher education. Its track record in this field has placed it in the first quartile of the Scimago Journal & Country Rank. The objective of the study was to reveal to the scientific community the journey and evolution that this journal has had throughout its existence in Web of Science. A bibliometric methodology was used, supported by a scientific mapping from a unit of analysis of 798 documents. For this reason, a co-word analysis can be a fundamental tool for understanding the characteristics of their production and their impact on the scientific community. There is an evident progressive evolution of the studies published in the Australasian Journal of Educational Technology, with a first phase focused on the design and implementation of educational technology in learning environments, a second phase focused on the enrichment of technology and its acceptance within the processes of teaching and learning, and finally a stage focused on student and teacher perceptions of the implementation of technology in the educational context.I+D+i project: Active methodologies for learning through technological resources for the development of society CNT 431
Attitudes Towards the Development of Good Practices with Augmented Reality in Secondary Education Teachers in Spain
The attitude of the teaching staff is positioned as a fundamental aspect for the development
of good training practices. These good practices are essential when applied within an innovative
techno-pedagogical methodology: augmented reality in education. The objectives of
this study are to analyze the development of good teaching practices with augmented reality
and to discover the factors that influence their quality. A descriptive and correlational
design has been carried out. A total of 1490 Spanish Secondary Education teachers have
participated. The instrument used was the adaptation to the Spanish context of the questionnaire
of the Attitude Scale of Augmented Reality Applications. The results reveal that
teachers show a positive attitude towards the use of augmented reality. As for the aspects
that influence the good attitude of teachers are age, the number of devices teachers use, the
time they dedicate to technological resources and teaching experience. However, ICT training
is what determines a direct influence on the attitude of teachers, as well as satisfaction

Design and validation of a questionnaire for the evaluation of educational experiences in the metaverse in Spanish students (METAEDU)
The aim of this study is to design and validate an instrument that allows the evaluation of educational experiences
and formative assessment in the metaverse from a holistic perspective. Hence, a research design based on the
development of a scale has been used. Three hundred and sixty-two Spanish secondary school students participated
in the study, selected through purposive sampling. The instrument created has been subjected to an analysis
of content validity, validity by expert judgment, construct validity, and reliability. For data analysis, the SPSS and
AMOS programs have been used. An exploratory factor analysis and a confirmatory factor analysis have been
performed to determine the construct validity. In addition, the Cronbach's alpha has been calculated to verify the
internal consistency of the tool. The results reveal several findings that position the resulting questionnaire as a
valid and reliable instrument to evaluate educational experiences and practices in the metaverse. In short, this
study has led to the development of a comprehensive evaluation tool at the service of educators or any institution
interested in implementing its educational praxis within the metaverse, a field of research that has yet to be
explored.GOAL! Teaching Methodology for the Transformation of Learning in the METAVERSE 2211
Design and Validation of a Portable Radio-Frequency Diathermy Prototype
In this work we present the design of a portable radio-frequency diathermy (RFD) prototype and its initial medical validation. The electronic circuit consists of a voltage-controlled oscillator, a low-frequency oscillator and a voltage amplifier powered by a rechargeable battery. Circuit was designed to develop a pulsed output of 120 V at a frequency ranging from 500 KHz to 1 MHz. The RFD circuit was implemented with commercially available components and assembled on a printed circuit board (PCB). The complete product, including flexible electrodes, was assembled on a 6 cm x 9 cm x 3 cm cabinet. Experimental results show that the output can reach a pulsed voltage of 84 Vpp and a current of 120 mA during 8 hours of continuous operation, which fulfills the autonomy requirement of portable devices for low power RFD applications. A comparative study according to physical rehabilitation protocol was carried out on a universe of 20 patients with lumbago disease with continuous RFD treatment using our prototype versus a traditional RFD treatment. Preliminary results show that muscle healing was more effective in patients with continuous RFD treatment, validating this prototype for therapeutic applications
A Programmable CMOS Voltage Controlled Ring Oscillator for Radio-Frequency Diathermy On-chip Circuit
In this work we present the design of a digitally controlled ring type oscillator in 0.5 μm CMOS technology for a low-cost and portable radio-frequency diathermy (RFD) device. The oscillator circuit is composed by a low frequency ring oscillator (LFRO), a voltage controlled ring oscillator (VCRO), and a logic control. The digital circuit generates an input signal for the LFO, which generates a voltage ramp that controls the oscillating output signal of the VCRO in the range of 100 KHz to 1 MHz. Simulation results show that the proposed circuit exhibits controllable output characteristics in the range of 100 KHz – 1 MHz, with low power consumption and low phase noise, making it suitable for a portable RFD device
Influence of the structural components of artificial turf systems on impact attenuation in amateur football players
The purpose of this research was to evaluate the infuence of the structural components of diferent 3rd generation artifcial turf football feld systems on the biomechanical response of impact attenuation in amateur football players. A total of 12 amateur football players (24.3±3.7 years, 73.5±5.5kg, 178.3±4.1cm and 13.7±4.3 years of sport experience) were evaluated on three third generation artifcial turf systems (ATS) with diferent structural components. ATS were composed of asphalt subbase and 45mm of fbre height with (ATS1) and without (ATS2) elastic layer or compacted granular sub-base, 60mm of fbre height without elastic layer (ATS3). Two triaxial accelerometers were frmly taped to the forehead and the distal end of the right tibia of each individual. The results reveal a higher force reduction on ATS3 in comparison to ATS1 (+6.24%, CI95%: 1.67 to 10.92, ES: 1.07; p<0.05) and ATS2 (+21.08%, CI95%: 16.51 to 25.66, ES: 2.98; p<0.05) elastic layer. Tibia acceleration rate was lower on ATS3 than ATS1 (−0.32, CI95%: −0.60 to −0.03, ES: 4.23; p<0.05) and ATS2 (−0.35, CI95%: −0.64 to −0.06; ES: 4.69; p<0.05) at 3.3m/s. A very large correlation (r=0.7 to 0.9; p<0.05) was found between energy restitution and fbre height in both head and tibial peak acceleration and stride time. In conclusion, structural components (fbre height, infll, sub-base and elastic layer) determine the mechanical properties of artifcial turf felds. A higher force reduction and lower energy restitution diminished the impact received by the player which could protect against injuries associated with impacts compared to harder artifcial turf surfaces

Bullying among Teens: Are Ethnicity and Race Risk Factors for Victimization? A Bibliometric Research
Bullying is a problematic situation that negatively affects thousands of children and adolescents in today’s world. The multicultural society resulting from globalization has caused different reactions throughout society. In the school context, some authors indicate that ethnicity and race are risk factors for being victims of bullying. Therefore, the purpose of this paper was to analyze the scientific production on racial or ethnic bullying with the greatest impact at present, considering nine variables: Publication date, authors, organizations, countries, journals, type of document, area of research, language, and reference with more impact (cites). We conducted a bibliometric study through systematic review, documentary quantification, and data visualization techniques. We analyzed 831 documents, with a notable increase in recent years (2011–2019), highlighting the production from Dewey Cornell (University of Virginia, Charlottesville, VA, USA). On the other hand, the results showed that ethnic identity constitutes a differential factor in harassment appearing, accompanied by very poor socio-economic and cultural levels favoring depressive tendencies and drug consumption in the ethnic harassed. In short, bullying has a negative impact both physically and psychologically on the victims. For this reason, we must continue to work from the school context to eradicate the situation that is affecting more and more people
Among the different tools that can be used in the implementation of flipped learning, learning management systems stand out as one of the educational technology systems that best solve problems related to usability, accessibility, and evaluation. The objective of this study is to analyze the academic impact of flipped learning through LMS platforms versus the use of flipped learning in other non-interactive digital media, as traditional learning. For this, a quasi-experimental design was used in a sample of 231 Spanish secondary school students. A questionnaire was used to collect the data. The results show that students who have followed the teaching-learning process with flipped learning obtain better results than those who only apply the flipped learning method. It is concluded that the use of an LMS during the application of the flipped learning methodology contributes to an optimization of the general teaching-learning process.
