    This study aims to describe students' intensive reading skills in terms of high, medium and low learning interest in grade III SDN 62 Singkawang. This type of research is qualitative descriptive research. The collection technique uses written test techniques, questionnaires and documentation. Data Analysis is Data Reduction, Data Presentation and Conclusions. The results of this study are 1) Students who have a high interest in learning have skills Sufficient intensive reading, 2) Students who have sufficient interest in learning have sufficient intensive reading skills, 3) Students who have low interest in learning have sufficient intensive reading skills. It can be concluded that students' interest in learning can greatly affect the success in students' intensive reading skills.     HUBUNGAN EFIKASI DIRI DENGAN HASIL BELAJAR RANAH KOGNITIF IPA SISWA KELAS IV SD NEGERI 88 SINGKAWANG

    ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan efikasi diri dengan hasil belajar ranah kognitif IPA siswa kelas IV SD Negeri 88 Singkawang. Pada penelitian yang digunakan yaitu penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain penelitian asosiatif yaitu hubungan antara variabel bebas dan terikat. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas IV A, IV B, dan IV C SD Negeri 88 Singkawang. Sampel diambil menggunakan teknik purposive sampling, adapun sampel penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas IV A. Hasil penelitian menyebutkan bahwa: (1) Efikasi diri siswa tergolong sedang dengan rata-rata keseluruhan 61,17; (2) Hasil belajar ranah kognitif IPA siswa tergolong tinggi dengan rata-rata keseluruhan 65,47; (3) Terdapat hubungan efikasi diri dengan hasil belajar ranah kognitif IPA siswa kelas IV SD Negeri 88 Singkawang dengan koefisien determinan sebesar 34,81%, t_hitung sebesar 3,58 dan nilai koefisien korelasi (r_s) 0,59. Kata kunci: efikasi diri; hasil belajar ranah kognitif ABSTRACTThis study aims to describe the relationship between self-efficacy and learning outcomes in the science cognitive domain of fourth grade students of SD Negeri 88 Singkawang. The type of research used is quantitative research with associative research design, namely the relationship between independent and dependent variables. The population in this study were all grade IV A students of SD Negeri 88 Singkawang. Samples were taken using purposive sampling technique. The results of the study concluded that: (1) There was a positive relationship between self-efficacy and learning outcomes in the science cognitive domain of fourth grade students of SD Negeri 88 Singkawang, based on the results of self-efficacy calculations, it was classified as moderate with an overall average of 61.17; (2) There are learning outcomes in the science cognitive domain of fourth grade students of SD Negeri 88 Singkawang; (3) There is a relationship between self-efficacy and cognitive learning outcomes of fourth grade students of SD Negeri 88 Singkawang with a determinant coefficient of 34.81%, t_count of 3.58 and the value of the correlation coefficient (r_s) of 0.59. Keywords: self-efficacy; cognitive domain learning outcome

    Pengaruh Model Inkuiri Terbimbing Berbasis Lingkungan Terhadap Keterampilan Proses Sains Siswa Kelas V dalam Pembelajaran IPA di SDN 12 Singkawang

    . This research aims to determine the effect of an environmentally based guided inquiry model on students' science process skills. Quasi Experimental research was conducted with a Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design- nonequivalent control group. Saturated sampling technique was used to determine the treatment class, namely class VA as the control class and class VB as the experimental class. Data collection was carried out using a written test in the form of short answer questions. For the data results obtained by the experimental class, the average pre-test score was 56 and the post-test score was 70. Meanwhile, the data results obtained by the control class had an average pre-test score of 52 and post-test score 58. Based on statistical tests using the SPSS test. effect size (ES), probability value (significance) is 0.89, so the Ho hypothesis is rejected, meaning the guided inquiry model has a significant effect on students' Science Process Skills

    MATHEMATICAL COMMUNICATION ABILITY OF CLASS V SD STUDENTS ON FLAT BUILDING MATERIALS VIEWED FROM GENDER

    This study aims to describe the mathematical communication abilities of fifth grade students on the material of flat shapes in terms of the gender of students at SDN 84 Singkawang. The research used is descriptive quantitative research. The population of this study was the fifth grade students at SDN 84 Singkawang consisting of VA and VB classes, which consisted of 44 students. The data collection technique used was the test technique and the data analysis technique used was quantitative descriptive analysis with percentages. The results showed that mathematical communication skills in terms of gender where the mathematical communication skills of fifth grade male students in solving problems, subjects with high abilities were able to fulfill all indicators of students' mathematical communication abilities. Subjects with moderate ability are less able to explain ideas, everyday situations and mathematical relationships in writing with pictures. While the mathematical communication abilities of fifth grade female students in solving questions on subjects with high abilities were able to fulfill all indicators of students' mathematical communication abilities. Subjects with moderate ability are less able to explain ideas, everyday situations and mathematical relationships in writing with pictures. Meanwhile, subjects with low abilities are less able to explain ideas, everyday situations and mathematical relations in writing with pictures and communicate the conclusions of answers to problems according to the results of the questions. Thus it can be concluded that students' mathematical communication abilities in terms of gender in this study averaged 74% in the moderate category

    This research aims to determine the effect of emotional intelligence on listening skills with the help of audio-visual media for class V students at SDN 92 Singkaawang. The type of research used is quantitative research with correlation methods. The variables used in this research are the independent variable (emotional intelligence) and the dependent variable (listening ability). This research also uses an associative research design, namely the influence between the independent variable and the dependent variable. This research was conducted at SDN 92 Singkawang, Jalan Semai, Gg SD 12, Sungai Garam in the odd semester of the 2023/2024 academic year. The sample used was 29 students. The sampling technique used total sampling. The data analysis technique uses Pearson product moment correlation and the instruments used are emotional intelligence questionnaires and listening tests. The operational definitions used in this research are emotional intelligence, listening ability and non-fiction text material. The research results show (1) the emotional intelligence of class V students at SDN 92 Singkawang is relatively high with an average of 77.72%; (2) emotional intelligence ability is relatively high with an average of 75.8%; (3) there is a significant influence between emotional intelligence and the listening ability of class V students at SD Negeri 92 Singkawang, namely 0.41 or a contribution of 41%

    PENGARUH METODE PEMBELAJARAN QUANTUM TEACHING TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR IPA SISWA PADA MATERI ENERGI DAN PERUBAHANNYA

    ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh model pembelajaran Quantum Teaching terhadap hasil belajar IPA peserta didik kelas IV SDN 05 Twi Mentibar. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode penelitian eksperimen. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah  non equivalent control group design. Teknik yang digunakan dalam pengambilan sampel adalah Sampling Jenuh. Sampel yang diambil pada penelitian ini adalah kelas IV A dan IV B dengan jumlah peserta didik 52 orang. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah uji t dua sampel untuk mengetahui perbedaan dari kedua kelas dan selanjutnya menggunakan rumus effect size untuk melihat seberapa besarapa besar pengaruh metode pembelajaran yang digunakan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: (1) terdapat pengaruh antara kelas yang menggunakan metode pembelajaran Quantum Teaching dengan kelas yang menggunakan metode ceramah, jika dilihat dari hasil perhitungan terhadap hasil belajar kelas eksperimen dengan menggunakan uji T dua sampel menunjukkan bahwa   adalah 5,094 dan   adalah 2,008, diperoleh  yaitu maka diterima dan ditolak, artinya terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar IPA siswa antara kelas yang diberikan metode pembelajaran Quantum Teaching dengan metode ceramah; (2) metode pembelajaran Quantum Teaching berpengaruh tinggi terhadap hasil belajar IPA Siswa dengan menggunakan rumus effect size dengan nilai 2,11; (3) terdapat pengaruh aktivitas siswa yang tinggi dengan menggunakan metode Quantum Teaching dengan menggunakan rumus perhitungan rata-rata persentase pertemuan pertama dan kedua didapat hasil 74,177. Kata Kunci: model pembelajaran quantum teaching; hasil belajar IPA; materi energi dan perubahannya. ABSTRACTThis study aims to examine the effect of the Quantum Teaching learning model on the science learning outcomes of fourth grade students at SDN 05 Twi Mentibar. The type of research used is quantitative research with experimental research methods.  The research design used was a non-equivalent control group design.  The technique used in sampling is Saturated Sampling.  The sample to be taken in this study is class IV A and IV B with a total of 52 students.  The data analysis technique used in this study is a two-sample t-test to determine the difference between the two classes and then use the effect size formula to see how much influence the learning method used is.  The results of the study showed: (1) there is an influence between the class that uses the Quantum Teaching learning method and the class that uses the lecture method, when viewed from the results of the calculation of the learning outcomes of the experimental class using the two-sample T test, it shows that t_count is 5.094 and t_table is 2.008, obtained  t_hitung>t_table is 5,094>2,008 then H_a is accepted and H_o is rejected, it means that there are differences in students' science learning outcomes between classes given the Quantum Teaching learning method and the lecture method; (2) the Quantum Teaching learning method has a high effect on students' science learning outcomes by using the effect size formula with a value of 2.11;  (3) there is a high influence of student activity using the Quantum Teaching method by using the formula for calculating the average percentage of the first and second meetings, the results are 74,177.  Keywords: quantum teaching learning model; science learning outcomes; chapter energy and its form

    ABSTRAKPenelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya hasil belajar peserta didik kelas III di SDN 23 Singkawang pada mata pelajaran IPA materi Perubahan Wujud Benda. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui perbedaan dan seberapa besar Pengaruh Model Pembelajaran Inkuiri Terbimbing Berbantuan Media Pembelajaran Konkret Terhadap Materi Perubahan Wujud Benda peserta didik kelas III. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SDN 23 Singkawang. Jenis penelitiannya yaitu kuantitatif eksperimen dengan metode nonequivalent control group design. Populasi penelitian ini seluruh peserta didik kelas III SDN 23 Singkawang, dan sampel peserta didik kelas III C berjumlah 28 peserta didik yang menggunakan teknik pengambilan sampel berupa purposive sampling.  Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa :   (1) Adanya perbedaan hasil belajar IPA materi perubahan wujud benda pada ranah kognitif  peserta didik  antara kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol (2) Model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing berbantuan media pembelajaran konkret memberikan  pengaruh yang tinggi terhadap hasil belajar IPA materi perubahan wujud benda pada ranah kognitif peserta didik sebesar 1,21 (kriteria tinggi). Sehingga dapat disimpulkan model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing berbantuan media pembelajaran konkret memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap hasil belajar kognitif pada pembelajaran IPA peserta didik kelas III SDN 23 Singkawang. Kata kunci: model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing; media konkret; hasil belajar. ABSTRACTThis research was motivated by the problem of the low of SDN 23 Singkawang 3rd grade students learning outcomes  at Science subject about changes of state. The purpose of this study was to determine the difference and how much the effect of the Guided Inquiry Learning Model assisted by Concrete Learning Media on the Material Changes in the Form of Objects of grade III students. This research was conducted at SDN 23 Singkawang. The type of research is quantitative experiment with the method of nonequivalent control group design. The population of this study were all grade III students of SDN 23 Singkawang, and a sample of grade III C students totaling 28 students who used a sampling technique in the form of purposive sampling. The results showed that: (1) There are differences in science learning outcomes in the material of changes in the form of objects in the cognitive domain of students between experimental classes and control classes analyzed using the mann-whitney u-test test with tabel> hitung which is 9.013>3.528; (2) The guided inquiry learning model assisted by concrete learning media has a high effect on the science learning outcomes of material changes in the form of objects in the cognitive domain of students by 1.21 (high criteria). So it can be concluded that the guided inquiry learning model assisted by concrete learning media has a significant influence on cognitive learning outcomes in science learning for grade III students of SDN 23 Singkawang. Keywords: guided inquiry learning model; concrete media; learning outcomes

    THE RELATIONSHIP OF LEARNING HABITS WITH STUDENTS' COGNITIVE AREA LEARNING OUTCOMES IN CLASS IV PPKN SDN 03 SINGKAWANG

    This study aims to: 1) describe the study habits of fourth grade students at SDN 03 Singkawang; 2) Describe the cognitive domain learning outcomes of fourth grade students at SDN 03 Singkawang; 3) determine the relationship between study habits and learning outcomes of fourth grade students at SDN 03 Singkawang. The research method is correlational or relationship with a quantitative approach. The sample of this study was students of class IV A and IV B at SDN 03 Singkawang with 24 students for class IV A. The technique used was the purposive sampling technique. The 5% (0.05) significant level data used was the normality test using the Chi square formula. The results showed; 1) study habits in the medium category as many as 24 students with a percentage of 69%; 2) Learning outcomes in the cognitive domain with a good category were 11 students with a percentage of 70%; 3) There is a relationship between study habits and learning outcomes in the cognitive domain with the criteria for the strength of the relationship in the fairly strong category with a correlation coefficient of 0.40. Learning habits provide a determinant coefficient of 16% of learning outcomes in the cognitive domain and the difference of 84% is influenced by other factors. Thus, it can be concluded that if students' learning habits are high, the higher the cognitive domain learning outcomes. On the other hand, the lower the student's study habits, the lower the student's cognitive domain learning outcomes
