    Pengaruh Suplementasi Vitamin E Terhadap Gambaran Histopatologis Hati Tikus Putih Wistar Yang Diberi Ransum Lemak Tinggi

    Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui pengaruh vitamin E terhadap gambaran histopatologis hati tikus putih (Wistar) yang diberi ransum tinggi lemak. Dua puluh lima ekor tikus putih jantan digunakan dalam penelitian ini dan dibagi secara acak dalam 5 kelompok perlakuan, tiap kelompok terdiri dari 5 ekor. Tikus putih KI, diberi ransum CP 521; KII, diberi ransum CP 521 + minyak kelapa 10% (ransum lemak tinggi) + vitamin E 50 lU; KIII , diberi ransum lemak tinggi + vitamin E 100 lU; KIV, diberi ransum lemak tinggi + vitamin E 200 lU; dan KV, diberi ransum lemak tinggi + vitamin E 400 lU. Perlakuan dilaksanakan selama 3 bulan. Setelah 3 bulan, hati diambil untuk pemeriksaan rutin histopatologis dengan metode mikroteknik dan pewarnaan hematoksilin-eosin (HE). Hasil pengamatan secara mikroskopik, pada kelompok KI dan KV menunjukkan histopatologis hati dalam keadaan normal, tetapi pada KII, KIII, dan KIV, terlihat adanya degenerasi hepatosit. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa pemberian ransum lemak tinggi + vitamin E 400 IU mampu melindungi terhadap degenerasi hepatosit

    Corrosion at Sulphide Inclusions in Stainless Steel

    Auger analysis was performed using a high resolution scanning auger electron microscope and auger electron spectroscopy. Elemental auger contour maps for corroded sulphide inclusions in stainless steel were presented. It was found that the copper enriched-manganese sulphide inclusions were uniformly corroded, which might be due to CU2S deposition on the surface of corroding inclusions. In contrast, manganese sulphide inclusions containing less copper were non-uniformly attacked, resulting in the formation of deep microcrevices at their edges

    Tujuan dilakukannya penelitian ini adalah untukmengetahui bagaimana pengaturan hukum terhadap tindak pidana pornografi melalui media cetak dilihat dari ketentuan Undang-undang No. 44 Tahun 2008  dan bagaimana penegakan hukum terhadap tindak pidana pornografi dalam media cetak (majalah dewasa). Dengan menggunakan metode penelitian yuridis normatif, disimpulkan: 1. Pengaturan Hukum terhadap tindak pidana pornografi melalui media cetak telah diatur dalam beberapa Undang-undang yaitu Kitab Undang-undang Hukum Pidana (KUHP), Undang-undnag Nomor 43  Tahun 1999 Tentang pers, Namun Undang-undang tersebut belum memadai dan belum memenuhi kebutuhan hukum dan perkembangan masyrakat sehingga perlu dibuat Undang-undang secara khusus mengatur pornografi, terlebih khusus tindak pidana pornografi melalui media cetak, yaitu Undang-undang Republik Indonesia Nomor 44 Tahun 2008 Tentang Pornografi. 2. Penegakan Hukum merupakan kegiatan yang bertindak menserasikan nilai-nilai yang tersebar dalam norma-norma agar menciptakan ketentraman, memelihara dan mempertahankan kedaamaian dalam pergaulan hidup manusia. Didalam penegakan hukum terdapat, Kepolisian, kejaksaan, dan Kehakiman. Tetapi secara Da sein sudah 9 tahun semenjak keluarnya Undang-undang Nomor 44 Tahun 2008 Tentang Pornografi, Majalah dewasa masih bisa berdar di Indonesia dan mudah untuk didapatkan dengan keadaan sekarang dan bukti yang ada dapat dsimpulka penegak hukum belum berfungsi sebgaimana tugas dan tanggung jawab .Kata kunci: Tindak pidana, pornografi, media cetak

    Methyl esters selectivity of transesterification reaction with homogenous alkaline catalyst to produce biodiesel in batch, plug flow, and continuous stirred tank reactors

    Selectivity concept is essential in establishing the best operating conditions for attaining maximum production of the desired product. For complex reaction such as biodiesel fuel synthesis, kinetic studies of transesterification reaction have revealed the mechanism of the reaction and rate constants. The objectives of this research are to develop the kinetic parameters for determination of methyl esters and glycerol selectivity, evaluate the significance of the reverse reaction in transesterification reaction, and examine the influence of reaction characteristics (reaction temperature, methanol to oil molar ratio, and the amount of catalyst) on selectivity. For this study, published reaction rate constants of transesterification reaction were used to develop mathematical expressions for selectivities. In order to examine the base case and reversible transesterification, two calculation schemes (Case 1 and Case 2) were established. An enhanced selectivity was found in the base case of transesterification reaction. The selectivity was greatly improved at optimum reaction temperature (60 C), molar ratio (9 : 1), catalyst concentration (1.5 wt.%), and low free fatty acid feedstock. Further research might explore the application of selectivity for specifying reactor configurations

    The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of financial information (Earning Per Share (EPS), Debt To Equity Ratio (DER) and Return On Asset (ROA)) and non-financial information (Reputation Underwriter and Reputation Auditor) to initial returns on companies that do Initial public offering in Indonesia Stock Exchange period 2014-2016. The type of research used is verification research with purposive sampling method. The target population of this study is all companies that conduct initial public offering (IPO) and subsequently listed its shares (lisiting) on BEI since January 1, 2014 s.d. 31 December 2016. After the selection there are 56 research target populations. The data used in this research is secondary data. Secondary data needed in this study can be grouped into two types of data that is quantitative and qualitative data obtained from the prospectus of the company that became the sample of this study. Hypothesis testing is used by performing multiple linear analysis.The results of this study indicate that Earning Per Share, Debt to Equity Ratio, Return on Asset, Underwriter Reputation, and Reputation Auditor jointly affect the Initial Return on companies that conduct initial public offering in Indonesia Stock Exchange period 2014 s.d. 2016. Earning Per Share partially effect on Initial Return on companies that conduct initial public offering in BEI period 2014 s.d. 2016. Debt to Equity Ratio partially has no effect on Initial Return on companies that conduct initial public offering in BEI period 2014 s.d. 2016. Return on Asset partially has no effect on Initial Return on companies that conduct initial public offering in IDX period 2014 s.d. 2016. Reputation Underwriter partially effect on Initial Return on the company offering initial stock in BEI period 2014 s.d. 2016. Reputation Auditors partially influence on Initial Return on the company performing shares in the stock period in 2014 s.d. 201

    Maraknya kasus kekerasan seksual terhadap anak, khususnya pedofilia telah menyedot perhatian masyarakat yangakhirnya membuat pemerintah menyatakan bahwa pada tahun 2014 merupakan Tahun Darurat Kekerasan Seksualterhadap Anak. Tulisan ini dimaksudkan memberikan gambaran dan juga pemikiran mengenai pedofilia sebagaikekerasan seksual terhadap anak, serta diharapkan mampu menjadi titik tolak pembuatan kebijakan perlindungan anakdari kekerasan seksual. Tulisan ini merupakan studi literatur yang menempatkan pedofilia sebagai masalah serius yangharus segera ditangani oleh seluruh aspek pemerintahan yaitu masyarakat, dunia usaha, dan pemerintah itu sendiri baikitu pemerintah pusat maupun daerah. Langkah penyelamatan anak dari kejahatan seksual mulai dari jaminan hukumyang ketat dan tegas sampai dukungan sosial dari masyarakat. Kementerian Sosial RI melalui LKSA berkomitmenmenjadi garda terdepan dalam pencegahan kekerasan dan perlindungan anak. Perlu kerjasama yang simultan danmenyeluruh dari orangtua, masyarakat sekitar, dan aparat pemerintah untuk menjamin berhasilnya perlindungan anak

    Compacted nanosilica-talic/calcium carbonate polyacrylate composites prepared using accelerated sedimentation

    The effectiveness of centrifugation as the compacting method in preparing high filler composites has been investigated. Different size and shape of fillers were used to ensure efficient filler space filling. In situ polymerization of bisphenol-A ethoxy diacrylate after centrifugating produced biomimetic composites with 74–86 % filler content. The filler space was efficiently filled by using a combination of nano and microsize fillers, especially in the nanosilica-CaCO3 composite. The morphology of the composites indicates that the fillers were well dispersed and embedded in the polymer matrix. The etched surface of the nanosilica-talc composite reveals that the combination of talc and nanosilica formed a biomimetic composite that displayed an ordered brick-and-mortar nacre-like structure. The wide-angle X-ray diffraction patterns indicate the crystal structure of CaCO3 and talc were maintained in the composit
