The legal framework for the protection of minors under Spanish state legislation

The current article aims to explain the different protective measures for minors immersed in social and familial conflict situations regulated by the Spanish communal territorial statute law. Public administrative organisms assume competencies in this matter by authorising the taking of different measures depending on the specific circumstances of each case. Undoubtedly, it can be confirmed that the current legal framework has achieved the integrated protection of those children and youngsters whose parents or tutors do not meet, or do so faultily, the duties associated with parental custody. However, its application in practice has also shown the problems and deficiencies this normative framework suffers from.peer-reviewe

Weaving a fabric of socially aware agents

The expansion of web-enabled social interaction has shed light on social aspects of intelligence that have not been typically studied within the AI paradigm so far. In this context, our aim is to understand what constitutes intelligent social behaviour and to build computational systems that support it. We argue that social intelligence involves socially aware, autonomous individuals that agree on how to accomplish a common endeavour, and then enact such agreements. In particular, we provide a framework with the essential elements for such agreements to be achieved and executed by individuals that meet in an open environment. Por este motivo se ha creado una aplicación acompañada de un dispositivo para bicicletas pensando en las situaciones y peligros en los que un ciclista se puede encontrar a diario.At the present, a greater number of people are willing to change their means of transport, be it a car, bus, taxi et., for a bicycle. The main causes are because of greater awareness of the environmental impact these means of transportation cause, traffic ease or simply to maintain a healthy lifestyle and interest in a good physique. In the major cities in Colombia, more road improvements are being implemented for bicycles since it is a trend that is growing rapidly. For this reason, an application has been created as well as a device for bicycles thinking about the situations and dangers in which a cyclist can be found in a daily basis

High sporulation and overexpression of virulence factors in biofilms and reduced susceptibility to vancomycin and linezolid in recurrent Clostridium [Clostridioides] difficile infection isolates

Clostridium [Clostridioides] difficile infection (CDI) is one of the leading causes of diarrhea associated with medical care worldwide, and up to 60% of patients with CDI can develop a recurrent infection (R-CDI). A multi-species microbiota biofilm model of C. difficile was designed to evaluate the differences in the production of biofilms, sporulation, susceptibility to drugs, expression of sporulating (sigH, spo0A), quorum sensing (agrD1, and luxS), and adhesion-associated (slpA and cwp84) pathway genes between selected C. difficile isolates from R-CDI and non-recurrent patients (NR-CDI). We obtained 102 C. difficile isolates from 254 patients with confirmed CDI (66 from NR-CDI and 36 from R-CDI). Most of the isolates were biofilm producers, and most of the strains were ribotype 027 (81.374%, 83/102). Most C. difficile isolates were producers of biofilm (100/102), and most were strongly adherent. Sporulation was higher in the R-CDI than in the NR-CDI isolates (p = 0.015). The isolates from R-CDI patients more frequently demonstrated reduced susceptibility to vancomycin than isolates of NR-CDI patients (27.78% [10/36] and 9.09% [6/66], respectively, p = 0.013). The minimum inhibitory concentrations for vancomycin and linezolid against biofilms (BMIC) were up to 100 times and 20 times higher, respectively, than the corresponding planktonic MICs. Expression of sigH, spo0A, cwp84, and agrD1 was higher in R-CDI than in NR-CDI isolates. Most of the C. difficile isolates were producers of biofilms with no correlation with the ribotype. Sporulation was greater in R-CDI than in NR-CDI isolates in the biofilm model of C. difficile. The R-CDI isolates more frequently demonstrated reduced susceptibility to vancomycin and linezolid than the NR-CDI isolates in both planktonic cells and biofilm isolates. A higher expression of sporulating pathway (sigH, spo0A), quorum sensing (agrD1), and adhesion-associated (cwp84) genes was found in R-CDI than in NR-CDI isolates. All of these factors can have effect on the recurrence of the infection.Peer reviewe

En el presente estudio, se investigó a cerca de los factores de compra que intervienen en el proceso de decisión de los clientes, asimismo se investigó sobre el posicionamiento de marca de los clientes del canal Tv Cosmos, los cuales son responsables de alquilar el espacio publicitario, por dicha razón se tiene como finalidad identificar qué factores de decisión de compra influyen en el posicionamiento de marca de los clientes. El objetivo general del estudio fue: Determinar la influencia de los factores de decisión de compra en el posicionamiento de marca de los clientes del canal Tv Cosmos de la ciudad de Trujillo -2019, los objetivos específicos fueron: Describir los niveles de los factores de decisión de compra de los clientes del canal Tv Cosmos de la ciudad de Trujillo– 2019. Determinar el nivel de posicionamiento de marca de los clientes del canal Tv Cosmos de la ciudad de Trujillo – 2019. Identificar los factores que motivan la decisión de compra del cliente del canal Tv Cosmos de la ciudad de Trujillo– 2019 y Proponer estrategias de marketing enfocado en los factores de decisión de compra para influenciar en el posicionamiento de marca de los clientes del canal Tv Cosmos de la ciudad de Trujillo-2019. La investigación fue cuantitativa de tipo correlacional de modelo no experimental y de corte transversal de acuerdo al fin que se busca, se aplicaron conocimientos y métodos estadísticos en la práctica, para provecho de la sociedad. La población estuvo conformada por 25 clientes del canal Tv Cosmos en la ciudad de Trujillo, el muestreo fue extraído por conveniencia del investigador para la exactitud de los resultados

“La influencia del intraemprendimiento femenino en la competitividad de la empresa Perú Money S.A.C, Lima Metropolitana- 2017”

El presente trabajo de investigación lleva por título “La influencia del intraemprendimiento femenino en la competitividad de la empresa Perú Money S.A.C, Lima Metropolitana, 2017”. El objetivo principal fue determinar la influencia del intraemprendimiento de la mujer trabajadora en el desarrollo de la competitividad empresarial. Para ello se trabajó con la población de la empresa Perú Money S.A.C en la provincia de Lima Metropolitana, que estuvo representada por 50 colaboradores entre varones y mujeres. La muestra estuvo conformada por 30 mujeres y se obtuvo aplicando la técnica del muestreo intencional, propio del muestreo no probabilístico. La metodología utilizada fue del tipo de investigación aplicada con diseño no experimental-transversal; además el nivel de investigación que se utilizó fue el explicativo-causal, ya que se trabajó con variables independientes y dependientes. Se usó el cuestionario como instrumento de recolección de datos y se aplicó la técnica de la encuesta sobre la muestra. Los datos fueron procesados utilizando el programa del SPSS Estatistics v.22 y analizados por el método estadístico descriptivo-inferencial. La conclusión obtenida fue que si existe influencia del intraemprendimiento femenino en la competitividad empresarial, que las nuevas organizaciones tienen la obligación de generar nuevas políticas internas que promuevan la cultura del intraemprendimiento tanto como la participación del talento humano en la generación de estrategias que permitan una mejor actuación de la organización en el mercado global

Communicating open systems

Just as conventional institutions are organisational structures for coordinating the activities of multiple interacting individuals, electronic institutions provide a computational analogue for coordinating the activities of multiple interacting software agents. In this paper, we argue that open multi-agent systems can be effectively designed and implemented as electronic institutions, for which we provide a comprehensive computational model. More specifically, the paper provides an operational semantics for electronic institutions, specifying the essential data structures, the state representation and the key operations necessary to implement them. We specify the agent workflow structure that is the core component of such electronic institutions and particular instantiations of knowledge representation languages that support the institutional model. In so doing, we provide the first formal account of the electronic institution concept in a rigorous and unambiguous way

Immunostaining for allatotropin and allatostatin-A and -C in the mosquitoes Aedes aegypti and Anopheles albimanus

Confocal laser-scanning microscopy was used to carry out a comparative study of the immunostaining for three families of neuropeptides, viz., allatostatin-A (AS-A), allatostatin-C (AS-C) and allatotropin (AT), in adult female mosquitoes of Aedes aegypti and Anopheles albimanus. The specific patterns of immunostaining for each of the three peptides were similar in both species. The antisera raised against AT, AS-A, and AS-C revealed intense immunoreactivity in the cells of each protocerebral lobe of the brain and stained cells in each of the ventral ganglia and neuronal projections innervating various thoracic and abdominal tissues. Only the AS-A antiserum labeled immunoreactive endocrine cells in the midgut. The distribution of the peptides supports the concept that they play multiple regulatory roles in both species

Aportes desde la Educación Religiosa en la construcción del sentido de vida de los estudiantes de algunas instituciones del municipio de Medellín

El presente trabajo pretende indagar y ofrecer una interpretación de los aportes que la Educación Religiosa Escolar (ERE) facilita en la construcción del sentido de vida de los estudiantes que forman parte del sistema de Educación Media. Aspectos como el sentido de vida, en sus formas y expresiones, y la enseñabilidad de la ERE son variables que se analizan desde la perspectiva de las lógicas de la clase y los propósitos de los docentes en las perspectivas formativas del área. Así mismo, las respuestas de parte de estudiantes, seleccionados de manera aleatoria, y las comprensiones de sus docentes, han permitido encontrar razones importantes para pensar que desde la educación religiosa escolar se genera una construcción del sentido de vida acorde con la visión del mundo propia de cada estudiante.This paper intends to investigate and offer an interpretation of the contributions that School Religious Education (ERE) facilitates in the construction of the sense of life of the students that are part of the system of Middle Education. Aspects such as the meaning of life, in its forms and expressions, and the teaching of the ERE are variables that are analyzed from the perspective of class logic and the purposes of teachers in the formative perspectives of the area. Likewise, the answers on the part of students, selected in a random way, and the understandings of their teachers, have allowed us to find important reasons to think that from the school religious education a construction of the sense of life is generated in accordance with the vision of the own world of each student
