Ya conocemos el recorrido histórico de la Revista de Educación de la Universidad de Granada, por lo que no cabe insistir nuevamente en este asunto. Sin embargo, sí que considero oportuno destacar el acierto a la hora de elegir el formato de publicación de esta Segunda Época

Elaborar el estudio de necesidad que permita la proyección del sistema de transporte multimodal para el municipio de Flandes.El transporte multimodal a nivel mundial es el fin más preciado de los diferentes sistemas o modos de transporte, este proyecto académico de investigación busca analizar la política pública y los demás aspectos generadores que nos permitan identificar los factores determinantes de la problemática que mantiene en el atraso o estancamiento el transporte en la región del Alto Magdalena, Departamento de Cundinamarca y un sector del Departamento del Tolima. Colombia al igual que otros países tiene múltiples zonas aisladas por no disponer de un servicio de transporte eficiente, de calidad, oportunidad, tiempo y costos.Multimodal transport is the most valued of all means or systems of transportation worldwide, this academic research project aims to analyze public policy and other generating aspects that allow us to identify the determining factors of the problematic that keeps the Alto Magdalena region in Cundinamarca department and a sector of Tolima department in backwardness regarding transportation systems. In Colombia, as in other countries, there are a number of geographic zones that are isolated due to a the lack of a service that is efficient, has good quality, is opportune, timely and cost efficient

Consideraciones teórico-prácticas para la comprensión del texto literario en estudiantes universitarios (Revisión)

Language constitutes a very valuable element in the relationships of the individual as a social being, so the teaching of linguistic contents, and within these, the understanding of literary texts, plays a fundamental role. The work that is presented responds to a current problem in the teaching-learning process of the mother tongue related to the inadequacies in the comprehension of the literary text in the students of the 1st year of the Bachelor of Education career. This article offers evaluations related to the subject being investigated from the study of theoretical references, in addition practical activities are proposed to contribute to the solution of the detected problem. The subject under study is of utmost importance for the training of language and literature specialists, with the knowledge and skills necessary to interact with texts of a different nature.  El idioma constituye un elemento valiosísimo en las relaciones del individuo como ser social, por lo que la enseñanza de los contenidos lingüísticos, y dentro de estos, la comprensión de textos literarios, juega un papel primordial. El trabajo que se presenta responde a una problemática actual del proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje de la lengua materna relacionado con las insuficiencias en la comprensión del texto literario en los estudiantes de 1er año de la carrera Licenciatura en Educación. En este artículo se ofrecen valoraciones relacionadas con el tema que se investiga desde el estudio de los referentes teóricos, además se proponen actividades prácticas para contribuir a la solución del problema detectado. El tema que se estudia es de suma importancia para la formación de especialistas de lengua y literatura, con los conocimientos y habilidades necesarias para interactuar con textos de diferente naturaleza

Una mirada a la comprensión del texto periodístico en la educación universitaria (Revisión)

The developments of the technologies of the information and communication have marked the improvement of a variety of the text of different nature that is transmitted thorough secular media and are present in the most complex format, among then use find the journalistic text. The present work addresses a current problem of the teaching-learning process of the mother tongue, related to the insufficiencies in the didactic treatment of the journalistic text, which limit the understanding of its meanings in the students of the 1st year of the Bachelor of Education degree. Speech therapy of the University of Granma. In consequence with the above, teaching activities are proposed for the didactic treatment of the journalistic text, so as to favor the understanding of its meanings. This topic constitutes a priority in the training of this specialist, given the need to prepare them as efficient communicators of the Spanish language, capable of interacting with texts of diverse nature.El desarrollo de las tecnologías de la información y la comunicación ha marcado el auge de una variedad de textos de diversa naturaleza sígnica, los que se transmiten a través de disímiles medios y aparecen en los más complejos formatos, entre estos se encuentran los textos periodísticos. El presente trabajo aborda una problemática actual del proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje de la lengua materna, relacionada con las insuficiencias en el tratamiento didáctico del texto periodístico, que limitan la comprensión de sus significados en los estudiantes del 1er año de la carrera Licenciatura en Educación. Estrategia didáctica para el tratamiento integrado de las dimensiones del texto en el proceso de comprensión.

Este trabajo forma parte de un proyecto de investigación y responde a una problemática actual del proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje de la lengua materna. Propone una estrategia didáctica para el tratamiento integrado de las dimensiones semántica, sintáctica y pragmática; que favorezca la comprensión de los significados del texto escrito, en los estudiantes del primer año de la especialidad Español Literatura. Se emplearon métodos de investigación científica que permitieron obtener como resultados: el diagnóstico del problema, la elaboración de la estrategia didáctica y los resultados del pre-experimento que demuestran la efectividad del estudio realizado

Impacto de la violencia comunitaria en los estilos de vida de adultos jóvenes en México

In Mexico, community violence has increased, encompassing all types of crime (assault, rape, robbery, kidnapping). The present study aims to verify how young Mexican adults have modified their lifestyles due to the insecurity of their community and to analyze if there is a relationship between direct, indirect and contextual victimization with the fact of modifying their lifestyle. An ex post facto retrospective study was carried out, with a single group and multiple measures. A sample of 1470 university students from different states of the country was applied the Scale of Victimization and the Scale of Exposure to Community Violence and an open question was asked about the activities they had stopped doing due to the insecurity of their community. More than half of the sample reports that they have stopped doing activities that they previously did (eg, going to different places) or changed the frequency with which they do it or indicates that they have modified the schedule in the realization of their activities or in the visit to places or states that it takes precautionary measures (eg, avoid unknown people, go out alone, walk as if nothing in the street, take taxis, close doors and windows). It was found that direct and indirect victimization, as well as exposure to community violence or contextual victimization are predictors of these changes in the lifestyles of young adults.En México ha aumentado con un ritmo alarmante la violencia comunitaria que engloba todos los tipos de delincuencia (asaltos, violaciones, robos, secuestros). El presente estudio tiene como objetivo comprobar cómo han modificado sus estilos de vida los adultos jóvenes mexicanos debido a la inseguridad de su comunidad y analizar si existe una relación entre la victimización directa, indirecta y contextual con estos cambios. Se llevó a cabo un estudio ex post facto de tipo retrospectivo, con un solo grupo y medidas múltiples. A una muestra de 1470 estudiantes universitarios de distintos estados del país se les aplicó la Escala de Victimización y la Escala de Exposición a la Violencia Comunitaria, y se les realizó una pregunta abierta sobre las actividades que habían dejado de hacer debido a la inseguridad de su comunidad. Más de la mitad de la muestra informa que ha dejado de hacer actividades que antes hacía (p.ej., ir a diversos lugares) o ha cambiado la frecuencia con la que lo hace, o indica que ha modificado el horario en la realización de sus actividades o en la visita a lugares, o manifiesta que toma medidas de precaución (p.ej., evitar a la gente desconocida, salir solo/a, andar como si nada en la calle, tomar taxis, cerrar puertas y ventanas). Se pudo comprobar que la victimización directa e indirecta, así como la exposición a la violencia comunitaria o victimización contextual son predictores de estos cambios en los estilos de vida de los jóvenes adultos

Ciliates as Symbionts

Although many ciliates are free-living, more than 140 families of ciliates (Alveolata, Ciliophora) include symbiotic species of animals. Symbiosis, defined as an interaction between two species, is analyzed in this chapter to show a wide diversity of symbiotic systems in ciliates (epibiosis, commensalism, mutualism, and parasitism), providing some data about ciliate strategies showing their success as symbionts. Some species are free-living as well symbionts, facultative symbionts, and obligate symbionts. Analysis of reconstructions of ancestral state evidence that the parasitism arose numerous times and independently among the lineages of ciliates. At least three evolutionary routes can be traced: (1) transition from free-living to mutualism and parasitism, (2) transition from free-living to parasitism, and (3) regression from parasitism to free-living. The evolution of the symbiosis in ciliates demonstrates a higher diversification rate concerning free-living ciliates. The analysis of the evolution of the life cycles complexity, exploring molecular data of the phases of the ciliate cycle in their hosts is also essential. We propose new approaches for an integrative study of symbiotic ciliates

Synergistic Antimicrobial Effects of Silver/Transition-metal Combinatorial Treatments

Due to the emergence of multi-drug resistant strains, development of novel antibiotics has become a critical issue. One promising approach is the use of transition metals, since they exhibit rapid and significant toxicity, at low concentrations, in prokaryotic cells. Nevertheless, one main drawback of transition metals is their toxicity in eukaryotic cells. Here, we show that the barriers to use them as therapeutic agents could be mitigated by combining them with silver. We demonstrate that synergism of combinatorial treatments (Silver/transition metals, including Zn, Co, Cd, Ni, and Cu) increases up to 8-fold their antimicrobial effect, when compared to their individual effects, against E. coli and B. subtilis. We find that most combinatorial treatments exhibit synergistic antimicrobial effects at low/ non-toxic concentrations to human keratinocyte cells, blast and melanoma rat cell lines. Moreover, we show that silver/(Cu, Ni, and Zn) increase prokaryotic cell permeability at sub-inhibitory concentrations, demonstrating this to be a possible mechanism of the synergistic behavior. Together, these results suggest that these combinatorial treatments will play an important role in the future development of antimicrobial agents and treatments against infections. In specific, the cytotoxicity experiments show that the combinations have great potential in the treatment of topical infections
