Patrimonio Cultural. Conceptos, debates y problemas

Resulta una ardua tarea presentar el panorama general relativo al patrimonio cultural, elaborar un texto que aborde el concepto y su aplicación de forma integral, dado lo extenso y complejo de este término. No obstante, este, ampliamente analizado y convenientemente tratado desde una perspectiva crítica, sirve de firme hilo conductor a la publicación de Ignacio González-Varas, quien expone con maestría el concepto de patrimonio cultural, su génesis y su papel en nuestro mundo actual

D. José Cortines Pacheco, Académico de la Real Academia de Bellas Artes de Santa Isabel de Hungría, desde muy joven mostró sus aspiraciones relacionadas con el mundo del arte en sus diversas vertientes, erigiéndose como uno de los más importantes promotores y coleccionistas artísticos del siglo XX en el contexto local de Lebrija (Sevilla). Una de sus más preciadas colecciones sería la de tipología pictórica, integrada en buena medida por la obra de la artista Antonia Rodríguez Sánchez de Alva, un conjunto a través del cual pretendemos conocer y analizar el vínculo de Cortines Pacheco con las manifestaciones artísticas en general, la actividad coleccionista y sus intentos por dar proyección a este legado, en una fecha tan señalada como el centenario de su nacimiento (1916-2016).Mr. José Cortines Pacheco, full member of the Royal Academy of Fine Arts of Saint Isabel of Hungary, during his youth showed aspirations related to the world of art on its diverse aspects, becaming one of the most important promoters and art collectors on the 20th Century in the local context of Lebrija (Seville). One of his most treasured collections would be the pictorial, mainly the artwork of Antonia Rodríguez Sánchez de Alva, collection which help us to identify and analyse the relation of Cortines Pacheco with Fine Arts, art collecting and his attempts to promote this legacy, in a significant date as the centenary of his birth (1916-2016)

The Provincial monument’s Commission and the protection of the hermitage and the castle in Lebrija (Sevilla)

El presente artículo expone nuevos datos acerca de la valoración patrimonial histórica del conocido como Castillo de Lebrija y su Ermita. A través del cruce de correspondencia entre la Comisión de Monumentos Históricos y Artísticos de la provincia de Sevilla y diversas autoridades, relatamos varios episodios que ponen de manifiesto la vulnerabilidad histórica de esta fortificación y del inmueble religioso que se inscribe en su perímetro, en el período comprendido entre 1885 y 1912. El estado ruinoso de los bienes, un supuesto acuerdo de derribo del castillo, así como la extracción de materiales del mismo inciden sobre la conservación del sitio histórico, su funcionalidad, además de cuestionar sus valores monumentalesThis article exposes a series of new data about the historical valorization of the heritage, concretely about the Castle of Lebrija and its Hermitage. Through different correspondence in which participate the Historic and Artistic Monument’s Commission of the province of Seville and diverse authorities, we relate some episodes which bring to light the centuries-old vulnerability of this bastion and the religious building inscribed in its perimeter, within the period from 1885 to 1912. Sensory analysis of nougat: methodology, training, and validation of a panel for protected geographical indication Torró d'Agramunt

Nougat-type confections, made with nuts, honey or sugar, and/or egg whites, are consumed in many countries. Torró d'Agramunt is a nougat produced in northeast Spain that has been awarded the European quality label Protected Geographical Indication (PGI). When sensory descriptors are included in the PGI's operating regulations, the sensory quality of products with the label must be guaranteed. The current study established eight descriptors and reference ranges for Torró d'Agramunt, differentiating between products labeled “supreme category” (containing =60% nuts) from those labeled “extra category” (containing =46% nuts), and developed a method to train a panel of tasters to evaluate this product. Applying the method also showed that sensory analysis is useful for identifying products that are nearing their expiry date.
