    Bahasa merupakan penunjang keberhasilan siswa dalam mempelajari semua mata pelajaran, karena dalam setiap proses pembelajaran guru dan siswa menggunakan bahasa sebagai alat berkomunikasi. Oleh karena itu, dalam pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia siswa di maksudkan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berkomunikasi menggunakan bahasa Indonesia dengan baik dan benar, baik secara lisan maupun tertulis. Berdasarkan data yang diperoleh dari hasil observasi terhadap kegiatan belajar-mengajar di kelas II SDN Cibangbara Kecamatan Ciomas, pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia dalam hal ini pembelajaran menulis kalimat bahasa Indonesia kurang mencapai hasil yang maksimal. Salah satu faktor rendahnya hasil belajar menulis kalimat bahasa Indonesia adalah karena di lingkungan sekolah yang masih dominan menggunakan bahasa daerah. Berdasarkan kenyataan di atas, peneliti bermaksud menganalisis transformasi bahasa sunda masyarakat Desa Sukadana sebagai bahan pembelajaran menulis kalimat bahasa Indonesia bagi siswa kelas II SD. Transformasi dalam penelitian ini adalah merubah pola kalimat bahasa Sunda masyarakat Desa Sukadana ke dalam pola kalimat bahasa Indonesia. Dalam penelitian ini, transformasi yang di bahas adalah terjemahan, dengan mengalami proses-proses (1) Proses penambahan, (2) Proses penghilangan dan fenomena bahasa (1) Fenomena konvergen, (2) Fenomena divergen. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian deskriptif. Pada penelitian deskriptif, peneliti berusaha menggambarkan dan menginterpretasi objek sesuai dengan apa yang terjadi di lapangan. Data diperoleh dari hasil observasi partisipan dan wawancara mendalam terhadap masyarakat Desa Sukadana. Hasil penelitian ini adalah transformasi bahasa Sunda masyarakat Desa Sukadana ke dalam bahasa Indonesia mengalami penghilangan, penambahan, fenomena konvergen, dan fenomena divergen, bahan pembelajaran menulis kalimat bahasa Indonesia berupa pengertian kalimat, langkah-langkah membuat kalimat bahasa Indonesia, dan perlatihan menulis kalimat bahasa Indonesia dan langkah-langkah pembelajaran menulis kalimat bahasa Indonesia berupa pembelajaran dengan menggunakan permainan kalimat bahasa Sunda diartikan ke dalam kalimat bahasa Indonesia.     PEMANFAATAN PROPERTI SEBAGAI SUMBER INSPIRASI DALAM PENCIPTAAN TARI KREATIF PADA SISWA SDN GADEL IV INDRAMAYU

    Penelitian ini dilakukan berdasarkan hasil observasi mengenai kurangnya kreativitas siswa dalam mencipta gerak kreatif. Indikator permasalahan yang dijumpai yaitu lemahnya siswa dalam mencipta gerak kreatif, serta rendahnya kreativitas siswa dalam pembelajaran seni tari. penelitian ini terdapat 2 rumusan masalah yaitu bagaimana kreativitas siswa SDN Gadel IV Indramayu dalam penciptaan tari kreatif sebelum memanfaatkan properti dan bagaimana hasil kreativitas siswa SDN Gadel IV Indramayu dalam penciptaan tari kreatif sesudah memanfaatkan properti. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh data mengenai peningkatan kreativitas siswa dalam menciptakan gerak kreatif dengan menggunakan properti sebagai sumber inspirasi dalam pembelajaran seni tari. manfaat penelitian ini dilihat dari segi teoretis dan praktis. Meninjau permasalahan yang akan diteliti berkaitan dengan proses dan hasil maka penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif, metode yang digunakan adalah pre-ekperimental one group pretest-posttest. Pengumpulan data dengan cara studi pustaka, observasi, wawancara, tes, dan dokumentasi. Analisis yang digunakan dengan menggunakan pola 01 X 02 dan desain one group pretest-posttest. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa posttest lebih tinggi dari pretest, yaitu nilai pretest dan posttest 79,13 < 85,53. Data ini dapat dikatakan bahwa pemanfaatan properti sebagai sumber inspirasi dalam penciptaan tari kreatif pada siswa ini berpengaruh positif, sehingga hipotesis diterima. Dengan demikian melalui pembelajaran tersebut, dapat meningkatkan kreativitas siswa pada pembelajaran seni tari.;-- This study was conducted based on the results of observations about the lack of creativity of students in creating a creative movement. Indicators of the problems encountered is the lack of students in the creation of creative movement, and low students in learning the art of dance. this research there are two formulation of the problem is how the creativity of students of SDN Gadel IV Indramayu in the creation of creative dance before taking advantage of the property and how the creativity of students of SDN Gadel IV Indramayu in the creation of creative dance after utilize the property. This study aimed to obtain data on the improvement of students' creativity in creating creative motion by using the property as a source of inspiration in learning the art of dance. the benefits of this research in terms of theoretical and practical. Reviewing the issues to be examined relating to the process and the results of this study used a quantitative approach, the method used is pre-experimental one-group pretest-posttest. The collection of data by way of literature study, observation, interviews, tests, and documentation. The analysis used by using a pattern of 01 X 02 and the design of one group pretest-posttest. The results showed that higher than pretest posttest, pretest and posttest value 79.13 <85.53. This data can be said that the use of the property as a source of inspiration in the creation of creative dance is a positive influence on the students, so the hypothesis is accepted. Thus through this learning, can enhance the creativity of students learning the art of dance

    Key Words: Motivation, Uninterested Students, English Department The aims of this study are to find out the motivation that possessed by uninterested student in English department and to investigate how they can survive and sustain their study in the department they are uninterested in. Motivation is one of essential factor for the students in their learning process. The lack of motivation will cause less enthusiastic of students to do learning activity. Unluckily, interest is one of part of motivation that will give many benefits for the students to get best achievement. The data was taken from the field research in Muhammadiyah University of Ponorogo, particularly in last semester students and 6th semester student of English Department Faculty of Teaching Training and Education. The subject of this study were 6 students that chosen by using purposive sampling, all of them were female. The method of this study was qualitative method. The data collecting technique that used was interview technique. The data analysis in this study was using Field Analysis of Miles and Huberman Model. The descriptive qualitative method was used in presenting the result of data analysis. The uninterested students in English department of Muhammadiyah University of Ponorogo, had double duty to sustain their study in this department than students interested in it, because they possessed extrinsic motivation first, then just in the long process of learning, most of them could build their intrinsic motivation also instrumental and integrative motivation that support each other so that, it produced stronger motivation that made them could sustain their study and also affected their learning achievement. The most interesting thing was the fact that talent or aptitude, which had correlation with language intelligence, also helped them to blend themselves in the department that they were uninterested before, further became prominent students in the class Thus, better for the students to know their interest before they took particular department. For the parent, they could not forced their children to join department that did not suitable with their children’s interest and aptitude, because it would affect the strength of their children’s motivation which would affect their learning achievement. For the lecturer should understand how the way to increase their students interest in the learning process, so that they would got best achievement

    The Correlation Between EFL Students' Reading Attitude and Their Reading Comprehension at Fourth Semester of English Department at University of Islam Malang

    ABSTRACT : Reading is important activity for all people especially for student to get the point of reading text to support them in pedagogic area or for communication purposes. And because of that students have to have good comprehension in reading. But, for English as a foreign language (EFL) learner sometimes reading becomes challenging because of some obstacless such as lack of vocabulary, background knowledge and reading attitude. Then, beside that is so limited study regarding to students L2 reading attitude in reading in EFL learner at college level. Moreover, the current study seeks to answer research problem, do the higher score students’ reading attitude, the higher score their comprehension in reading.            This current study uses quantitative research to measure the data. The current study involves the correlational variable between reading attitude as variable (X) and reading comprehension as variable (Y). The population of the study is 30 students of fourth semester of English Department of University of Islam Malang from Class A and B. The current study uses two variables there are Reading Attitude questionare and TOEFL reading test to assess students’ readign comprehension and both are measured with Pearson Product Momment coefficient correlation through SPSS version 2.0.            The finding of the currents study shows that there is no correlation between students’ reading attitude and their reading comprehension. It is proven by the r value -.176 and the score of significancy .353 and that is higher than 0.05. Keywords:Reading, reading attitude, reading comprehensio

    The Students' Interest in Learning Vocabulary through Instagram

    Abstract: Many students have problems in learning vocabulary, one of the students’ problems in learning vocabulary is the teaching and learning process. To overcome this, students need a tool or media in learning vocabulary.  Instagram is one of the social media applications which can be used as a tool for learning vocabulary. This research aims to know the students’ interest in learning vocabulary through Instagram. This research conducted used a survey research design with a descriptive quantitative approach. In collecting data, the researcher used a questionnaire as the instrument. The researcher took 75 randomly selected participants from the second-semester students of the English Department in Universitas Islam Malang. To analyze data, the researcher used SPPS version 20. The findings of this research indicated that the majority of students have an interest in using Instagram as a medium of learning vocabulary. The students are strongly interested in learning vocabulary through Instagram because; (1) it was popular with them, (2) it was effective and it helps them to learn vocabulary more easily, (3) many English accounts on Instagram are very informative to them, (4) the Instagram features can facilitate them to train their knowledge about vocabulary. From the data findings above, it can be concluded that second – semester students of the English Department at Universitas Islam Malang are interested in learning vocabulary through Instagram. Therefore, the students should be aware of the problem that their face in learning vocabulary. They should know what makes them interested in learning vocabulary through Instagram. They need to know more about the feature on Instagram which can help them to practice more about their vocabulary knowledge to develop their vocabulary mastery. Keywords: Interest, Learning Vocabulary, Instagra

    PENAMBAHAN INFUSA BUAH PAPAYA CALIFORNIA (Carica papaya L.) DENGAN DOSIS YANG BERBEDA TERHADAP KECERAHAN WARNA PADA IKAN KOMET (Carasiusauratus)

    This study was conducted onLubukHulu Village, Lima PuluhSubdistrict, Batu Bara District. This research using a completely randomized design research method of 5 treatments and 5 replications. The test fish used were comet fish. The test fish used were comet fish aged ± 3 months. with an average length of 5-7 cm and an average weight of 3 g / head. The dose used was treatment A = without the addition of california papaya fruit infusion, treatment B = dose 2.5%, treatment C = dose 5%, treatment D = dose 7 , 5% and treatment E = dose 10%. The parameter of observed is extinction of life absolute long growth and absolute weight growth.The results showed that the addition of California papaya fruit infusion in the feed gave an average color increase of 4.2 and the best results were the addition of 10% dose of California papaya fruit infusion. The best absolute growth results (length and weight) were in treatment E of 1.58 cm and 1.86 grams, with a survival rate of 52%.The quality of water during maintenance, namely temperatures ranging from 25.5–28.5 0C, pH ranging from 6.4 to 6.9, DO ranging from 5.1 - 5.6 mg / L.Keywords : Infusion, Brighnesscolour, Komet Fis

    The level of vegetable consumption in Indonesia is shallow compared to the standards that have been set. Various factors contributed to the low rate of vegetable consumption, including economic factors and knowledge. Most of the santri at the orphanage in Jatibening consume fewer vegetables due to lack of knowledge and economic reasons. All students in this orphanage come from underprivileged groups, whereas since 2012, the orphanage has not received subsidies from the government for its operations. This activity aims to provide knowledge and skills for students at the Al Hidayah orphanage and provide vegetable plant verticulture to improve the students' food security. The method approach used is the active community participation (PAM) method in which the community is directly involved in activities. The pretest method stages, providing material, post-test, demonstration of making vegetable plant verticulture and redemonstration by students. The plants cultivated are mustard greens, spinach, and bean sprouts. The activity was held at the Al Hidayah Jati Bening orphanage on Sunday, 1 October 2017. This activity was attended by 20 participants from the Al Hidayah and Roisul Falah Jatibening orphanage Bekasi. Based on the pre-test and post-test results, it was obtained an increase in knowledge of 72.43%. It can be concluded that there is an increase in knowledge about verticulture and skills in making vegetable plant verticulture as demonstrated. This activity resulted in verticulture at the Al Hidayah orphanage that could be used by students at the orphanage to meet the need for vegetables

    Service Quality, Consumer Perception, Brand Awareness, and Consumer Satisfaction on Instagram

    This study aims to test and improve the service quality to customer satisfaction and brand awareness as an intervening variable when using Instagram social media. This research carries out quantitative methods using survey through questionnaires with a total sample of 137 respondents. To find out the responses of respondents to customer satisfaction when using Instagram social media in purchasing cosmetic products by using a Likert scale. Partial Least Square (PLS) is used in this research as the data processing. The results reveal that there was a significant relationship between service quality, consumer awareness, and brand awareness. Insignificant influence only causes brand awareness of consumer satisfaction, which causes customers to have difficulty in using Instagram social media the data is better than previous experience and the services provide sellers compared to paying attention to certain brand awareness.
