    Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh keberadaan dan keragaman nilai-nilai budaya yang dimiliki oleh bangsa Indonesia belum optimal dalam upaya pembangunan karakter bangsa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggali, mengkaji dan memperoleh gambaran secara deskriptif tentang proses transformasi nilai-nilai budaya Huyula sebagai upaya pembangunan karakter bangsa di Kota Gorontalo. Pendekatan penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi dan studi literature. Teknik analisis data meliputi pengumpulan data, reduksi, display dan kesimpulan. Temuan penelitian menunjukan bahwa budaya Huyula mengandung nilai-nilai luhur Pancasila dapat dijadikan sebagai sarana pembangunan karakter bangsa di Kota Gorontalo

    Analisis Kesalahan Menyelesaikan Soal- Soal Pecahan BerdasarkanTaksonomi Bloom dan Kemampuan Awal Siswa Kelas V SD Negeri Rappocini

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kesalahan menyelesaikan soal-soal pecahan berdasarkan toksonomi bloom dan kemampuan awal siswa. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah (i) mendeskripsikan kesalahan konseptual dan prosedural dalam menyelesaikan soal-soal pecahan; Dan (ii) mendeskripsikan penyebab terjadinya kesalahan konseptual dan prosedural dalam menyelesaikan soal-soal pecahan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa (i) kesalahan konseptual terjadi pada subjek berkemampuan tinggi dan sedang yaitu salah menggunakan, memanfaatkan, dan memilih prosedur atau operasi tertentu, salah mengaitkan berbagai konsep, salah mengklasifikasi objek-objek menurut sifat-sifat tertentu sesuai dengan konsepnya, dan salah menyatakan ulang sebuah konsep. Kesalahan prosedural yang terjadi pada subjek berkemampuan tinggi dan sedang yaitu salah menggunakan langkah-langkah dalam menyelesaikan soal-soal pecahan, salah memanipulasi langkah-langkah untuk menjawab suatu soal, melakukan penyimpulan tanpa alasan yang benar, serta salah dalam mencermati dan memahami petunjuk tes diagnostik (ii) penyebab terjadinya kesalahan yang dilakukan siswa antara lain adalah siswa kurang teliti membaca dan memahami maksud dari soal sehingga melakukaan kesalahan dalam menuliskan apa yang diketahui dan apa yang ditanyakan, siswa kurang memahami materi pecahan sehingga kurang mampu dalam menyelesaikan soal yang berkaitan dengan materi tersebut, daya ingat siswa terhadap rumus maupun pengertian-pengertian mengenai materi pecahan masih kurang sehingga siswa mengalami kesalahan dalam menyelesaikan soal-soal. Administration, Head of Legal Status and certification of ships, Kasi Kesber, Guard and Patrol, and Kasi Enterprises Lala and Ports and then analyze and process the data .Based on the research and discussion that researchers do in the field, it was found that the execution of tasks of the Head of the Harbor Master in the Issuance of Approval Sail (SPB) At Office Harbor Master in the city of Pekanbaru has not been implemented to the fullest, it is in because of limited support infrastructure in the field, the lack of human resources and lack of awareness of the laws that affect the execution of tasks Harbor Master

    Performance and Carcass Characteristics of Broiler Chickens Fed Various Components of Candlenut Kernel

    One-hundred male broiler chickens (Cobb500) were assigned randomly in a completely randomized design (CRD) into four dietary treatment groups to determine the effects of various components (whole kernel, kernel oil, kernel defatted) of candlenut (Aleurites moluccana) kernel on growth performance, carcass yield, and proximate and fatty acid composition in meat during the grower-finisher stage. Each treatment consisted of 5 replicates with 5 birds for each replications. From 21 to 42 days of age, the birds  were offered either one of the following dietary treatments namely;  Basal diet containing no candlenut kernel (T1), Basal diet containing 2.5% whole candlenut kernel (T2), Basal diet containing 2.5% candlenut kernel oil (T3), and Basal diet containing 2.5% candlenut kernel defatted (T4). The significant difference was determined when the probability level was p<0.05. Birds fed the experimental diets showed no significant difference on growth performance, carcass yield, and proximate and fatty acid compositions in meat. However, birds fed diets containing various components of candlenut had small effect on reducing feed intake, decreasing crude protein and crude fat contents in meat, and increasing total C18:2n-6 and n-6 PUFA. In conclusion, supplementation of various components of candlenut kernel in broiler diet did not improve growth performance, carcass yield, and proximate and fatty acid compositions in meat

    TCP throughput optimization over 802.11 MAC protocol in multi-hop ad-hoc networks.

    The acknowledgment strategy has great potential to increase the TCP throughput when it runs over 802.11 MAC protocol. In particular TCP acknowledgments carry out an extensive number of medium accesses as they compete in the same route as data packets for media. As the load increases, the well-known hidden terminal effects caused by interference between ACK and data packets in MAC layer can degrade TCP performance dramatically if TCP acknowledges every incoming data packets. In this paper, we propose a TCP-MAC interaction strategy which tries to reduce the number of induced ACKs by monitoring the channel condition. To this end, the total collision probability collected along the path in MAC layer is used to properly set the number of the delayed ACKs in TCP. Based on the measured collision probability, TCP sender dynamically adjusts itself to the channel condition by delaying less ACKs in high traffics and more in low traffic conditions. The simulation results show a reasonable tradeoff between performance under moderate and high traffics

    Pemerintah Indonesia, dalam rangka melakukan reformasi regulasi Pemerintah telah memilih mengadopsi metode omnibus law ke dalam sistem hukum nasional. Dengan dibentuknya Undang-undang Nomor 11 Tahun 2020 tentang Cipta Kerja, maka omnibus law telah menjadi kebijakan resmi Pemerintah. Pilihan untuk menggunakan metode omnibus law ke dalam pembentukan peraturan perundang-undangan didasari oleh kesadaran bahwa saat ini produk hukum kita sedang mengalami pembengkakan atau “obesitas regulasi”. Permasalahannya adalah pembentukan peraturan perundang-undangan dengan menggunakan metode omnibus law tidak dikenal di dalam sistem perundang-undangan Indonesia yang diatur dalam Undang-undang Nomor 12 Tahun 2011 tentang Pembentukan Peraturan Perundang-undangan. Untuk itu dalam penelitian ini dikaji tentang penerapan omnibus law di Indonesia dari aspek yuridis, normatif serta kendala- kendala apa saja yang dihadapi dalam penerapannya, dengan menggunakan jenis penelitian hukum normatif atau penelitian perpustakaan serta menggunakan metode pendekatan perundang-undangan (statute approach), pendekatan konseptual (conceptual approach), dan pendekatan historis. Adapun hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa gagasan Omnibus Law dapat diterapkan di Indonesia. Namun, agar penerapannya memiliki legitimasi, maka harus merevisi terlebih dahulu Undang-Undang Nomor 12 Tahun 2011 tentang Pembentukan Peraturan Perundang-undangan juncto Undang-Undang Nomor 15 Tahun 2019 tentang Perubahan atas Undang-Undang Nomor 12 Tahun 2011 tentang Pembentukan Peraturan Perundang-undangan. Terdapat beberapa kendala-kendala yuridis yang akan dihadapi dalam penerapan Omnibus Law Undang-Undang Cipta Kerja, yang apabila tidak segera ditangani dan dicarikan solusinya akan berdampak pada terciptanya ketidakpastian hukum dalam penyelenggaraan pemerintahan serta merugikan masyarakat.Kata kunci: Ketidakpastian hukum;  omnibus law;  penerapa

    Investigation of a Potential Zoonotic Transmission of Orthoreovirus Associated with Acute Influenza-Like Illness in an Adult Patient

    Bats are increasingly being recognized as important reservoir hosts for a large number of viruses, some of them can be highly virulent when they infect human and livestock animals. Among the new bat zoonotic viruses discovered in recent years, several reoviruses (respiratory enteric orphan viruses) were found to be able to cause acute respiratory infections in humans, which included Melaka and Kampar viruses discovered in Malaysia, all of them belong to the genus Orthoreovirus, family Reoviridae. In this report, we describe the isolation of a highly related virus from an adult patient who suffered acute respiratory illness in Malaysia. Although there was no direct evidence of bat origin, epidemiological study indicated the potential exposure of the patient to bats before the onset of disease. The current study further demonstrates that spillover events of different strains of related orthoreoviruses from bats to humans are occurring on a regular basis, which calls for more intensive and systematic surveillances to fully assess the true public health impact of these newly discovered bat-borne zoonotic reoviruses

    Inefficient Processing Time as Hidden Time Loss in Assembly Operations

    Hidden Time Loss (HTL) occurs along the production processes that have a significant effect to productivity. Overall Equipment Efficiency (OEE) is the most popular performance measurement tool used in the production line. However, OEE doesn’t really fit in measuring operation performance of manual assembly process and semi-auto assembly process. In this case, there would be the amount of HTL have occurred along the assembly processes that become critical when to involve high product variety in the same production line. Thus, the purpose of this paper is to introduce Inefficient Processing Time (IPT) as one of the component of Time Loss Measures (TLM) in the manual assembly process and semi-auto assembly process. The structure of IPT is developed through a thorough literature study on manufacturing operations and its performance measures. The IPT structure is validated by using case study at five automotive manufacturing companies. The results show that the IPT can contribute to HTL in the manual assembly process and semi-auto assembly process

    Impact damage resistance and post impact tolerance of optimum banana-pseudo stem fiber reinforced epoxy sandwich structures

    Banana fiber has a high potential for use in fiber composite structures due to its promise as a polymer reinforcement. However, it has poor bonding characteristics with the matrixes due to hydrophobic-hydrophilic incompatibility, inconsistency in blending weight ratio, and fiber length instability. In this study, the optimal conditions for a banana/epoxy composite as determined previously were used to fabricate a sandwich structure where carbon/Kevlar twill plies acted as the skins. The structure was evaluated based on two experimental tests: low-velocity impact and compression after impact (CAI) tests. Here, the synthetic fiber including Kevlar, carbon, and glass sandwich structures were also tested for comparison purposes. In general, the results showed a low peak load and larger damage area in the optimal banana/epoxy structures. The impact damage area, as characterized by the dye penetration, increased with increasing impact energy. The optimal banana composite and synthetic fiber systems were proven to offer a similar residual strength and normalized strength when higher impact energies were applied. Delamination and fracture behavior were dominant in the optimal banana structures subjected to CAI testing. Finally, optimization of the compounding parameters of the optimal banana fibers improved the impact and CAI properties of the structure, making them comparable to those of synthetic sandwich composites
