The pronoun is one of the parts of speech which has been studied from different analytical standpoints. I have attempted to show that the pronoun is a unit whose meaning is esentially pragmatic, i.e. it has discoursive implications. At the syntactic level, it has a replacive function. It can substitute a noun, and adjective, and adverb, or a verb. It is a mechanism of the language-system at the textual level

La creación de nuevos operadores discursivos pasa en ocasiones por la existencia de construcciones que van fijándose y desarrollando un contenido procedimental específico. Este trabajo se detiene en la forma aunque sea, que mantiene aún hoy su valor como estructura concesiva libre, como construcción escalar cuando introduce un complemento y como operador discursivo. Los casos intermedios nos muestran la vitalidad del discurso y nos alientan a avanzar en la delimitación de la macrosintaxis.The formation of new discursive operators sometimes involves the existence of constructions that are being fixed and developing a specific procedural content. This work focuses on the form aunque sea, which still maintains its function as a free concession structure, as a scalar construction when it introduces a complement, and as a discursive operator. Enunciación, aserción y modalidad, tres clásicos

Enunciación, modalidad y aserción son conceptos que aluden a facetas distintas del acto de comunicar. Locutor y enunciador deben repartirse estas funciones del siguiente modo: las dos primeras corresponden al locutor, y la última el enunciador. Asimismo, para marcar todo este espacio periférico que rodea al contenido transmitido, a la oración en sí con su estructura verbal, aparecen diversas estructuras sintácticas hasta ahora no consideradas. Así, realizan las funciones atribuibles al locutor el complemento de modalidad, el de enunciación, la reformulación, o el marcador de adecuación enunciativa. Son expresión del enunciador el complemento locutivo, el complemento de aserción y el discurso referido.Enunciation, modality and assertion are three concepts that refer to different aspects of communication. Speaker and enunciator must be assigned these functions as follows: The first two are the speaker’s, and the third one is the enunciator’s. In addition, to signal all this peripheral domain round the transmitted content, the sentence itself with its verbal structure, various syntactic structures emerge (not considered before). Thus, modality, enunciation, reformulating complements as well as statement adjustment marker are attributed to the speaker. This article aims to politeness in Spanish question time. In these, the norm is the conflict, and the impoliteness is normal to the members of the opposition. The government has to protect their face and be collaborative. In these interactions, with a fixed structure, indirect forms are mixed to direct attacks. These attacks have different weight according to the politicians.En este artículo nos acercamos al comportamiento de la cortesía en las preguntas orales del Parlamento español. En ellas lo habitual es el enfrentamiento, creando una descortesía normativa de parte de la oposición. El gobierno, por su parte, debe defender su imagen y ser colaborativo. En estas interacciones, de estructura perfectamente fijada, se mezclan formas indirectas con ataques directos, en diferente grado según los participantes

Ideología e imagen: la ocultación en la prensa de la violencia social o lo políticamente correcto

Lo llamado políticamente correcto constituye la manifestación de una ideología impuesta por la sociedad. Crea una imagen de ella que se impone en el discurso mediático y político, aunque no trasciende al comportamiento. Por tanto, en el fondo no muestra la ideología real del grupo, sino una imagen ficticia y positiva, en una clara muestra de hipocresía. En este artículo analizamos textos del discurso público, político y mediático, desde una metodología de Análisis del discurso y revisamos el concepto de imagen que está en la base de la teoría de la cortesía verbalWhat is "politically correct", so called, constitutes the manifestation of an ideology which society enforces. It gives rise to an image of that same society within the discourses of media and politics, although never affecting behaviour as such. Thus, at bottom it does not bring to the fore the group's real ideology, but rather an image which is fictitious and positive in a clear show of hypocrisy. From the perspective of the tenets of Discourse Analysis, in this article texts are explored that belong to public, political and media-based discourses, while a re-examination is made of the concept of image that represents the basis of the theory of verbal politeness
