    Penentuan Format Penulisan Laporan Ilmiah yang Ergonomis pada Media Kertas untuk Mengefisienkan Penggunaan Kertas. (Studi Kasus pada Mahasiswa Universitas Ma Chung Malang)

    Paper usage in Universities leads to a large amount of paper waste. An adjustment of writing format without overriding ergonomic aspects is a legitimate way of using paper more efficiently. Three factors affect reading comprehension i.e line length, spacing, and font size. The experimental design 2 × 3 × 2 complete randomized design (CRD) had been proposed and twelve combinations of treatments in the form of writing format had been tried out to respondents. Each treatment was repeated three times and each respondent only got one treatment. The best writing format is line length 10.2 cm, spacing 2, and font size 12 point. Paper savings that can be done using the suggested format compared to the currently used writing format in University is 40% and 25%, while the efficiency is 46.95% and 21.02%.Penggunaan kertas di lingkungan Universitas menghasilkan limbah kertas dalam jumlah besar. Pengaturan format penulisan tanpa mengesampingkan aspek ergonomi adalah cara logis dalam penggunaan kertas lebih efisien. Tiga faktor yang mempengaruhi pemahaman membaca yaitu panjang baris, spasi, dan ukuran huruf. Desain eksperimen menggunakan metode desain faktorial 2×3×2 rancangan acak lengkap (RAL). Terdapat 12 kombinasi perlakuan berupa format penulisan yang dicobakan kepada responden. Setiap perlakuan diulang tiga kali dan setiap responden mendapatkan satu perlakuan. Format penulisan terbaik adalah panjang baris 10,2 cm, spasi 2, dan ukuran huruf 12 poin. Penghematan kertas yang dapat dilakukan menggunakan format yang disarankan dibanding format penulisan di Universitas adalah 40% dan 25%, sedangkan efisiensinya adalah 46,95% dan 21,02%

    Jumlah ukuran adalah salah satu hal terpenting dalam merancang sistem ukuran pakaian. Semakin banyak jumlah ukuran pakaian maka akan semakin pas dengan bentuk tubuh konsumen sehingga kepuasan konsumen dapat tercapai dari sisi ketepatan ukuran pakaian dengan ukuran tubuh. Namun dari sisi produsen, semakin besar jumlah ukuran pakaian akan berdampak pada biaya setup ataupun penambahan lini produksi akibat penambahan variasi jumlah ukuran pakaian. Penelitian ini akan mengembangkan sistem ukuran pakaian baru dimana akan melihat titik titik seimbang antara biaya produksi dengan jumlah ukuran maksimal. Titik seimbang itu adalah jumlah ukuran optimal yang dapat memenuhi kebutuhan konsumen dan produsen secara bersama-sama. Metode FCM ABC akan digunakan untuk mengelompokkan ukuran tubuh menjadi beberapa kelompok. Sampel menggunakan 106 anak laki-laki umur 8-10 tahun. Penelitian terdiri dari tahapan yaitu Analisis faktor, Penentuan jumlah kelompok optimal, dan Evaluasi. Tujuh kelompok ukuran pakaian yang optimal dihasilkan. Nilai aggregate loss memenuhi syarat validasi sehingga dapat dikatakan pengembangan sistem ukuran baru dapat digunakan sebagai teknik untuk mendapatkan jumlah ukuran pakaian yang optimal

    Classification of Small and Medium Industry (SMI) in Malang Regency Using K-Means based Clustering Method

    Information in the form of a structured database becomes an inevitable requirement in the management and development of an organization. In Malang Regency, there are thousands of Small and Medium Industries (SMIs) that have not been completely recorded. This makes it difficult for stakeholders to find out the profile and potential of SMIs, especially SMIs that require special attention. This study aims to classify SMIs in Malang Regency by utilizing the K-means clustering method, using 5 clustering variables: the type of business, investment value, business age, product variations, and average monthly income. The data used in this study is primary data which consist of the five variables of the 183 SMIs sample located in Malang Regency. The result is that the SMIs are classified into 3 clusters, and patterned based on investment value, business age, and average monthly income. Nearly 90% of SMIs are grouped into clusters with the lowest specifications which provide an overview of the current condition of SMIs in Malang Regency

    Although considered as one of the main drivers of the national economy, SMEs are very vulnerable to business competition. Limited access to resources including knowledge resources makes SMEs constrained to develop their support system. One of the obstacles faced by SMEs today is their limited grasp to the business financial management concept. They also have a difficulty in accessing a simple financial accounting application that fit to their business conditions. The community service program implemented by the Ma Chung Abdimas Grant Team aims to improve the financial literacy of SME members of Forum Komunikasi Pelaku Usaha in Kabupaten Malang, as well as their access to computer-based financial accounting application. This program is implemented in the form of training and mentoring to improve SME’s understanding and skills in financial management. The results concluded that the training program was effective. It is able to improve financial management literacy for IKM partners

    : Desa Petungsewu di Kabupaten Malang terkenal dengan potensi lokalnya yaitu buah jeruk Pada musim panen, kuantitas buah jeruk yang dihasilkan sangat melimpah. Namun oleh warga setempat, buah jeruk hanya dijual saja sehingga harganya cenderung turun pada saat musim panen. Di sisi lain, melimpahnya buah jeruk Desa Petungsewu berpotensi untuk dimanfaatkan menjadi produk yang memiliki nilai jual secara ekonomi. Buah jeruk dapat dimanfaatkan menjadi beragam olahan non pangan, seperti lilin aromaterapi, sabun, ataupun lotion anti nyamuk. Pendampingan yang dilakukan, selain dikarenakan potensi dari buah jeruk, juga berdasarkan lokasi desa yang cukup dekat dengan Universitas Ma Chung. Metode yang dilakukan dalm aktifitas ini dimulai dengan mengadakan FGD (Focus Group Discussion) lalu dilanjutkan dengan pelaksanaan workshop. Selanjutnya dilakukan pendampingan hingga produk dapat siap dipasarkan. Tahapan akhir berupa evaluasi dari peserta mengenai pelaksanaan aktifitas pengabdian. Hasil dari aktifitas ini telah berhasil dilaksanakan, namun masih membutuhkan pendampingan lanjutan untuk pemasaran produk tersebut

    Clothes are divided into two types: custom and ready-to-wear (RTW). RTW is available in stores in a wide selection of sizes. However, the size of each brand can be different. Therefore we need a standard that regulates the size of clothes. Indonesia already has SNI 7929:2013 and SNI 7930:2013 which regulates the size of shirts for boys and girls. However, both SNIs still have drawbacks. This study aims to provide a design proposal that can be adopted by Indonesia manufacturers. The data taken are anthropometric data of 222 boys and 200 girls with 16 variables. The elbow method is used to get the optimal number of sizes and the k-means clustering is used to obtain the shirt size. The results showed seven size charts can be used as a reference as the evaluation of the aggregate loss and cover factor analysis has been met

    This study aims to measure 5 levels of service quality to find out how good the service was in the 2019 Simultaneous Election. Service quality was measured by the TERRA dimensions, namely tangibility, empathy, responsiveness, reliability, and assurance with a Likert measurement scale. The object of this research was 280 residents who were active voters at TPS 42 and 43, with a sample of 60 people. The data that has been obtained was processed into descriptive statistical data which were used as a database to determine the dimensions of TERRA which are still not optimal in the next general election. Descriptive data processing showed that most of the respondents strongly agree with the statement of service quality related to the TERRA dimension. The measurement result showedthat the service quality of TPS 42 and 43 is in the high range scale. This shows that the quality of service at TPS 42 and 43 was very good and complies with KPPS guidelines so that it should be used as a role model for other TPS
