    The distribution of the aggregate claim size is the considerable importance in insurance theory since, for example, it is needed as an input in premium calculation principles and reserve calculation which plays an important paper in ruin theory. In this paper a Bayesian study for the collective risk model by incorporating a prior distribution for both, the parameter of the claim number distribution and the parameter of the claim size distribution is made and applied to the variance premium principle. Later a sensitivity study is to carry out on both parameters using Bayesian global robustness. Despite the complicated form of the collective risk model it is shown how the robustness study can be treated in an easy way. We illustrate the results obtained with numerical examples.Bayesian Robustness, Contamination Class, Variance Principle.

    Study and analysis of the implementation of 4.0 technologies in the agri-food supply chain: A state of the art

    Industry 4.0 is changing the industrial environment. Particularly, the emerging Industry 4.0 technologies can improve the agri-food supply chain throughout all its stages. This study aims to highlight the benefits of implementing Industry 4.0 in the agri-food supply chain. First, it presents how technologies enhance the agri-food supply chain development. Then, it identifies and highlights the most common challenges that Industry 4.0 implementation faces in agri-food’s environment. After that, it proposes key performance indicators to measure the advantages of this implementation. To achieve this, a systematic literature review was conducted. It combined conceptual and bibliometric analyses of 78 papers. As a result, the most suitable technologies were identified, e.g., Internet of Things, Big Data, blockchain and cyber physical systems. The most used indicators are proposed and the challenges of implementation were detected and classified in three groups, i.e., technical, educational and governmental. This paper highlights and exemplifies the benefits of implementing Industry 4.0 facing the lack of knowledge that exists nowadays. Moreover, it fulfils the gaps in literature, i.e., the lack of information about the implementation of technologies 4.0 or the description of the most relevant indicators for Industry 4.0 implementation. © 2021 by the authors.     De la escena al folio: Una aproximación a los personajes de la comedia nueva a través de una miscelánea barroca

    La Comedia nueva aportó una serie de personajes que dieron el salto tanto al escenario como a las páginas de algunas misceláneas barrocas como la obra Navidad de Zaragoza (1654) del aragonés Matías de Aguirre. El análisis de las cuatro comedias incluidas en esta obra nos permite repasar los diferentes tipos de personajes (héroes y galanes, damas, criadas y graciosos) y sus características en la diferente tipología de comedias al modo del Arte nuevo. The Comedia nueva brought a series of characters who made the leap both to the stage and to the pages of some Baroque miscellanies such as the work Navidad de Zaragoza (1654) by the aragonese Matías de Aguirre. The analysis of the four comedies included in this work allows us to review the different types of characters (heroes and gallants, ladies, maids and graciosos) and their characteristics in the different type of comedies in the style of Arte nuevo

    Solving nonlinear problems by Ostrowski Chun type parametric families

    In this paper, by using a generalization of Ostrowski' and Chun's methods two bi-parametric families of predictor-corrector iterative schemes, with order of convergence four for solving system of nonlinear equations, are presented. The predictor of the first family is Newton's method, and the predictor of the second one is Steffensen's scheme. One of them is extended to the multidimensional case. Some numerical tests are performed to compare proposed methods with existing ones and to confirm the theoretical results.     Determination of the blocking temperature of magnetic nanoparticles: The good, the bad, and the ugly

    A numerically solved two-level Stoner-Wohlfarth model with thermal agitation is used to simulate Zero Field Cooling (ZFC)-Field Cooling (FC) curves of monosize and polysize samples and to determine the best method for obtaining a representative blocking temperature TB value of polysize samples. The results confirm a technique based on the T derivative of the difference between ZFC and FC curves proposed by Micha et al. (the good) and demonstrate its relation with two alternative methods: the ZFC maximum (the bad) and the inflection point (the ugly). The derivative method is then applied to experimental data, obtaining the TB distribution of a polysize Fe3O4 nanoparticle sample suspended in hexane with an excellent agreement with TEM characterization

    King-Type Derivative-Free Iterative Families: Real and Memory Dynamics

    [EN] A biparametric family of derivative-free optimal iterative methods of order four, for solving nonlinear equations, is presented. From the error equation of this class, different families of iterative schemes with memory can be designed increasing the order of convergence up to six. The real stability analysis of the biparametric family without memory is made on quadratic polynomials, finding areas in the parametric plane with good performance.Moreover, in order to study the real behavior of the parametric class with memory, we associate it with a discrete multidimensional dynamical system.     Raw versus cooked food matching: Nutrient intake using the 2015/16 Kenya Integrated Household Budget Survey

    In many countries, statistics from household consumption and expenditure surveys are increasingly being used to inform policies and programs. In household surveys, foods are typically reported as they are acquired (the majority are raw). However, the micronutrient content of some foods diminishes during processing and cooking. Using food consumption data from the 2015/16 Kenya Integrated Household Budget Survey, this study analyzes whether mean consumption estimates of dietary energy, macronutrients, and eight micronutrients are equivalent (applying a two-side paired equivalence test) when matching foods: (1) considering the nutrient content in raw foods (as reported in the survey), and (2) considering the nutrient content in foods as typically consumed, thus applying yield and retention factors as needed. Both food matching approaches rendered statistically equivalent mean consumption estimates, at national and county levels, for dietary energy, protein, fats, available carbohydrates, total fiber, calcium and zinc. Non-equivalent means were found for iron, vitamins A, B1, B2, B12, and C. The higher differences between the means were, in percentage change, for vitamin C (47 %), B1 (34 %) and B12 (26 %)
