Comunicación y refugiados = Communication and refugees

Resumen: Introducción: La protección de los refugiados está disminuyendo. Actualmente hay más de 22 millones de refugiados en el mundo. Su protección constituye el trabajo de organizaciones humanitarias: procurar que sus derechos humanos sean respetados y asegurarse que nadie vaya a ser devuelto contra su voluntad. Los medios de comunicación son una herramienta poderosa para transmitir discursos a la sociedad y conseguir un determinado clima en la opinión pública. Mediante la transmisión de mensajes de sensibilización y el fortalecimiento de políticas, se potencian actividades y campañas de sensibilización que se desarrollan desde diferentes entidades. Objetivos: Identificar estrategias utilizadas para promover sensibilización y solidaridad social sobre la problemática del refugiado. Metodología: Revisión bibliográfica de campañas de sensibilización comprendidas entre 2004 y 2010. Resultados: Análisis de 20 campañas. Discusión: Todas las estrategias comunicativas intentan que la audiencia pueda empatizar, de alguna forma, con el refugiado, que perciba esa situación de angustia que viven, frecuentemente, así como aportar ayuda, y eliminar prejuicios sobre dicho colectivo. Sin embargo, en ocasiones los políticos y los medios de comunicación muestran al extranjero como una amenaza tanto para la seguridad pública como para la identidad cultural. Conclusiones: En todas las campañas de sensibilización expuestas circulan mensajes positivos sobre los grupos considerados “diferentes”: Priorizar aspectos positivos en su aporte con la convivencia cotidiana. Reforzar argumentos que resalten aquello que tenemos en común. Destacar los problemas que presentan. En definitiva, se establecen actuaciones que faciliten la interrelación social, y contribuyan a la ruptura de estereotipos. Their protection is the work of humanitarian organizations: ensuring that human rights are respected and make sure no one would be returned against their will. The media are a powerful tool to deliver speeches to society and achieve a certain climate of public opinion. Through the transmission of messages of awareness and strengthening of policies could promote activities and awareness campaigns that are developed from different entities. Objectives: To identify strategies used to promote social awareness and solidarity on the issue of refugees. Methodology: Literature review of public awareness campaigns between 2004 and 2010. Results: Analysis of 20 campaigns. Discussion: All communication strategies that the audience can try to empathize, somehow, with the refugee, who receives the living situation of distress, often, as well as provide assistance, and to eliminate prejudices about this group. La eficacia de los sistemas de garatía en su labor de movilización del crédito

Es evidente la necesidad de financiación de las mipymes para su crecimiento y, la de estas, para que la economía de cualquier país pueda desarrollarse adecuadamente. Por ello, ante esta evidencia, nos planteamos las dificultades que encuentra el sistema financiero para la concesión del crédito a este ente, y que a pesar, de la necesidad del sistema financiero para el cumplimiento de su labor económica (flujo de créditos) y las trabas que encuentra en la regulación bancaria existe una necesidad imperioso del impulso de la actividad a través de la financiación de la mipyme. Para ello el sistema financiero necesita una herramienta, un catalizador que pueda sustituir los fallos del mercado y posibilite la concesión del crédito. Este mecanismo es estudiado a través de la literatura, hacemos un repaso por todos los estudios realizados como consecuencia del planteamiento anterior llegando la mayoría de los autores a una conclusión: el aporte de garantías es el mecanismo mitigador de la asimetría de la información y que permite el acceso al crédito a la mipyme. El sistema de garantía no solo posibilita la concesión del crédito, sino que abarata el mismo y multiplica el apalancamiento de las entidades financieras con las mismas estructuras de fondos propios. Sin embargo no se ha conseguido un uso masivo de esta herramienta en la consecución del crédito, por ello nuestro trabajo consiste en buscar cuales son los sistemas/entes que han conseguido un incremento en su volumen y que características/variables son las que influyen en el incremento de esta movilidad del crédito. Para ello realizamos el estudio de entes relativamente jóvenes que no tienen la experiencia del mercado Europeo y que son influenciadas por el Sistema de Garantías Español, se trata de los sistemas Latinoamericanos. En nuestras hipótesis identificamos dos factores importantes en los sistemas de garantía, el diseño de los mismos y el sistema de financiación, en esta premisa y las encuestas realizadas llegamos a unas conclusiones que nos clarifican cuales son las características que influyen realmente en el desempeño de la actividad de estos entes

Developing Number Sense: An Approach to Initiate Algebraic Thinking in Primary Education

Traditionally, the teaching and learning of algebra has been addressed at the beginning of secondary education with a methodological approach that broke traumatically into a mathematical universe until now represented by numbers, with bad consequences. It is important, then, to find methodological alternatives that allow the parallel development of arithmetical and algebraic thinking from the first years of learning. This article begins with a review of a series of theoretical foundations that support a methodological proposal based on the use of specific manipulative materials that foster a deep knowledge of the decimal number system, while verbalizing and representing quantitative situations that underline numerical relationships and properties and patterns of numbers. Developing and illustrating this approach is the main purpose of this paper. The proposal has been implemented in a group of 25 pupils in the first year of primary school. Some observed milestones are presented and analyzed. In the light of the results, this well-planned early intervention contains key elements to initiate algebraic thinking through the development of number sense, naturally enhancing the translation of purely arithmetical situations into the symbolic language characteristic of algebraic thinking.University of Cordoba 2020-4-400

La asimetría de la información en la crisis financiera, el racionamiento del crédito y la garantía como mecanismo simbiótico del sistema

Tras la caída de Lehman brothers y el inicio de la crisis financiera se produce un parón en la actividad económica y se evidencia una falta de financiación atribuible a la asimetría de información que sufre el sistema financiero, en este trabajo veremos como ha sido analizado por distintos economistas este fenómeno que produce el racionamiento del crédito y el riesgo moral. Realizamos un recorrido por la economía española demostrando esta falta de financiación y el endurecimiento de las condiciones financieras con datos actuales, y como, a través de la garantía se puede salvar dicho racionamiento del crédito en la pequeña empresa. No obstante, comprobamos como no se desarrolla el sistema de garantía en la economía española para alcanzar los volúmenes deseable

Sentido numérico y cálculo táctico. Un fantástico binomio

En este taller presentamos actividades relacionadas con la numeración y el cálculo en segundo curso de educación primaria. El taller incidirá en una propuesta metodológica más amplia que se fundamenta, por un lado, en el uso de materiales manipulativos que nos van a servir tanto de soportes numéricos como aritméticos, y por otro lado en la implementación de actividades basadas en estos recursos y que están dirigidas al aprendizaje de conocimientos habilidades y estrategias, con la finalidad de que el alumnado alcance un amplio desarrollo de su sentido numérico

International scientific research on venture capital: a bibliometric and mapping analysis from the period 1978–2020

The aim of this study is to explore the relevance of scientific production on venture capital using bibliometric and mapping tools.We performed a search in Scopus, involving any document published between 1978 and 2020. We used bibliometric indicators to explore documents production, dispersion, distribution, time of duplication, and annual growth, as Price’s law of scientific literature growth, Lotka’s law, the transient index, and the Bradford model. We also calculated the participation index of the different countries and institutions. Finally, we explored the co-occurrence and thematic networks for the most frequently used terms in venture capital research through bibliometric mapping.A total of 1,230 original articles were collected from the timeframe 1978–2020. The model confirms that Price’s law is not fulfilled. Scientific production was better adjusted to linear growth (r = 0.9290) than exponential (r = 0.9161). Literature on venture capital research has increased its growth in the last 43 years at a rate of 7.9% per year, with a production that doubles its size every 9.1 years. The transience index was 79.91%, which indicates that most of the scientific production is due to a lot of authors with a small number of publications on the research topic. Bradford´s law shows that the scientific production in this area is widely distributed in multiple journals, and Lotka’s law indicates that the author’s distribution is heavily concentrated on small producers. The United States of America (USA) and the University of Pennsylvania present the highest production, contributing 31.22% and 1.63% of the total production of research on venture capital.The venture capital task has undergone a linear growth, with a very high rate of transience, which indicates the presence of numerous authors who sporadically publish on this topic. Research in Mathematics Education through Spanish scholarly publications

Se presenta un estudio bibliométrico y de análisis de las redes de colaboración en los artículos de investigación en Educación Matemática publicados en una muestra de revistas españolas en el período 1999-2008. Para ello se han analizado los 774 artículos publicados en un conjunto de ocho revistas españolas representativas verificándose el cumplimiento de las leyes o patrones propios de la Cienciometría y comprobándose un bajo grado de colaboración científica entre los investigadores del área y también entre las institucionesWe present a bibliometric study of research articles on mathematics education, as well as an analysis of networks of collaboration in the same, based on a sample of Spanish journals published during the period 1999-2008. Ecological model of factors associated with dating violence

La violencia de género en parejas adolescentes (VPA) hace referencia a comportamientos abusivos reiterados que un chico adolescente ejerce contra una chica con la que mantiene o ha mantenido una relación sentimental con la intención de ejercer dominio y control sobre la chica y la relación. Este comportamiento se clasifica en cuatro tipos de agresiones: física, psicológica, sexual y económica. Recientes investigaciones hacen visible una realidad que afecta a millones de mujeres en todo el mundo y ayudan a comprender los mecanismos de la violencia de pareja. Uno de los hallazgos más importantes de esta investigación ha señalado que el origen de la violencia de género se encuentra en las primeras relaciones de pareja durante adolescencia. El modelo ecológico de los factores asociados con la violencia de género en parejas adolescentes ofrece un marco teórico explicativo adecuado para la investigación, la intervención y la prevención en este campo. La implicación del profesorado, padres y madres en los programas de prevención e intervención multidisciplinar en todo el proceso de prevención ayudarían a los/as adolescentes que comienzan una relación de pareja violenta a salir de esta situación. Por otra parte, una mayor sensibilidad de los medios de comunicación hacia esta realidad fomentaría un cambio hacia unas relaciones más igualitarias y menos discriminatorias en los roles y creencias que se establecen entre chicos y chicas cuando comienzan sus primeras relaciones de pareja.Gender violence in teen dating (VPA henceforth) refers to repeated abusive behavior exerts a teenage boy against a girl that maintains or has maintained a relationship with the intention to exercise dominion and control over the girl and the relationship. This behavior is classified into four types of agression: physical, psychological, sexual and economic. Recent research makes visible a reality that affects millions of women worldwide and helps understand the mechanisms of partner violence. One of the most important findings of this research has indicated that the source of this violence comes from the first couple relationship during adolescence. The dynamics of violent relationship established between pairs of young teens seem to have explanatory multi-causal origins. The ecological model of factors associated with domestic violence in teen dating provides an adequate explanatory framework for research work, intervention and prevention in this field. The involvement of teachers and parents in prevention programs and the development of multidisciplinary intervention programs throughout the process to help prevent adolescents who begin a relationship with a violent partner from a different background. Moreover, an increased sensitivity of the media towards this reality would encourage a shift towards more egalitarian and less discriminatory behaviors in roles and beliefs that exist between boys and girls when they start their first relationship.Departamento de Educación y Psicología SocialVersión del edito
