DEVELOPMENT AND VALIDATION OF HPTLC METHOD FOR THE ANALYSIS OF TOLPERISONE HYDROCHLORIDE IN PHARMACEUTICAL DOSAGE FORM

    Get PDF
A simple, sensitive, rapid and precise high performance thin layer chromatographic method has been developed and validated for the estimation of Tolperisone hydrochloride in bulk and pharmaceutical dosage form. The stationary phase used was silica gel precoated aluminum plate 60F254 plates. The mobile phase used was a mixture of chloroform:acetone:toluene (6:2:2, v/v/v). The detection of spots was carried out at 265 nm. The method was validated in terms of specificity, linearity, precision and accuracy. The calibration curve was found to be linear between 50-600 ng/band. The developed method was subjected for forced degradation studies like acid, alkali, peroxide and thermal stress conditions were performed as per ICH guidelines. The proposed method was suitable for routine quality control analysis of Tolperisone hydrochloride in bulk and pharmaceutical formulation

A New Optimized Reduced Order Model of High-order Discrete Time Systems and Design

    Get PDF
This paper presents a method of designing the Controller for large scale discrete time systems. The Controller is designed via a reduced order model for a given high order system. In the proposed reduction method, the numerator coefficients are obtained using Interpolation criteria while the denominator polynomial is obtained by using, one of the stability preserving methods, the Dominant pole method. An optimised reduced order model is derived with minimum ISE. It has been shown that the control designed for the reduced order model, when applied to the higher order system, improves the performance of the controlled system. The method has been tested by considering typical numerical examples, available in the literature, and the results are found to be satisfactory. Background: Many modalities of keloid treatment have been advocated which have a variable and transient success. There is no universally accepted treatment resulting in permanent cure. Hence there is need for evaluation of better modalities to achieve good cosmetic acceptability. Current study compares the efficacy and safety of intralesional 5-fluorouracil combined with triamcinolone acetonide and triamcinolone acetonide alone in the treatment of keloids. Methods: Cases of clinically diagnosed keloids from South Central Railway Hospital were included in the study. These patients were randomly allocated alternately between group 1 and 2. An interventional and comparative study, comparing the percentage reduction in volume of keloid between both groups after treatment was done. For group 1 intralesional injection 5-fluorouracil 0.9 ml (50 mg/ml) combined with 0.1 ml of triamcinolone acetonide (40 mg/ml) i.e., 45 mg of 5 Fluorouracil was combined with 4 mg of triamcinolone, weekly once for 8 weeks. For group 2 intralesional triamcinolone acetonide 10 mg/ml alone weekly for 8 weeks. Volume of keloid (i.e., (length x breadth x height measured by vernier calipers) before starting treatment and one week after the last injection was compared. percentage reduction in the volume was calculated. Results: The overall therapeutic response in volume reduction in group 1 was found to be better and statistically significant (p value<0.01) compared to group 2.Conclusions: The present study has shown that intralesional 5-FU+TAC is more effective compared to TAC intralesional injection alone

An Enhanced CBC Algorithm for Data Security in the Cloud

    Get PDF
Recent times, Storing data over the cloud has become more common for the reason that the data could be accessed globally .The data being stored on the cloud could involve confidential data, that needs security. The confidential data that is stored on the cloud through the database could be anything like username, email, password etc. This paper presents the idea/implementation of an Enhanced CBC algorithm on the cloud data. Through this cryptography technique the confidential data can be secured and authenticated

Wireless communication is one of the most required technologies by the common man. The strength of this technology is rigorously progressing towards several novel directions in establishing personal wireless networks mounted over on low power consuming systems. The cutting-edge communication technologies like bluetooth, WIFI and ZigBee significantly play a prime role to cater the basic needs of any individual. ZigBee is one such evolutionary technology steadily getting its popularity in establishing personal wireless networks which is built on small and low-power digital radios. Zigbee defines the physical and MAC layers built on IEEE standard. This paper presents a comprehensive survey of literature reported MAC and PHY enhancements of ZigBee and its contemporary technologies with respect to performance, power consumption, scheduling, resource management and timing and address binding. The work also discusses on the areas of ZigBee MAC and PHY towards their design for specific applications

Implementation of Unified Power Quality Conditioner Based on Variable Phase Angle Control Method

This paper investigates the power quality problems which occur frequently in power supply and suggests a method to mitigate the power quality problems by the implementation of UPQC. P-Q problems generally concern with voltage sags/swells and harmonic currents. Custom Power (CP) devices that mitigate these power quality problems have gained more attention in the recent decades. UPQC is Designed, modelled and setup experimentally to mitigate voltage sag/swells and harmonic currents in three phase systems. UPQC consists of Dynamic Voltage Restorer (DVR) and Active Power Filter (APF). UPQC with proposed controller algorithms effectively compensates the sag/swell in supply voltage by keeping the load voltage amplitude at 0.9-1 per unit and eliminates the load current harmonics by keeping supply current at 5% less than of Total Harmonic Distortion, simultaneously.
