Descripción: Administración es un curso del programa de Ciencias Políticas, tiene un carácter teórico-práctico, está dirigido a los alumnos de tercer ciclo y busca desarrollar la competencia general Pensamiento Innovador y específica de Interdisciplinariedad. Inicia al estudiante en el management con enfoque estratégico brindándole herramientas y métodos de la teoría administrativa y la innovación para que, desde sus inicios profesionales, pueda proveer análisis y recomendaciones de creciente necesidad en las esferas gerenciales de nuestro país dada la fuerte presión por el logro de objetivos estratégicos con recursos cada vez más limitados, lo cual exige conocimientos y habilidades en el análisis de la estrategia. Propósito: El curso Administración ha sido diseñado con el propósito de que el alumno adquiera herramientas que le permita analizar y construir estrategias empresariales con base en la teoría administrativa y la innovación. Para lograr ello, se revisarán la teoría y herramientas de administración aplicables al estudio de las decisiones estratégicas empresariales

Formación de docentes de la Institución Educativa Loma Linda en el uso de herramientas tecnológicas para su aplicación en el aula de clase

En este proyecto se diseño una ruta de formación de docentes de la institución educativa Loma Linda en el uso de las TIC, el cuál tiene dos fases. La primera de ellas comprende el nivel de conocimiento y acercamiento a las TIC (diagnostico). La segunda fase que abarca la capacitación y apropiación en el manejo de las TIC y la implementación de las practicas educativas dentro del aula movilizando pensamiento, los cuales están contemplados de la siguiente manera: modulo multimedial, de mapas mentales, de herramientas para presentaciones de trabajo colaborativo, de comunidades virtuales, de videoconferencia dirigido especialmente a los docentes de preescolar, la básica primaria, secundaria, media académica y técnica y directivos docentes

R-ras1 and r-ras2 are essential for oligodendrocyte differentiation and survival for correct myelination in the central nervous system

Rapid and effective neural transmission of information requires correct axonal myelination. Modifications in myelination alter axonal capacity to transmit electric impulses and enable pathological conditions. In the CNS, oligodendrocytes (OLs) myelinate axons, a complex process involving various cellular interactions. However, we know little about the mechanisms that orchestrate correct myelination. Here, we demonstrate that OLs express R-Ras1 and R-Ras2. Using female and male mutant mice to delete these proteins, we found that activation of the PI3K/Akt and Erk1/2-MAPK pathways was weaker in mice lacking one or both of these GTPases, suggesting that both proteins coordinate the activity of these two pathways. Loss of R-Ras1 and/or R-Ras2 diminishes the number of OLs in major myelinated CNS tracts and increases the proportion of immature OLs. In R-Ras1-/-and R-Ras2-/--null mice, OLs show aberrant morphologies and fail to differentiate correctly into myelin-forming phenotypes. The smaller OL population and abnormal OL maturation induce severe hypomyelination, with shorter nodes of Ranvier in R-Ras1-/-and/or R-Ras2-/-mice. These defects explain the slower conduction velocity of myelinated axons that we observed in the absence of R-Ras1 and R-Ras2. Together, these results suggest that R-Ras1 and R-Ras2 are upstream elements that regulate the survival and differentiation of progenitors into OLs through the PI3K/Akt and Erk1/2-MAPK pathways for proper myelination.This work was supported by the Spanish Ministry of Economy and Competitiveness (BFU2015-64829-S and SAF2012-31279) to B.C. and (SAF2015-70368-R) to F.W

Abdominal Obesity Associated To Medical-Related Absenteeism At A Company Of Metal-Mechanical Industry In Cali, Colombia

Con el objetivo de examinar la frecuencia de obesidad abdominal y el ausentismo laboral por causa médica, se realizó un estudio transversal en 185 varones pertenecientes a una industria metalmecánica. En ellos, además de datos sociodemográficos, se recogió datos antropométricos y se midió la circunferencia de cintura (CC) en centímetros como indicador de obesidad abdominal. Se encontró, además de una alta frecuencia de obesidad abdominal (28,7%), que los trabajadores con obesidad abdominal presentaron mayor frecuencia, mayor tiempo y mayores costos por las incapacidades médicas. Se concluye que la obesidad abdominal en esta muestra fue altamente frecuente; no obstante, al tratarse de un riesgo reversible, las empresas podrían beneficiarse, en términos de ausentismo laboral, de programas preventivo promocionales destinados a controlar este problemaThe aim of this study was examined the abdominal obesity prevalence and association with medical-related absenteeism. A cross-sectional study in 185 men from the metal-mechanical industry was conducted. Sociodemografic and antropometrics data of was gathered, waist circumference was measured as an indicator of abdominal obesity. The prevalence of central obesity was 28.7 %. Subjects with higher values of central obesity showed higher frequency, higher duration and higher costs of medical-related absenteeism, however, this relationship was not significant. We conclude that abdominal obesity is highly frequent in this sample; however, since it’s a reversible risk, enterprises could get benefits from preventive and promotional programs destiny to control this problem

Múltiples trombos intraventriculares en el debut de una miocardiopatía dilatada no isquémica con hipernefroma asociado

We present the case of a middle-aged woman who was admitted to cardiology service of our center due to first episode of heart failure, being diagnosed with non-ischemic dilated cardiomyopathy with incidental finding ofseveral biventricular thrombi. During follow-up we found that one of the prothrombotic factors associated with this case was the presence of a silent hypernephroma. Plan estratégico de la alianza Carbon Rider - Shimano Bike

El objetivo del presente trabajo es evaluar las diferentes consideraciones que permitan concluir si una alianza estratégica entre Carbon Rider y Shimano es viable para nuestros objetivos. Para ello, se ha delimitado el análisis a la Ciudad de México, y se ha centrado en un mercado meta específico con productos de alta gama de fibra de carbono y a través de impresión 3D en bicicletas montañeras y de velocidad. Así, se ha efectuado un análisis evaluando aspectos del macroentorno a través del método de PESTELG y del microentorno a través del análisis de las cinco fuerzas de Porter. Asimismo, se efectuó un análisis interno y detallado de Carbon Rider y, por otro lado, de Shimano, identificando el modelo de negocio, la cadena de valor, las áreas funcionales, el análisis VRIO y el FODA, lo cual permite contar con un punto de partida para evaluar una alianza estratégica con Carbon Rider.The objective of this assignment is to be able to evaluate different considerations that allow us to conclude if a strategic alliance between Cardon Rider and Shimano is viable for our objectives. To do this, we have limited our analysis to Mexico City, focusing on a specific target market with high end carbon fiber products and through 3D printing on Mountain and Speed bikes. We have carried out an analysis evaluating aspects of macroenvironment through PESTELG method and microenvironment, through analysis of Porter’s Five Forces. Likewise, an internal and detailed analysis of Carbon Rider and, on the other hand, Shimano, identifying business model, value chain, functional areas, VRIO analysis and SWOT, allow us to have a starting point to evaluate a strategic alliance with Carbon Rider

Point-contact spectroscopy on URu2_2Si2_2

Tunnel and point contact experiments have been made in a URu$_2$Si$_2$ single crystal along the c-axis. The experiments were performed changing temperature and contact size in a low temperature scanning tunneling microscope. A resonance develops at the Fermi level at $T\sim 60$ K. This resonance splits and becomes asymmetric when the 17.5 K phase transition is crossed. These results are consistent with the existence of Kondo like bound states of the U$^{4+}$ ionic configurations and the conduction electrons. Below the transition, these configurations are split by the development of quadrupolar ordering. The peak separation can be interpreted as a direct measurement of the order parameter. Measurements on a policrystalline UAu_2Si_2$ sample are also reported, with a comparative study of the behavior of both materials.Comment: 4 pages (Latex) + 2 postscript figure

The management of anticoagulation in patients who have suffered a hemorrhagic stroke represents a difficult clinical scenario, in which individualized evaluation of both the hemorrhagic and thrombotic risk is essential.
