La autoevaluación del desempeño docente es una actividad, que tiene como propósito fundamental el mejoramiento de la calidad del trabajo y desempeño académico de los profesores de las instituciones de educación superior. Desde la perspectiva funcional la evaluación es un proceso de evaluación sistemática orientado a la reflexión y mejora de la calidad de las acciones de los sujetos, de las intervenciones profesionales, del funcionamiento institucional o de las aplicaciones en la realidad. Hay que distinguir la evaluación del control. La acción evaluadora posibilita interpretación de los hechos y el diagnostico real, en la profundidad de los problemas que comprometen a todos los actores evaluados. Es indispensable precisar cuál es la misión educativa específica de la institución y del docente y en ese contexto, cuáles son los conocimientos, capacidades, habilidades y actitudes que corresponden a esas tareas. Su misión es contribuir al mejoramiento académico. Además de la formación de profesionales de alto nivel y la investigación, las instituciones de educación superior deben interactuar con otros actores de la sociedad ecuatoriana, a través de la oferta de servicios. Para garantizar los mejores resultados la universidad debe apoyarse en los procesos de evaluación y seguimiento de la actividad de investigación que incluya el estudio del impacto social que tiene, esto es, el efecto del conocimiento científico y tecnológico generado en las instituciones de educación superior en la sociedad. "In this work, a generalized adaptive control scheme for the global position stabilization of robot manipulators with bounded inputs is proposed. It gives rise to various families of bounded controllers with adaptive gravity compensation. Compared with the adaptive approaches previously developed in a bounded-input context, the proposed scheme guarantees the adaptive regulation objective: globally, avoiding discontinuities in the control expression as well as in the adaptation auxiliary dynamics, preventing the inputs to reach their natural saturation bounds, and imposing no saturation-avoidance restriction on the control gains. Experimental results corroborate the efficiency of the proposed adaptive scheme.

"In this paper, an output-feedback adaptive scheme for the global position stabilization of robot manipulators with bounded inputs is proposed. Compared to the previous output-feedback adaptive approaches developed in a bounded-input context, the proposed free-of-velocity feedback controller guarantees the adaptive regulation objective: globally, avoiding discontinuities throughout the scheme, preventing the inputs to reach their natural saturation bounds, and imposing no saturation-avoidance restriction on the control gains. Moreover, the developed scheme is not restricted to the use of a specific saturation function to achieve the required boundedness, but may involve any one within a set of smooth and non-smooth (Lipschitz-continuous) bounded passive functions that include the hyperbolic tangent and the conventional saturation as particular cases. Experimental results corroborate the efficiency of the proposed scheme.

Output-feedback adaptive SP-SD-Type control with an extended continuous adaptation algorithm for the global regulation of robot manipulators with bounded inputs

"In this work, an output-feedback adaptive SP-SD-type control scheme for the global position stabilization of robot manipulators with bounded inputs is proposed. Compared with the output-feedback adaptive approaches previously developed in a bounded-input context, the proposed velocity-free feedback controller guarantees the adaptive regulation objective globally (i.e. for any initial condition), avoiding discontinuities throughout the scheme, preventing the inputs from reaching their natural saturation bounds and imposing no saturation-avoidance restrictions on the choice of the P and D control gains. Moreover, through its extended structure, the adaptation algorithm may be configured to evolve either in parallel (independently) or interconnected to the velocity estimation (motion dissipation) auxiliary dynamics, giving an additional degree of design flexibility. Furthermore, the proposed scheme is not restricted to the use of a specific saturation function to achieve the required boundedness, but may involve any one within a set of smooth and non-smooth (Lipschitz-continuous) bounded passive functions that include the hyperbolic tangent and the conventional saturation as particular cases. Experimental results on a 3-degree-of-freedom manipulator corroborate the efficiency of the proposed scheme

La cultura afrocolombiana ha estado presente en el Departamento del Chocó desde la época de la colonia. Gracias a la resistencia de la tradición oral, mitos y prácticas colectivas alrededor de la minería de oro siguen manteniendo su vigencia hasta el día de hoy. Siendo la minería la actividad más representativa para la economía del Chocó, sus pobladores siempre se relacionan directamente o indirectamente con esta actividad. La investigación se centra en las prácticas culturales alrededor del oro que tiene la población del Alto San Juan. En el documental audiovisual se expondrán algunas de ellas, el valor no monetario que la raza afro le ha dado al metal y la importancia cultural y social que tiene el elemento en la comunidad.The Afro-Colombian culture has been present in the department of Chocó since colonial times. Thanks to the strength of the oral tradition, myth and collective practices around gold mining still maintain in force until today. Being the most representative mining activity to the economy of Chocó, its people always relate directly or undirectly with this activity. The research focuses on the cultural practices around the gold that the population of the Upper San Juan.
