    Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui bagaimana proses pembelajaran, respon siswa, kendala serta solusi dalam pembelajaran matematika kelas VI menggunakan model team assisted individualization dalam materi operasi hitung bilangan bulat. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dan studi dokumentasi. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah pedoman wawancara untuk guru, pedoman wawancara untuk siswa, lembar observasi, dan studi dokumentasi. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah penerapan pembelajaran matematika materi operasi hitung bilangan bulat menggunakan model team assisted individualization sudah sesuai dan berjalan dengan baik. Meskipun masih terdapat kendala yaitu kurangnya waktu untuk kegiatan berkelompok dan siswa yang kurang termotivasi untuk mengerjakan tugas. Hal tersebut dapat diatasi dengan mengingatkan tentang tujuan awal pembelajaran dan memberikan motivasi kepada siswa yang terkendala dalam mengerjakan tugas.Kata Kunci: Pembelajaran, Operasi Hitung Bilangan Bulat, Team Assisted Individualization AbstractThe goal of this study was to determine how the team assisted individualization model for learning mathematics for class VI was employed in the learning process, student answers, constraints, and solutions for material arithmetic operations on integers. Research is conducted using descriptive qualitative methods. Observation, interviews, and documentation studies are used as data collection methods. While the tools utilized were observation sheets, documentation studies, student and teacher interview guides, and student interview guides. The study's findings show that employing the team-assisted individualization model to apply mathematical learning to integer arithmetic operations is suitable and effective. Although there are still challenges, such as a shortage of time for group activities and under motivated students to complete projects. This can be avoided by reminding students of the original learning objectives and inspiring those who are struggling to complete their assignments.Keywords: Learning, Integer Operations, Team Assisted Individualizatio

    This research was carried out to investigate students’ anxiety in group discussion of learning modern cultural studies at Universitas Bumigora. It’s used to identify whether factors that may contribute to anxiety in learning of modern cultural studies based on students’ perspectives. The method used in this research is qualitative with case study approach seventeen anxious students were chosen as participants. The data gained by using observation and mediated interview. The result of this research showed that speaking or expressed opinion by using English via audio or camera of video on, incomprehensible input, lack of reading, students’ beliefs of learning modern cultural studies, and lack of preparation were the five factors that are able to contribute to the students’ anxiety in  discussion activity of learning modern cultural studie

    This study aims to describe student perceptions of the task learning process for Vocabulary subjects at Universitas Bumigora This research is a qualitative research with descriptive research type. Primary data sources that are the subject of research are students, as well as secondary data sources obtained from the internet or books. Techniques in data collection is done by observation and mediated interview. The results of the study show that the perceptions of students in the implementation of task-based learning on vocabulary subjects are satisfactory, effective and efficient from the students themselves. This is because task-based learning encourages self-directed rather than teacher-directed learning, encourage students to participate actively, and build intrinsic rather than extrinsic motivation

    Application of Multimedia Digital Story Telling in Speaking Learning at Information Technology Study Program

    This article explains how project-based learning is being implemented (digital storytelling) to help students in the First Semester in Bumigora University in Mataram at become more proficient speakers. The aims of this research are to find out whether Project-Based Learning (digital storytelling) can improve students’ speaking skill and to analyze the students’ learning motivation when is implemented. A test, questionnaire, interview, and observation were used to gather the data. The researchers used action research and random sampling technique. The method used mix method, quantitative and qualitative. The steps in this design are Planning, acting, observing, and reflecting. The study's conclusions showed that students' speaking abilities had improved in a number of areas, including confidence, fluency, pronunciation, grammar, and vocabulary. A range of speaking exercises, such as oral presentations, voice recordings, group discussions, and interviews, helped to strengthen those areas. The study's conclusions showed that pupils' speaking abilities had improved in a number of areas, including confidence, fluency, pronunciation, grammar, and vocabulary. A range of speaking exercises, such as oral presentations, voice recordings, group discussions, and interviews, helped to strengthen those areas. Moreover, the mean gain of the students’ post-test was higher than the mean gain of the students’ pre-test. In the pre-test, the mean gain was 56.37; however, the students could achieve 74.05 in the post-test. In addition, students’ learning motivation increased in terms of: students involve in learning process, students solve the problem and search the issue, students try to work harder to avoid the failure. A demanding multimedia-based project in which students generated digital stories might give meaningful experience and increase improvement students’ spoken ability

    Penelitian yang peneliti lakukan bertujuan untuk mengamati adanya sel pada umbi bawang merah (Allium cepa), umbi bawang putih (Allium sativum), akar Amarilis sp. dan juga adanya Ca oksalat pada tangkai daun talas air (Colocasia esculenta L.). Penlitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode observasi. Berdasarkan hasil kegiatan penelitian diketahui bahwa pada umbi bawang merah dan putih serta pada akar Amarilis sp. ditemukan adanya sel. Selain itu kita juga mendapatkan bahwa memang terdapat Ca oksalat pada tangkai daun talas. Dengan demikian hasil penelitian sesuai dengan tujuan awal penelitian yaitu dengan ditemukannya sel pada sampel umbi bawang merah dan bawang putih dengan bentuk kotak yang tidak sempurna, dan sel dengan bentuk menyerupai segi lima pada akar Amarilis sp., begitu juga dengan adanya Ca oksalat rafida pada tangkai daun talas air

    The Development of Biology Module Based on Emotional Spiritual Quotient in Evolution Topic for Senior High School

    This study aims to produce a valid biology module based on emotional spiritual quotient (ESQ) in an evolution topic for senior high school students grade XII. This conducted research used the Plomp development method. In this model, there were three steps established, such as; preliminary research, developing or prototype phase, and assessment phase. For implementation validity, the research subjects were a biology teacher and five biology lecturers. The instrumentation used were; interview questionnaire, self-evaluation sheet, and validity questionnaire. The obtained data analyzed by qualitative and quantitative methods. From the research, yield a new biology module with ESQ based in evolution lesson for senior high school students grade XII. Based on the expert review, obtained the score of validity 3.71 which indicated very valid criteria

    IDENTIFIKASI MORFOLOGI TUMBUHAN FAMILI ARECACEAE DI LINGKUNGAN UNIVERSITAS PGRI RONGGOLAWE TUBAN

    Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi karakteristik morfologi tiga jenis tumbuhan anggota Arecaceae yaitu palem putri (Veitchia merilli), palem botol (Hyphorbe lagencaulis) dan palem merah (Cystostachy renda) yang berada di lingkungan Universitas PGRI Ronggolawe Tuban. Data penelitian diperoleh dengan metode pusposif sampling dengan analisis deskriptif kualitatif. Survey dilakukan dengan keliling area universitas dan mengamati keberadaan tanaman palem yang ada dengan menganalisis morfologi dan jumlah masing-masing ketiga jenis palem. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya 56 pohon palem putri (Veitchia merillii), 9 palem botol (Hyphorbe lagencaulis) dan 4 palem merah (Cyrtostachy renda) dengan persamaan morfologi daun dan akar. Daun merupakan daun lengkap yang termasuk jenis daun majemuk menyirip, pangkal tumpul, tepi rata dan ujung runcing. Sedangkan akarnya termasuk jenis akar serabut. Terdapat satu jenis palem dengan penampilan karakteristik morfologi jauh berbeda dengan jenis lainnya, yaitu palem merah yang memiliki pelepah berwarna merah. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa hasil penelitian sesuai dengan tujuan penelitian yaitu untuk mengetahui perbedaan karakteristik morfologi tumbuhan palem di tempat penelitian

    The research aims to improve the quality of student’s content writing in biology through implementation of Problem Based Learning (PBL) model. The research is a Classroom Action Researc carried out for 3 cycles. Subjects of this research were students of class XI MIPA 4 SMA N 7 Surakarta with the number of 31 learners. The research data was collected through writing documentation, observation and interviews. The validity of the data is performed using the technique of triangulation method. The research using qualitative descriptive analysis techniques. The results of the analysis of quality students content writing in the pre-cycle is 0; cycle 1 identified a score of 2, 3 and 4; 2 cycles identified a score of 2, 3, 4 and 5; score 3 identified a score of 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5. All quality content writing cycle 1 to cycle 3 are at level 1 in the category of writing skills

    Extraction of a plant in traditional medicine is a very crucial stage for the success of the treatment. For example, nangka kuning (Vincetoxicum villosum (Blume) Kuntze) which has been scientifically researched, its leaves are extracted with ethanol solvent using the maceration method. Meanwhile, by local people,nangka kuning leaves are processed by boiling using water. This attracted the attention of researchers to re-analyze the content of secondary metabolites in nangka kuning leaf extract made with different solvents and methods. Researchers carried out the extraction using water with heating (infusion), ethanol without heating (maceration) and chloroform without heating (maceration). The results obtained from the three types of extracts contained secondary metabolites of alkaloids in the three extracts. While steroids are only found in extracts with a water solvent. Then the tannins are found in the extract with water and ethanol as solvents. Negative results from the three extracts were shown for secondary metabolites of flavonoids and saponins. So it can be concluded that nangka kuning leaf extract which has the most optimal secondary metabolite is the extract using water as a solvent by heating
