PESQUISA EMPÍRICA: MÉTODO PROGRESSISTA PARA DESENVOLVER COMPETÊNCIAS DE LIDERANÇA EM ACADÊMICOS DE CIÊNCIAS CONTÁBEIS
A necessidade de adequação dos cursos de Ciências Contábeis para entregar ao mercado, profissionais com competências de liderança, capazes de atender as complexidades apresentadas pelas organizações, nortearam este trabalho que teve como objetivo identificar as contribuições da utilização de pesquisa empírica para desenvolvimento de competência de liderança no curso de Ciências Contábeis. Trata-se de uma pesquisa descritiva utilizando os procedimentos estudo de caso e pesquisa bibliográfica, no qual utilizou-se como amostra os acadêmicos do curso de Ciências Contábeis do ano de 2014/01, matriculados na disciplina Liderança Situacional na Atividade Contábil da UNIR. Os resultados da pesquisa permitem afirmar que o método, apresenta-se como ótima alternativa dentre as metodologias de ensino disponíveis aos docentes das áreas humanas nos cursos de Ciências Contábeis, ressaltando-se como suas contribuições, a capacidade de oportunizar a vivência real no contexto das organizações e possibilitar aos acadêmicos, a capacidade de avaliar criticamente os prós e contras dos comportamentos adotados quando no exercício profissional que demandar competências de líderes
Interference Between The 5d5/2 – 5p3/2 And 5p3/2 – 5s1/2 Coherences (386.4 And 384.1 Thz) In Rb Observed By Ultrafast Four-wave Mixing Spectroscopy

Coherences at 386.2 THz and 384.1 THz, corresponding to the 5d – 5p and 5p – 5s difference frequencies, respectively, have been established in the Rb atom during pump-probe experiments involving pairs of identical ~150 fs pulses produced by a Ti:\chem{Al_2O_3} laser and a Michelson interferometer. The interference between the two coherences within the atom is observed through a parametric four-wave mixing process in Rb and detection of the signal wave intensity at 420 nm. Scanning the time delay between the pump and probe pulses over a 600 ps interval produces a sampling rate over 300 THz and allows for a spectral domain resolution of 0.05 cm to be achieved. The figure at right shows several spectra recorded near 2.1 THz, the (5d – 5p) - (5p – 5s) difference frequency, with varying angle between the pump and probe pulses (i.e., the phase matching angle) and varying Rb background density. A Fano interference window is clearly observed, and analysis of these and similar spectra demonstrates that the amplitude and phase of the coherently-coupled, three Rb state system can be controlled precisely
A Combined Thermal Cycle Software for Welded and Locally Heat Treated 6082 Aluminium Alloys
Denne oppgaven dekker utviklingen av et kombinert termisk syklus-program for sveising og induksjon, Combined Weld and Induction Thermal Cycle software, som brukes til å estimere de termiske syklusene under sveising og lokal varmebehandling etter sveising, LPWHT, ved induksjonsoppvarming av 6082.50-T6 aluminium. Programmet, Combined Weld and Induction Thermal Cycle software, er utviklet i MatLab R2017b ved implementering av analytiske modeller som beskriver de termiske syklusene for sveising og lokal varmebehandling. Den lokale varmebehandlingen etter sveising har som mål å manipulere geometrien til den varmepåvirkede sonen, HAZ, etter sveising av 6082.50-T6 aluminiumkonstruksjoner, for å øke de strukturelle egenskapene. Til slutt blir de termiske syklusene brukt som input til et program for presipitering, flytespenning og arbeidsherding, NaMo, som estimerer de resulterende mekaniske egenskapene etter sveising og LPWHT.
Det utviklede programmet ble kalibrert basert på eksperimentelle data, både fra denne oppgaven og den foregående, og viser en god overensstemmelse med eksperimentelle data. Nettoeffekten for induksjonsoppvarmingen ble bestemt til 1898 W og virkningsgraden lik 0,251, med en diskret varmekildefordeling. Estimatene gjort av det utviklede programmet og NaMo, indikerer at en manipulering av HAZ er mulig. Etter sveising og LPWHT, fulgt av en romtemperaturlagring, RT-storage, på 14 dager, har den estimerte laveste hardheten i HAZ blitt noe redusert. En varmebehandling etter sveising, PWHT, og LPWHT økte den estimerte laveste hardheten med mellom 8,7-31,4 % ved overflaten, mens den estimerte laveste hardheten i midten av tykkelsen på materialet ble redusert. En varmebehandling etter sveising og LPWHT indikerer at ideen om en LPWHT, kan øke de strukturelle egenskapene til sveisede 6082.50-T6 aluminiumkonstruksjoner.This paper covers the development of a Combined Weld and Induction Thermal Cycle software used to estimate the thermal cycles during welding and local post weld heat treatment, LPWHT, by induction heating of 6082.50-T6 aluminium. The Combined Weld and Induction Thermal Cycle software is developed in MatLab R2017b by implementation of analytical models which describe the thermal cycles of welding and LPWHT. The LPWHT by induction heating aims to manipulate the geometry of the heat affected zone, HAZ, after welding of 6082.50-T6 aluminium structures, to increase the structural properties. Lastly, the thermal cycles are used as input to a precipitation, yield strength and work-hardening software, NaMo, which estimates the resulting mechanical properties after welding and LPWHT.
The developed software was calibrated based on experimental data, from both this study and a preceding one, and shows a good correspondence with the experimental data. The net power for the induction heating was found to 1898 W and the efficiency equal to 0.251, with a discrete partial heat source distribution. Predictions indicate that a manipulation of the HAZ is possible. After welding and LPWHT, followed by a room temperature storage, RT-storage, of 14 days, the predicted lowest hardness in the HAZ has slightly decreased. A post weld heat treatment, PWHT, after welding and LPWHT increased the predicted lowest hardness by between 8.7-31.4 % at the surface, while the predicted lowest hardness at the center of the thickness of the material was slightly reduced. The addition of a PWHT indicates that the methodology of a LPWHT could increase the structural properties of welded 6082.50-T6 aluminium structures

Clinical Practice Guidelines for the Management Candidiasis: 2009 Update by the Infectious Diseases Society of America
Guidelines for the management of patients with invasive candidiasis and mucosal candidiasis were prepared by an Expert Panel of the Infectious Diseases Society of America. These updated guidelines replace the previous guidelines published in the 15 January 2004 issue of Clinical Infectious Diseases and are intended for use by health care providers who care for patients who either have or are at risk of these infections. Since 2004, several new antifungal agents have become available, and several new studies have been published relating to the treatment of candidemia, other forms of invasive candidiasis, and mucosal disease, including oropharyngeal and esophageal candidiasis. An Investigation of Job Embeddedness in a Male-Dominated Industry: What Makes Female Employees Stay?

industry, with a focus on how the male-dominated industry can retain its female
employees. Job embeddedness, a theory of employee retention, looks at both
organizational and community embeddedness. In line with researchers call for
studies investigating causal indicators of the construct, the current study
investigated whether the relationship between a set of employee work-related wellbeing
HR practices and turnover intention through organizational embeddedness
would be different for men and women. Furthermore, as the male-domination of
the industry might characterize the organizational climate, perceptions of
discriminatory behavior were addressed. Last, as other factors outside employees’
work can affect their decision to leave, the possible moderating effect of gender was
tested on the community embeddedness and turnover intention relationship. The
data from 132 employees working in the industry revealed non-significant results
with regards to gender as a moderator within the relationship between a set of
employee work-related well-being HR practices and turnover intention through
organizational embeddedness. However, organizational embeddedness was found
to have an indirect effect on the relationship. Through an analysis of qualitative
data, we found differences in employee perceptions of discriminatory behavior,
which indicates that HR practices and the organizational embeddedness construct
may not capture the whole story. Last, the analysis revealed a non-significant
moderation effect by gender on the relationship between community embeddedness
and turnover intention. However, men were found to have higher community
embeddedness than women. Other findings are discussed, as well as theoretical and
practical implications, limitations, and directions for future research.

Energia dal mare: analisi prestazionale di dispositivi per la conversione energetica da moto ondoso in ambiente rilevante
L\u2019attuale scenario energetico globale ed ambientale, focalizzato sempre di pi\uf9 sulla ricerca di soluzioni energetiche sostenibili in grado da rappresentare un\u2019alternativa efficace e conveniente all\u2019utilizzo delle risorse fossili, vede nell\u2019energia dal mare, ed in particolare del moto ondoso, una risorsa energetica molto interessante, visto l\u2019enorme potenziale di cui dispone. Tuttavia, la grande variabilit\ue0 del fenomeno e l\u2019estrema complessit\ue0 ed aggressivit\ue0 dell\u2019ambiente ove si intende operare rende l\u2019individuazione di una tecnologia efficiente, robusta, replicabile ed a basso costo una sfida estremamente impegnativa. Di fatto, nonostante molte soluzioni siano state proposte nel corso degli anni, tutt\u2019oggi non vi \ue8 una tecnologia che riesca a soddisfare appieno i requisiti di affidabilit\ue0 ed economicit\ue0 necessari ad una naturale affermazione sul mercato.
In questo contesto il presente lavoro ha come obiettivo l\u2019analisi di dispositivi di conversione energetica del tipo point absorber e lo sviluppo di una infrastruttura dedicata alla sperimentazione in ambiente significativo ed \ue8 articolato in diverse attivit\ue0 quali dimensionamento e progettazione, modellazione numerica, attivit\ue0 sperimentali.
In particolare, nel capitolo 4 viene riportata l\u2019attivit\ue0 svolta in merito al dispositivo di conversione da moto ondoso chiamato SeaSpoon, sviluppato dal Thermochemical Power Group del Dipartimento DIME dell\u2019Universit\ue0 degli Studi di Genova. Sono state condotte diverse campagne sperimentali e sono stati sviluppati diversi codici di calcolo al fine di valutare le prestazioni potenziali del dispositivo in diverse condizioni marine, equipaggiandolo con diverse tipologie di profili.
La ricerca sulle tematiche della conversione dell\u2019energia da moto ondoso ha portato allo sviluppo del progetto SeaWHAM, illustrato nei capitoli 5 e 6, il cui scopo \ue8 stato quello di progettare, realizzare e caratterizzare un generatore di onda artificiale installato su banchina connessa al mare aperto che consente dunque di eseguire test in ambiente controllato ma significativo (facility unica in Europa), oltre alla progettazione, l\u2019installazione e campagna sperimentale su un sistema di conversione energetico da moto ondoso del tipo \u201cpoint absorber\u201d in grado di convertire l\u2019energia delle onde in altre forme, quali energia idraulica, pneumatica ed elettrica: si \ue8 quindi potuto caratterizzare sperimentalmente l\u2019intero sistema integratoThe current global and environmental energy scenario, increasingly focused on the search for sustainable energy solutions able to represent an effective and convenient alternative to the use of fossil fuels, considers the energy from the sea, and in particular from the waves, a very interesting resource, thanks to its enormous potential.
However, the great variability of the phenomenon and the complex and harsh environment where it is intended to operate makes the identification of an efficient, robust, replicable and low-cost technology extremely challenging. In fact, although many solutions have been proposed over the years, today there is not a technology that is able to fully satisfy the requirements of reliability and low costs necessary for market success.
In this context the present work aims at analysis of point absorber type wave energy converters and the development of a facility dedicated to experimental campaign in relevant environment, compassing in various activities such as dimensioning and design, numerical modelling, experimental activities.
Chapter 4 shows the activity carried out regarding the wave energy converter called SeaSpoon, developed by the Thermochemical Power Group of the DIME Department of the University of Genoa. Several experimental campaigns have been carried out and different calculation codes have been developed in order to evaluate the potential performance of the device in different marine conditions, equipped with different types of profiles.
Such technology has led to the development of the SeaWHAM project, illustrated in chapters 5 and 6, whose purpose was to design, implement and characterize an artificial wave generator installed on a quay connected to the open sea, to enable tests in a controlled but relevant environment (unique facility in Europe). Furthermore the project targeted the design, installation and experimental campaign on a integrated system able to convert the wave power (caught thanks to a "point absorber" wave energy converter) in other forms, such as hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical energy, with experimental characterisation of the entire efficiency chain
Koste hva det koste vil: Reaksjoner på strømkrisen og tilhørende tiltak - En netnografisk studie av kommentarfeltene på statsministerens kontor sin Facebook-side
I 2020 var strømprisene på Nord Pool-børsen 11,6 øre per kilowattime i gjennomsnitt, den laveste prisen per kilowattime registrert noensinne. I 2021 steg prisen til en historisk høy 63,4 øre per kilowattime. Årsakene til prisstigningen er mange. De økte strømprisene og regjeringens støtteordninger skapte et enormt engasjement hos det norske folk. Mange tyr til sosiale medier, eksempelvis Facebook, hvor det skrives tusenvis av kommentarer på statsministerens kontor sin Facebook-side. Formålet med denne masteroppgaven er å besvare følgende problemstilling:
«Hvilke tiltak ble iverksatt av regjeringen under strømkrisen for perioden 2021-2022, og hvordan reagerte folk på Facebook som følge av tiltakene»?
Problemstillingen besvares gjennom en kvalitativ tilnærming med netnografi som metode. Netnografi brukes for å studere sosiale interaksjoner og samfunn på internett. Målet med metoden er å forstå og representere nettbaserte sosiale opplevelser. Her benytter jeg meg av tre ulike Facebook-innlegg og tilhørende kommentarfelter fra statsministerens kontor sin Facebook-side. Datamaterialet kategoriseres i samsvar med ENCHANT-protokollen, et EU-finansiert prosjekt som tar sikte på å støtte energiomstillingen ved å teste virkningen av intervensjoner som påvirker energiforbrukeratferd i storskala over hele Europa. Oppgaven skrives selvstendig med tilknytning til prosjektet slik at mine funn kan brukes der. Funnene fra analysen diskuteres opp mot relevant teori på sosial aktivisme, energi, motstand, identitet, bærekraft og sosial aksept.
Diskusjonen av analysens funn opp mot relevant teori viser at folk reagerer i hovedsak med frustrasjon, sinne og misnøye over strømsituasjonen. Dette kan knyttes til hvordan folk mister tilgang på rimelig og stabil pris, en manglende ivaretakelse av samfunnet i tråd med sosial og økonomisk bærekraft, dårlig samarbeid mellom folket og regjeringen, samt regjeringens håndtering av strømkrisen og deres evne til å utvikle tiltak. Folk i kommentarfeltene viser til en utbredt politikerforakt, identitetsrelaterte perspektiver og sosiale ulikhet som følge av strømkrisen. Statsministeren og regjeringen anses som hovedansvarlige, men folk trekker også frem Nord Pool, ACER, EØS-avtalen og Parisavtalen. Ingen av de relevante aktørene stilles i et godt lys, da folk ønsker en bedre håndtering av strømkrisen. I kommentarfeltene blir det foreslått bedre støtteordninger, reforhandling av avtaler, nyvalg av regjeringen, like strøm- og nettleiepriser over hele landet, samt et pristak på strømmen.In 2020, electricity prices on the Nord Pool exchange were 0,12 NOK per kilowatt hour on average, the lowest price per kilowatt hour ever recorded. In 2021, the price rose to a historic high of 0,63 NOK per kilowatt hour. There are many reasons for the price increase. The increased electricity prices and the government's support schemes created enormous engagement among the Norwegian people. Many turn to social media, for example Facebook, where thousands of comments are written on the Prime Minister's office's Facebook page. The purpose of this master's thesis is to answer the following question:
"Which measures were implemented by the government during the electricity crisis for the period 2021-2022, and how did people react on Facebook as a result of the measures"?
The problem is answered through a qualitative approach using netnography as a method. Netnography is used to study social interactions and communities on the internet. The aim of the method is to understand and represent online social experiences. Here I make use of three different Facebook posts and associated comment fields from the Prime Minister's office. The data is categorized in accordance with the ENCHANT protocol, an EU-funded project that aims to support the energy transition by testing the impact of interventions that influence energy consumption behavior on a large scale across Europe. The assignment is written independently in relation to the project. The findings from the analysis are discussed with theory on social activism, energy, resistance, identity, sustainability and social acceptance.
The discussion of the analysis's findings against relevant theory shows that people mainly react with frustration, anger and dissatisfaction with the electricity situation. This can be linked to how people lose access at a reasonable and stable price, a failure to look after society in line with social and economic sustainability, poor cooperation between the people and the government, as well as the government's handling of the electricity crisis. People in the comment fields refer to a widespread disdain for politicians, identity-related perspectives and social inequality as a result of the electricity crisis. The prime minister and the government are seen as primarily responsible, but people also highlight Nord Pool, ACER, the EEA agreement and the Paris agreement. None of the relevant actors are portrayed in a good light, as people want a better handling of the electricity crisis. In the comment fields, better support schemes, renegotiation of agreements, new government elections, equal electricity and grid rental prices throughout the country, as well as a price cap on electricity are proposed

Hensikten med denne oppgaven har vært å undersøke ansattes opplevelser av tilbakemeldingskulturen på arbeidsplassen. Oppgaven undersøker deltakernes opplevelser av ulike typer tilbakemeldinger. Der det setter fokus på tilbakemeldingene som oppleves nødvendige, nyttige og verdifulle for seg selv, arbeidsmiljøet og tilbakemeldingskulturen. I tillegg undersøker oppgaven lederens coachende tilnærming til tilbakemeldinger, ettersom det er en viktig del av både tilbakemeldingskulturen og rollen den spiller for medarbeidernes evne til selvledelse. Studien søker derfor å svare på problemstillingen: «Hvordan opplever ansatte tilbakemeldingskulturen på arbeidsplassen?», samt forskningsspørsmålet «Hvordan kan lederens coachende tilnærming til tilbakemeldinger fremme medarbeideres evne til selvledelse?».
Studien benytter en kvalitativ forskningsmetode med en casestudie-tilnærming, hvor jeg gjennomførte semi-strukturerte intervjuer med en leder og fem medarbeidere fra en bestemt bedrift. Det innsamlede datamaterialet fra intervjuene ble deretter transkribert og analysert gjennom en tematisk analyse. Her identifiserte jeg tre hovedkategorier som belyser deltakernes opplevelser og perspektiver: 1 «Kraften i positive tilbakemeldinger – det er så koselig», 2. «Ubehag og utvikling gjennom tilbakemeldinger – det er ubehagelig, men jeg tåler det» og 3. «Coachende tilnærming til tilbakemeldinger – det er du selv som har svarene».
I diskusjonen ble deltakernes opplevelser diskutert i lys av teori og tidligere forskning. Teorigrunnlaget omhandlet ulike typer tilbakemeldinger, tilbakemeldingskultur, coachende tilnærming, selvledelse og selvbestemmelsesteorien. Diskusjonens hovedpunkter trekker frem viktigheten av positive og konstruktive tilbakemeldinger for personlig og felles vekst. Samtidig hvordan deltakerne opplever dette i tilbakemeldingskulturen på arbeidsplassen. Videre diskuteres lederens coachende tilnærming til tilbakemeldinger i sammenheng med selvledelse og tilbakemeldingskulturen. Til slutt blir tilbakemeldingskulturen sett i lys av selvbestemmelsesteoriens tre grunnleggende behov.
Funnene i studien belyser hvordan positive tilbakemeldinger, konstruktive tilbakemeldinger og coachende tilnærminger spiller hver sin viktige rolle i å fremme personlig og felles utvikling på arbeidsplassen. Det bidrar til å skape en tilbakemeldingskultur som oppleves positiv, trygg og viktig. Den viser også hvordan lederens coachende tilnærming kan fremme selvledelse, og som bidrar til en mer effektiv og komfortabel tilbakemeldingskultur.

The study examines the participants' experiences of various types of feedback. Focusing on those perceived as necessary, useful and valuable for themselves, the work environment and the feedback culture. Additionally, the thesis explores the leader's coaching approach to feedback, as it is an important part of both the feedback culture and its role in enhancing employees' self-leadership abilities. Therefore, the study seeks to answer the research question: "How do employees experience the feedback culture in the workplace?", and the sub-question: "How can the leader's coaching approach to feedback promote employees' self-leadership abilities?".
The study uses a qualitative research method with a case study approach, conducting semi-structured interviews with a leader and five employees from a spesific company. The collected data from the interviews were transcribed and analyzed through a thematic analysis. Three main categories were identified to higlight the participants' experiences and perspectives: 1 "The power of positive feedback - it's so nice", 2. "Discomfort and development through feedback - it's uncomfortable, but I can handle it" and 3. "Coaching approach to feedback - you have the answers yourself".
In the discussion, the participants' experiences were discussed in light of theory and previous research. The theoretical foundation covers various types of feedback, feedback culture, coaching approach, self-leadership and self-determination theory. The main points of the discussion emphasize the importance of positive and constructive feedback for personal and collective growth. And how the participants experience this in the feedback culture at the workplace. Furthermore, the leader's coaching approach to feedback is discussed in relation of self-leadership and the feedback culture. Finally, the feedback culture is viewed through the lens of self-determination theory's three basic needs.
The findings of the study illustrate how positive feedback, constructive feedback and coaching approaches each play an important role in promoting personal and collective development in the workplace. This contributes to creating a feedback culture that is perceived as positive, safe and important. It also shows how the leader's coaching approach can enhance self-leadership, which contributes to a more effective and comfortable feedback culture.
