    Teacher's Strategy in Developing Practical Values of the 5th Pancasila Precepts in Thematic Learning in Elementary School

    Purpose of the study: This study aims to find out and describe the strategies that teachers can use to develop the practical value of the five Pancasila precepts in the thematic learning process for first grade students at elementary school 36/I Kilangan. Methodology: This research is a qualitative research with a phenomenological approach. The samples in this study were school principals, teachers, and 2 low grade students at elementary school 36/I Kilangan. Collecting data in this study using observation sheets, interview guide instruments. in this study using the Miles and Huberman analysis technique. Main Findings: The teacher's strategy in instilling the practical values of Pancasila, especially the precepts "Social Justice for All Indonesian People" in thematic learning in class I elementary school 36/I Kilangan shows that the teacher has become a good role model for students, especially in applying a family attitude, balancing rights and obligations , as well as work hard. The teacher uses several strategies in its implementation. Novelty/Originality of this study: The novelty of this study is knowing the teacher's strategy in instilling the practical values of the Pancasila precept "Social Justice for All Indonesian People" in thematic learning at elementary school 36/I Kilangan. Teachers use character-based learning strategies such as the PAIKEM strategy, cooperative learning and inquiry, as well as various lectures to familiarize students with always reading and discussing

    Discipline is the attitude of a person who is in accordance with the rules or regulations that apply both arising from his self-awareness and because of sanctions or punishments that have been applied so as to create order and regularity. This study uses a descriptive method with a quantitative approach which aims to analyze information about the description of the disciplined attitudes of class X MIPA students at SMA Negeri 8 Muaro Jambi for the 2020 academic year. The data was tested using the SPSS application. Based on descriptive statistical analysis, it was obtained that the students' discipline attitude was not good in class and outside class.     Gender analysis in measurement materials: Critical thinking ability and science processing skills

    This study aims to determine whether there is a relationship and difference between science process skills and students' critical thinking skills based on gender. This type of research is descriptive quantitative research. The instruments used observation sheets and essay test questions. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling with samples of 90 students. The data analysis technique used by the researcher was descriptive statistics of Pearson Correlation and ANOVA tests. The results obtained were that the science process skills of students at SMPN 2 Batanghari were classified as good and dominated by female students with a percentage of 80.4%. Critical thinking skills were dominated by female students with a percentage of 32.6% (very critical). Then, there was a significant relationship between science process skills and students' critical thinking skills. Then, in the ANOVA test, male and female students' p-values of science process skills and critical thinking skills were less than 0.05. Therefore, there was a difference between the scientific process and the critical thinking skills of female and male students. This research is expected to contribute to schools and further research to improve learning methods that support critical thinking and science process skills

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat perbandingan motivasi belajar siswa kelas XI dan kelas XII. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif deskriptif dengan menggunakan instrumen berupa angket motivasi belajar siswa. Sampel penelitian ini yaitu siswa kelas XI MIPA 2 dan kelas XII MIPA 2 di SMA NEGERI 1 MUARO JAMBI tahun ajaran 2020/2021 yang berjumlah 60 responden. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan peneliti yaitu menggunakan software IBM SPSS 23, dengan melakukan Uji Normalitas, Uji Homogenitas, dan Uji Perbandingan. Data yang didapatkan peneliti telah terdistribusi normal dan homogen, sehingga peneliti dapat menggunakan uji perbandingan. Adapun hasil uji perbandingan ini yaitu nilai signifikan pengujian dua arah Sig.(2-tailed) sebesar 0,207 pada Equal variance not assumed, dan nilai signifikan pengujian dua arah Sig.(2-tailed) untuk Equal variance assumed dan nilai untuk Equal variance not assumed sebesar 0,208. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan tidak terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan pada hasil motivasi belajar siswa antara siswa kelas XI MIPA 2 dan XII MIPA 2

    Pengaruh Kemandirian Terhadap Prestasi Belajar Siswa Kelas XI di SMA Negeri 11 Kota Jambi

    This study aims to determine the relationship and effect of independent learning on student achievement in physics class XI MIA at SMA Negeri 11 Kota Jambi. This research uses quantitative research and the method used in this research is the survey method. The data analysis technique used the SPSS application, by performing the normality test, correlation test, and simple linear regression test. From the results of the tests that have been done, it is obtained that the Pearson correlation is 0.936 which means that it is included in the very strong correlation category. Then, based on the simple linear regression test, the regression equation Y = -52,165 + 1,283 X was obtained. From the analysis, it was found that t hit = 18,420 and t table = (0.05 / 2: nk-1) = (0.05 / 2: 50-1-1) = 2,011. From these results it can be seen that the t hit> t table, namely 18,420> 2,011. So, it can be concluded that learning independence in physics has an effect on student achievement. Based on the results of the research that has been done, it can be concluded that the independent attitude of students in learning physics has a correlation and is very influential on student achievement, especially in the cognitive aspect

    This study aims to determine the relationship between teacher teaching skills and students' interest in learning physics at senior high school 2 Batanghari. The method used is the quantitative method, the type of research used is correlational, the sample in this study is teachers and students of senior high school 2 Batanghari, the instrument used is a questionnaire, and the data analysis technique is descriptive and inferential statistics. The results of this study indicate that the teaching skills of physics teachers and the learning interests of physics students have a significant relationship.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan keterampilan mengajar guru dengan minat belajar siswa fisika  SMA N 2 Batanghari. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode kuanlitatif, jenis penelitian yang dipakai yaitu korelasional, sampel pada penelitian ini guru dan siswa SMA N 2 Batanghari, instrument yang digunakan berupa angket, dan Teknik analis datanya yaitu statistic deskriptif dan inferensial.     Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan keterampilan proses sains siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 12 Kabupaten Muaro Jambi dengan melakukan kegiatan praktikum fisika materi cermin cekung. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif deskriptif. sampel yang digunakan sebanyak 30 siswa SMP Negeri 12 Muaro Jambi. Data penelitian ini menggunakan instrumen berupa lembar observasi yang sudah divalidasi oleh validator. Data dikumpulkan dengan teknik total sampling yang kemudian dianalisis menggunakan statistik deskriptif. Indikator yang digunakan ada 6 indikator keterampilan proses sains dasar yaitu; observasi, komunikasi, klasifikasi, prediksi, mengukur, dan menyimpulkan. Hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa siswa sudah tergolong baik dan terampil dalam melakukan mengobservasi, mengkomunikasi, mengklasifikasi, memprediksi, mengukur, dan menyimpulkan. Hasil presentase yang diperoleh yaitu; indikator observasi diperoleh nilai rata-rata 22,7 (Baik), indikator komunikasi diperoleh sebesar 5,67 (Baik), indikator klasifikasi diperoleh sebesar 3,03 (Baik), indikator prediksi diperoleh sebesar 2,76 (Baik), indikator mengukur diperoleh sebesar 8,63 (Baik), dan indikator menyimpulkan diperoleh sebesar 16,67 (Baik)

    Analysis of Science Laboratory Management to Support Science Learning: A Systematic Review

    Purpose of the study: An Merdeka curriculum requires students to be able to acquire scientific attitudes and process skills in science learning. Laboratory management is very important in supporting science learning. This research aims to analyze the management of science laboratories to support science learning. Methodology: This type of research is qualitative research using a systematic literature review method. The population in this study was 60 articles originating from Google Scholar with publications from 2018 to 2023 which were then filtered again and a sample of 18 articles was obtained. The data analysis technique uses the matrix method. Main Findings: Based on the results of a systematic literature review analysis, it is known that laboratory management in several schools has factors inhibiting laboratory management, such as the unavailability of laboratory personnel and technicians, multifunctional laboratory space, allocation of time for laboratory use, and lack of infrastructure in science laboratories. The conclusion in this research is that based on a review of literature studies, it is known that in the management of science laboratories in junior high schools, in some literature there are still inhibiting factors in its management. Novelty/Originality of this study: The novelty in this research is the existence of a literature study which discusses the management of science laboratories in supporting science learning

    Hubungan Motivasi Terhadap Hasil Belajar Fisika Kelas X MIPA di SMAN 1 Kota Jambi

    Tujuan penelitian: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: (1) motivasi belajar siswa kelas X MIPA di SMA N 1 Kota Jambi pada mata pelajaran fisika; (2) hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran fisika kelas X MIPA di SMA N 1 Kota Jambi ; dan (3) hubungan motivasi belajar dengan hasil belajar fisika kelas X MIPA di SMA N 1 Kota Jambi. Metodologi: Metode penelitian ini adalah Mix Methods untuk mencari hasil deskriptif kemudian dilanjutkan dengan uji korelasi sederhana. Sampel dari penelitian ini adalah 57 siswa kelas X MIPA di SMA N 1 Kota Jambi. Temuan utama: Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: (1) motivasi belajar siswa memiliki nilai rata-rata sebesar 98.5063; (2) hasil belajar siswa memiliki nilai rata-rata sebesar 70.1754; dan (3) terdapat hubungan antara motivasi belajar dan hasil belajar siswa dengan nilai korelasi sebesar 0.977 yang masuk dalam kategori cukup kuat..     Analisis Karakter Kerja Keras Siswa Kelas XI IPA Di SMAN 1 Kota Jambi

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat sejauh mana kerja keras belajar siswa IPA di SMA Negeri 1 Kota Jambi dalam proses pembelajaran Fisika. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian survei. Data sampel penelitian yaitu 83 siswa IPA kelas XI di SMAN 1 kota Jambi. Instrumen yang digunakan  peneliti yaitu berupa angket yang berisikan 25 item tentang kerja keras. Data diperoleh dengan cara menyebarkan angket kepada siswa IPA kelas XI di SMA Negeri 1 kota Jambi, kemudian data yang terkumpul akan diolah dan dianalisis dengan menggunakan program IBM SPSS Statistic 22.0. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh menunjukkan bahwa kerja keras belajar siswa IPA kelas XI SMA Negeri 1 Kota Jambi pada mata pelajaran Fisika menunjukkan bahwa respons siswa lebih dominan dalam kategori baik dengan persentase 66,3% (55 dari 83 siswa). Hasil dari penelitian ini diharapkan dapat berkontribusi untuk meningkatkan kerja keras belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran fisika
