    Non-classical properties and generation schemes of superposition of multiple-photon-added two-mode squeezed vacuum state

    In this paper, we study some non-classical properties and propose the generation schemes of the superposition of multiple-photon-added two-mode squeezed vacuum state (SMPA-TMSVS). Based on the   Wigner function, we clarify that this state is a non-Gaussian state, while the original two-mode squeezed vacuum state (TMSVS) is a Gaussian state. Besides, the SMPA-TMSVS is sum squeezing, as well as difference squeezing. In particular, the manifestation of the sum squeezing and the difference squeezing in the SMPA-TMSVS becomes more pronounced when increasing parameters r and e. In addition, by exploiting the schemes of photon-added superposition in the usual order, we give some schemes that the SMPA-TMSVS can be generated with the higher-order photon-added superposition by using some optical devices

    Identify aerodynamic derivatives of the airplane attitude channel using a spiking neural network

    The paper proposes a method for identifying aerodynamic coefficient derivatives of aircraft attitude channel using spiking neural network (SNN) and Gauss-Newton algorithm based on data obtained from actual flights. Using SNN combination with Gauss-Newton iterative calculation algorithm allows the identification of aerodynamic coefficient derivatives in a nonlinear model for aerodynamic parameters with higher accuracy and faster calculation time. The paper proposes an algorithm to train the SNN multi-layer network by Normalized Spiking Error Back Propagation (NSEBP), in which, in the forward propagation period, the time of output spikes is calculating by solving quadratic equations instead of detection by traditional methods. The phase of propagation of errors backward uses the step-by-step calculation instead of the conventional gradient calculation method.     The development of human society has led to the increase in energy and resources consumption as well as the arising problems of environmental damage and the toxicity to the human health. The development of novel synthesis method which tolerates utilization of toxic solvents and chemicals would fulfill the demand of the society for safer, softer, and environmental friendly technologies. For the past decades, a remarkable progress has been attained in the development of new water-soluble titanium complexes (WSTC) and their use for the synthesis of nanocrystalline titanium dioxide materials by aqueous solution-based approaches. The progress of synthesis of nanocrystalline titanium dioxide using such WSTCs is reviewed in this work. The key structural features responsible for the successfully controlled synthesis of TiO2 are discussed to provide guidelines for the morphology-controlled synthesis. Finally, this review ends with a summary and some perspectives on the challenges as well as new directions in this fascinating research

    Acute Kidney Injury After Percutaneous Coronary Intervention Guided by Intravascular Ultrasound

    Purpose We investigated the impact of intravascular ultrasound guidance on reducing the incidence of contrast-induced acute kidney injury (CI-AKI) in patients undergoing percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI). Methods Ninety-nine patients were enrolled in this prospective cohort who were not randomly assigned to angiography-guided percutaneous coronary intervention or intravascular ultrasound-guided percutaneous coronary intervention. The patients were hospitalized at the Vietnam National Heart Institute - Bach Mai Hospital between 2019 and 2020. Acute kidney injury incidence during hospitalization was the primary endpoint. Results A total of 99 patients were divided into two groups: the intravascular ultrasound-guided group (33 participants) and the angiography-guided group (66 participants). The mean ± SD contrast volume of each group was 95.2 ± 37.1 mL and 133.0 ± 36.0 mL for the ultrasound-guided and angiography-guided groups, with P \u3c 0.0001. Intravascular imaging-guided percutaneous coronary intervention (IVUS-guided PCI) was associated with reduced acute kidney injury incidence during hospitalization: 0.0% vs. 12.12% and P = 0.049. Conclusions Intravascular ultrasound is a safe imaging tool that guides percutaneous coronary intervention and significantly reduces the rate of acute kidney injury compared to angiography alone. Patients who have a high chance of experiencing acute kidney injury benefit from using intravascular ultrasound

    Larval development and breeding ecology of Ziegler's crocodile newt, Tylototriton ziegleri Nishikawa, Matsui and Nguyen, 2013 (Caudata: Salamandridae), compared to other Tylototriton representatives

    We describe for the first time the larval development and stages of the recently described Ziegler's Crocodile Newt (Tylototriton ziegleri), an endemic species to northern Vietnam. Diagnostic morphological characters are provided for Grosse (1997, 2013) stages 27-32, 35-36, and 44-45, as well as comparisons with larval stages of other Tylototriton representatives. In addition, natural history data and an ecological assessment of the breeding niche are presented for T. ziegleri as well as for T. vietnamensis, from whom the former species was only recently taxonomically separated. We provide data extending the known breeding season of these two cryptic species in the North of Vietnam, which in fact lasts from April until July. On average, the clutches of T. ziegleri consisted of 67 +/- 32 eggs, were found on rock and soil substrates with a distance of 50 +/- 28 cm from water, whereas the clutches of T. vietnamensis were significantly smaller (43 +/- 19 eggs), found only on soil and were further distant from water (80 +/- 41 cm). The known maximum altitudinal distribution of T. vietnamensis is herein increased to 980 m above sea level. Based on the examples of T. ziegleri and T. vietnamensis, this study highlights how important it is to uncover cryptic species, define their exact distribution range, and investigate potential differences in ecological adaptations in order to assess the conservation status, develop proper conservation planning and provide suitable conditions for potential ex situ breeding programs
