Elderly is a term used to describe a group of people who have reached the end of their lives and are experiencing a decline in their capacity to perform basic bodily functions, which can lead to a variety of health issues. One of them is the prevalence of joint disorders, which ranks third among various non-communicable diseases that affect the elderly (51.9 percent). The goal of this study was to see if red ginger massage could reduce pain intensity in elderly patients with knee osteoarthritis. The sample in this study was 6 senior persons, and it was an analytic study with a genuine experimental design and a pretest-posttest control group technique. The average amount before receiving red ginger massage was 2.80 in the treatment group and 2.87 in the control group, with the pain scale in both groups being the same in moderate discomfort. The aftereffects of a red ginger massage The average number in the treatment group was 1.87 on a mild pain scale, while the average number in the control group was 2.87 on a moderate pain scale because no therapy was given. Hubungan Stres dengan Kejadian Hipertensi di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Sei Pancur Kota Batam Tahun 2018

Hypertension is a condition in which blood pressure increases persistently which is ranked number one cause of death each year. It is estimated that in 2025 there will be 1.5 billion people suffering from hypertension, this problem occurs in many developed and developing countries. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship of stress with the incidence of hypertension at the Sei Pancur Health Center in Batam City in 2018. The research method used analytical design with a cross sectional design. The sampling technique of this study used non-probability sampling technique with purposive sampling totaling 61 samples. The results of this study found that the stress experienced was in very heavy stress the majority of 62.3% of respondents, the majority of 91.8% of respondents experienced hypertension. The results of the analysis there is a relationship between stress and the incidence of hypertension with a value of ρ = 0.001 <0.05. Based on this, it is recommended that health services improve health care problems, especially problems that cause hypertension

Hubungan Caring Perawat Dengan Kepuasan Pasien Rawat Inap Di Rumah Sakit

Caring nurses are very important in meeting patient satisfaction, this is one indicator of the quality of service in a hospital. Nurses are people who become one of the keys in meeting patient satisfaction. Therefore, caring nurse behavior can have an effect on quality service to patients. Some studies conducted in Indonesia show that caring is still lacking for patients in hospitals as much as 50% show poor caring. Patient satisfaction is influenced by caring nurses in serving patients in hospitals. The purpose of this study was to analyze the relationship between caring nurses and patient satisfaction in the inpatient room. This study is a cross sectional analytic study and purposive sampling technique with a sample of 67 patients, collecting data using a questionnaire.The Chi-Square test results showed a significant relationship between caring nurses and patient satisfaction in the inpatient room with a p value of 0,045 (α = 0,05). Hubungan Peran Orang Tua Dengan Perilaku Merokok Pada Remaja Di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Galang

Adolescence is a period of growth and development of a person in achieving physical, mental, social, and emotional maturity. This period of self-discovery is not uncommon for teenagers to spend a lot of time outside with friends. This stage causes a lot of negative behavior that will appear, one of which is the behavior of adolescents in smoking. The incidence of smoking in adolescents aged 10 years and over every year continues to increase. The purpose of this study was to see the relationship between the role of parents and smoking behavior in adolescents in the work area of the Galang Health Center, Nguan Island, Batam. The research design is an analytical survey with a cross-sectional approach. The sampling technique used is total sampling. The results obtained 51.4% the role of parents is not good. Smoking behavior of adolescents 88.6% of adolescents smoke. A small proportion (14.3%) are teenage girls who also smoke. The results of the Chi-square test p = 0.029, there is a relationship between the role of parents and adolescent smoking behavior. It is recommended for parents to always pay more attention to children, especially when they are teenagers, provide a good example in the family environment and always provide education to teenagers, especially smoking is not only damaging to themselves but also to many people

FAKTOR - FAKTOR YANG BERHUBUNGAN DENGAN KEPUASAN KERJA PERAWAT DI RAWAT INAP RUMAH SAKIT HARAPAN BUNDA BATAM TAHUN 2015

Kepuasan kerja adalah keadaan psikis yang menyenangkan yang dirasakan oleh seseorang terhadap pekerjaanya karena terpenuhinya kebutuhan secara memadai. Seseorang yang memiliki tingkat kepuasan kerja yang tinggi akan memiliki perasaan positif tentang pekerjaanya. Namun faktanya masih banyak perawat dirumah sakit merasakan tidak puas. Berbagai faktor yang menyebabkan ketidakpuasan dalam bekerja. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat faktor-faktor yang berhubungan dengan kepuasan kerja perawat pelaksana di ruang rawat inap rumah sakit harapan bunda batam tahun 2015. Desain penelitian ini mengunakan desain penelitian cross sectional. Sampel diambil secara total sampling dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 74 perawat. Hasil penelitian adalah faktor-faktor motivator dan faktor-faktor hygiene lebih dari separuh tidak dilaksanakan. Hasil uji statistik didapatkan Faktor motivator yang memiliki hubungan dengan kepuasan perawat adalah pencapaian kerja perawat dengan p=0,020, pengakuan terhadap kerja dengan p=0,003, dan pekerjaan itu sendiri dengan p=0,027. Faktor hygiene yang memiliki hubungan dengan kepuasan perawat adalah peraturan kerja dengan p=0,013, gaji dengan p=0,011, dan hubungan interpersonal dengan p=0,023 dan kondisi kerja p=0,07. Setelah dilakukan uji multivariat didapatkan faktor kondisi kerja yang paling dominan dengan kepuasan kerja perawat dengan OR=5,123. Implikasi penelitian ini ditunjukan agar rumah sakit harapan bunda lebih memperhatikan kondisi lingkungan kerja baik secara fisik dan non fisik. Hubungan Anemia Dengan Kejadian Ketuban Pecah Dini Pada Ibu Hamil Di RSUD Embung Fatimah

PROM (premature rupture of membranes) is still an issue in obstetrics. PROM can be caused by a variety of reasons, one of which being anemia, which affects 12-70 percent of pregnant women in Indonesia. The goal of this study at Embung Fatimah Hospital was to see if there was a link between anemia and the rate of early rupture of membranes in pregnant women. An analytic observational method with a cross sectional design was used in this investigation. A total of 69 mothers were included in the study. According to the study's findings, there were 34 maternity mothers who suffered from anemia (49.3 percent ). There were 38 women who experienced early rupture of membranes during their pregnancy (55.1 percent ). The total number of The P-value for the chi square test was 0.000 0.05, according to the results of the investigation. It is intended that moms will pay greater attention to their health and check in with health services, and that health care providers will provide more education and other high-quality health services to pregnant women to reduce difficulties

The relationship of family social support with depression levels of elderly in 2019

This study aims to determine the relationship of family social support with the level of depression in the elderly. This type of research is analytic with a cross-sectional design. The population in this study were all depressed older adults who were in the working area of ??the Tanjung Sengkuang Health Center and the Sei Health Center working area. The City of Batam with the sampling technique used in this study was Total Sampling with 33 older adults. The results of this study obtained the right family social support (60.66%) and low-income family social support (39.4%). Moreover, the results obtained were not depressed (39.4%), mild depression (33.3%), and severe depression (27.3%). From the Chi-Square statistical test results with the likelihood Ratio formula, it was found that the p-value = 0.039 (<0.05) then Ha was accepted. At the same time, H0 was rejected, this shows that there is a significant relationship between Family Social Support and the Depression Level in the Elderly in the Region The Work of Tanjung Sengkuang Health Center and the Sei Health Center in Batam City in 2019
