2017 Pattern Research Project Ria John - Mughal Art The Pattern Research Project involves research and analysis of contemporary patterns found in the textiles and wallcoverings of the built interior environment. Patterns use motif, repetition, color, geometry, craft, technology, and space to communicate place, time, and concept. Through this research and analysis, built environments - their designers, occupants, construction, and context - can be better understood. Ria John, VCU Interior Design BFA 2020, selected the Mughal Art for the 2017 Pattern Research Project. The text below is excerpted from the student’s work: “The pattern is a combination of lattice and flowers. The motifs woven on this pattern are floral motifs inspired by Islamic Art. Most of the patterns woven are flowers, leaves and animals. This form of pattern evolved when the Mughals invaded India. With the invasion, there was an emergence of Islamic art and architecture influence in India which is the reason for these motifs. These patterns were woven on mainly sarees which was intended to be used by women, but these patterns were also used on carpets, curtains, wall hangings, cushion covers, sarees in the present times but in the past, during the rule of Mughal Emperor Akbar, these patterns were used in shields, turban, architecture, garments, furniture etc. This pattern has been woven on the silk cloth. Mughal inspired patterns have evolved over time from the past, although they still use the traditional Mughal inspired designs but now they also use Hindu gods in the patterns.”https://scholarscompass.vcu.edu/prp/1007/thumbnail.jp

Pendampingan Keberlanjutan UMKM dalam Meningkatkan Kesejahteraan Ekonomi di Kecamatan Babelan Kabupaten Bekasi

In this study, we conducted a mini survey and interviews with MSME actors in Babelan District, Bekasi Regency, to identify the challenges they face in understanding and implementing sustainability reporting. The survey revealed several issues commonly encountered by MSMEs in the region regarding sustainability reporting. In response to the identified challenges, we initiated a dissemination activity aimed at enhancing the understanding of MSMEs in Babelan District, Bekasi Regency, regarding sustainability reporting. The method used in this community service is Community Based Research (CBR) using the Forum Group Discussion (FGD) approach in training, mentoring, and consultation. The primary goal of this activity is to provide MSMEs with the necessary tools and knowledge to create sustainability reports that can help them effectively manage their business operations and promote sustainability. By addressing the needs of MSMEs for accessible and relevant sustainability reporting, we aim to contribute to the improvement of economic welfare in Babelan District, Bekasi Regency. Empowering MSMEs with the capacity to embrace responsible business practices can lead to more sustainable and resilient enterprises, benefitting not only the businesses themselves but also the local community and environment. In conclusion, the dissemination of MSME sustainability reporting serves as a critical step towards achieving sustainable and responsible business practices. Pendampingan Kewirausahaan bagi Pelaku UMKM di Kelurahan Jakamulya Kota Bekasi

The real performance faced by most businesses, especially micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in Indonesia, which is most prominent is the low level of productivity, low added value and low product quality. Among the various contributing factors, the low level of mastery of technology and entrepreneurial skills among MSMEs is the issue that is currently surfacing. Therefore, the objectives to be achieved through entrepreneurship training activities for MSME actors in the Jakamulya Village, Bekasi City are to develop and enhance the entrepreneurial spirit of MSME actors, and increase marketing management knowledge of MSME actors. Among the various contributing factors, the low level of mastery of technology and entrepreneurial skills among MSMEs is the issue that is currently surfacing. Partial MSME development so far has not provided maximum results for improving MSME performance

PENGARUH LITARASI KEUANGAN, SIKAP KEUANGAN, KEPRIBADIAN, DAN PENDAPATAN TERHADAP PERILAKU PENGELOLAAN KEUANGAN UMKM FASHION DI KECAMATAN MARPOYAN DAMAI

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh literasi keuangan, sikap keuangan, kepribadian, dan pendapatan terhadap perilaku pengelolaan keuangan pada pelaku UMKM fashion di Kecamatan Marpoyan Damai. Objek penelitian ini adalah pemilik UMKM fashion di Kecamatan Marpoyan Damai sebanyak 33 UMKM, teknik sampel menggunakan teknik sampling purposive. Teknik analisis data dengan regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh kepribadian dan pendapatan terhadap perilaku pengelolaan keuangan, sedangkan literasi keuangan dan sikap keuangan tidak berpengaruh terhadap perilaku pengelolaan keuangan

In general, not all MSMEs are able to prepare financial reports in running their business. On the one hand, company owners want financial statements as a condition for bank credit. The purpose of this service is to provide an understanding of the preparation of financial reports according to accounting standards for MSMEs in Jatiluhur District, Bekasi City. The service method used is Asset Based Community Development (ABCD) through training. The dedication team empowers existing assets in the Jaliluhur Village, especially in managing their financial reports better and more accurately. The results of the dedication are that the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Jatiluhur District, Bekasi City, have not been fully optimal in the use and preparation of financial reports. The results of the training show that many participants initially had limitations in their ability to prepare financial reports properly and correctly. Therefore, continuous assistance and guidance is needed to improve their quality and understanding regarding financial aspects. &nbsp

This final project report is intended to describe the English teaching and learning activities at SD Al-Irsyad Surakarta, and to find out the raised problems with the solutions in the English teaching and learning activities at SD Al-Irsyad Surakarta. It is written based on the job training that has been done from February until April 2006 at SD Al-Irsyad Surakarta. SD Al-Irsyad Surakarta has given the English lesson from first class until sixth class. The English teaching and learning activities at SD Al-Irsyad Surakarta is held every Monday and Wednesday. The methods used in collecting the data in this final project were observation, participation, and interview. The English teaching and learning activities at SD Al- Irsyad Surakarta consist of greeting, explaining materials, exercising, ending the lesson. It is held in the class and LRC room, the activities at the LRC room are watching video and games. The raised problems at the English teaching and learning activities at SD Al- Irsyad Surakarta are uncooperative student, unenthusiastic student, limited facilities, and uncompleted English syllabus. Solution of problems are applying the game method, making the interested of the English teaching and learning activity

This paperdescribes the strengths and weaknesses of Barbara Dawson Smith’s The Rogue Report. The Rogue Report is a novel which tells about the aristocrat society in London. The writer’s purpose of this review is to explore the strengths and weaknesses by analyzing its intrinsic elements, namely theme, characters, and conflicts. The writer used a library research method and structural approach to analyze the intrinsic elements. In addition, the writer also adopted Erich Fromm’s theory, The Art of Loving to examine the theme of the novel, namely Love. Every novel has its own uniqueness, though The Rogue Report has some weaknesses, it is still a good reading because it has a bunch of value of life
