    Structure Behavior Analysis with Time History Levelling Method (Case Study in Building E ITERA)

    Mitigation of structural failure can be based on analyzing the behavioral of the structure by giving a nonlinear dynamic earthquake load of time history. Because Indonesia doesn’t have any data of time history record, it is necessary to match the time history data with the design spectrum response. Gedung E Itera is modeled on reinforced concrete structures with open frame models like as built drawing. Then can be evaluated the structural behavior that is like mass participation, plastic design, displacement, rotation, and base shear with time history load that will be levelling (levelling time history). With levelling the time history load , it can be found the first structural part that collapses and the maximum load that can be retained by the structure for one of the mitigation effort. The analysis uses a nonlinear dynamic time history analysis with the most dominant combination is earthquake combination. The results of this study show structural performance, the location of structural failure, and the maximum load that can be retained by the reinforced concrete structure of gedung E Itera

    Agarwood is non-wood forest product with high number of economic because the wood has many benefits. The presence of gaharu in nature is endangered because of illegal logging and for development of agarwood needed seed quality supplying, one with tissue culture. This study aims to determine the response of seed explants A. malaccensis and determine the concentration of the best NAA and IBA for induction of callus. This research use Complete Random Design (RAL) with 2 Growth Regulator NAA and IBA in any concentrates with agarwood seed explants. Results showed that callus was obtained as response of agarwood seed explants with NAA and IBA and the concentrate that's have real an effect on to determine the time of callus appear with best concentrate was NAA 2 ppm dan IBA 2 ppm. Callus appear dominated by olive green and green brown color, meanwhile tekstur of callus dominated by compact node

    This study aimed to examine the effect of litter Trichocompost corn and get the correct dosage on the growth and production at mustard. This research has been conducted on the experimental farm of the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Riau, located at an altitude of 10 meters above sea level. This study was conducted from February - March 2014. This study was performed experimentally by using Completely Randomized Design (CRD) consisting of 6 treatments. Each treatment was repeated 3 times to obtain 18 units of the experiment, one experimental plot contained 16 plants and 3 plants samples taken from each plot. Parameters observed in this study were plant height (cm), number leave (blade), leaf area (cm2), root volume (ml), fresh weight (g) and fresh weight feasible consumption (g). Data obtained from the observations were analyzed statistically, the results of the ANOVA test followed by Ducan\u27s New Multiple Range Test (DNMRT) at the level of 5%. The results showed trichocompost giving corn litter can improve plant growth, especially height, number leave, leaf area, root volume, fresh weight and fresh weight worth of consumption

    Students acknowledge in a way, that they donÂ’t understand the reading text due to lack of vocabularies. But on the other hand teachers of reading take it for granted that the students have sufficient knowledge of vocabularies and sentence structures. In the end teaching reading turn out to discuss difficult or unfamiliar words and sentence structures. Helping undergraduates understanding a text is the purpose of this article. Teachers are to make plans in advance that cover guiding students to recognize words and sentence structures learning about the importance of context and using context clues to find meaning. This context in sentences or paragraphs, the students will encounter in their reading texts. These practices of knowing words and sentence structures are expected to develop their interest and readiness in reading. Teachers play important roles and students have to participate actively to make the practices work The skills of recognizing words and sentence structures in English are meant to be the students background og knowledge to be able to understand reading assignments. Some practices are recommended before the students are ready to read the texts
