Influence of production leverage mechanism on cost management of industrial enterprise

У статті обґрунтовано важливість практичної реалізації заходів щодо управління витратами через застосування механізму виробничого левериджу для вітчизняних підприємств. Представлено розрахунки впливу політики управління витратами і цінової політики на прибуток і запас фінансової міцності. Розглянуто вплив (ефект) виробничого важеля (левериджу). Проаналізовано функціональну залежність, що характеризує вплив структури витрат (частка в ній постійних і змінних витрат) та рентабельності виробництва на величину ефекту виробничого важеля. Запропоновано використання виробничого левериджу як гнучкого методу отримання необхідної інформації для прийняття оптимальних короткострокових рішень щодо управління витратами.В статье обоснована важность практической реализации мероприятий по управлению затратами путем применения механизма производственного левериджа для отечественных предприятий. Представлены расчеты влияния политики управления затратами и ценовой политики на прибыль и запас финансовой прочности. Рассмотрено влияние (эффект) производственного рычага (левериджа). Проанализирована функциональная зависимость, характеризующая влияние структуры затрат (доля в ней постоянных и переменных затрат) и рентабельности производства на величину эффекта производственного рычага. Предложено использование производственного левериджа как гибкого метода получения необходимой информации для принятия оптимальных краткосрочных решений по управлению затратами.The article substantiates the importance of practical implementation of cost management measures through the application of the mechanism of production leverage for domestic enterprises. The calculations of the influence of the cost management policy and price policy on profit and the reserves of financial strength are presented. The effect of the production lever (leverage) is considered. The functional dependence that characterizes the influence of the costs structure (the share of constant and variable costs in it) and the production profitability on the production leverage effect size is analyzed. The use of the production leverage as a flexible method for obtaining the necessary information for the making optimal short-term decisions on cost management is proposed

Innovative activity as an indicator of the economic health of the region

The article is to study the problem of maintaining the economic health of the territory by providing the relevant dynamics of its innovative component. Innovative activity of the region, as a key indicator, reflecting the efficiency of distribution and use of different resources, contributes to the competitive advantages, implemented at the regional, national (and even international) levels. It is also a tool of smoothing threats. Formation and development of economic regional and sectoral interactions determine a variability of the forms of the results obtained. The hierarchy of the economic health is based on the differentiation of the parameters of innovation activity regarding the entities of different levels of management and their mutual influence. Therefore the criteria of economic health have been detalized taking into account innovation activity and its most significant interdependencies. National and international experience of forming the conditions for intensification of innovative activity has been considered, tools of implementation have been classified. The dynamics of innovative activity of the regions of the Siberian Federal District has been analyzed. Federal State Statistics Service ( five year period) and the activity of innovative clusters have been used as a source of a fact-based official data

Mortality from malignant tumours of population in the territories under the influence of blister copper production enterprises

The materials describing the malignant tumours mortality rate of the population living in the territories at risk of complex chemical contamination are presented.
