    Objective: the study aims to analyze the institutional rite on the unveiling of the screen in tribute to Anna Nery exposed in the Chamber of the Imperial Palace of Salvador, Bahia, in 1873. Method: The document analyzed was a meeting register's book about institutional rite in them approach imposed on sociological theorist referential by Pierre Bourdieu. Results: pointed to new questions, whereas the context at the time caused it to women, to the detriment of man, by male domination, being recognized, but, on the other hand, confined to the private means and when in public was to talk with her masculine gender. Conclusion: of the study direct to the various thoughts, one is that there is a lot to search about the honoree to better understand the reason of being the only woman honored for having gone to war in Paraguay, not that the tribute is not deserved

    TESES E DISSERTAÇÕES SOBRE HISTÓRIA DA ENFERMAGEM BRASILEIRA PRODUZIDAS ENTRE 1979 E 2013

    Objetivo: caracterizar a produção sobre História da Enfermagem nas teses e dissertações no Brasil. Método: estudo quantitativo, de natureza histórica, sendo utilizado o método história serial. Resultados: o total de teses em História da Enfermagem representa 5,39% de toda a produção no CEPEn e na Capes essa produção representa 4,17%. Já nas dissertações temos para o CEPEn a representavidade de 4,01% e na Capes a de 2,85%. A pesquisa evidenciou que a região Sudeste é um forte propagador da pesquisa em história da enfermagem. Conclusão: ossistemas de pós-graduação em Enfermagem ocupam uma posição fundamental no processo de modernização e desenvolvimento do conhecimento científico, o que também vem fortalecendo a pesquisa em História da Enfermagem.Descritores: História da Enfermagem.     Mechanical properties and DIC analyses of CAD/CAM materials

    This study compared two well-known computer-aided-design/computer-aided-manufactured (CAD/CAM) blocks (Paradigm MZ100 [3M ESPE] and Vitablocs Mark II [Vita] in terms of fracture toughness (Kic), index of brittleness (BI) and stress/strain distributions. Three-point bending test was used to calculate the fracture toughness, and the relationship between the Kic and the Vickers hardness was used to calculate the index of brittleness. Additionally, digital image correlation (DIC) was used to analyze the stress/strain distribution on both materials. The values for fracture toughness obtained under three-point bending were 1.87Pa√m (±0.69) for Paradigm MZ100 and 1.18Pa√m (±0.17) for Vitablocs Mark II. For the index of brittleness, the values for Paradigm and Vitablocs were 73.13μm-1/2 (±30.72) and 550.22μm-1/2 (±82.46). One-way ANOVA was performed to find differences (α=0.05) and detected deviation between the stress/strain distributions on both materials. Both CAD/CAM materials tested presented similar fracture toughness, but, different strain/stress distributions. Both materials may perform similarly when used in CAD/CAM restorations

    Utilizacao de materiais flutuantes no controle da evaporacao no Tropico Semi-Arido (TSA).

    Materiais flutuantes foram testados em tanques tipo Classe A, com o objetivo de reduzir as perdas por evaporacao das superficies livres d'agua. As coberturas consistiram de discos impoermaveis compostos de vermiculita, parafina e cera de carnauba (Copernicia cerifera Mart.); esferas de barro vitrificadas; esferas de barro nao vitrificadas; e discos de isopor impreganados de uma mistura de cera de carnauba mais parafina derretida. Cada tratamento cobriu 80% da superficie exposta do tanque, apresentando os seguintes resultados no controle das perdas: 54%, 60%, 50% e 61% respectivamente. A eficiencia apresentada indicou que as coberturas empregadas poderao ser viaveis

    A imagem do cuidado prestado pelas enfermeiras de saúde pública veiculada na Revista da Semana (1929)

    OBJECTIVE: to analyze the images of Public Health Nurses in care delivery to society, disseminated by the Revista da Semana, in 1929. METHOD: historical-semiotic study. The documents used were images, to which an analysis matrix was applied, including fashion and body language literature, besides others to address the study object. The data were interpreted in the light of the sociologist Pierre Bourdieu's notions of object representations and body hexis. RESULTS: the distinctive use of uniforms for the Public Health Nurses' activities was a non-verbal communication strategy to gain visibility and credibility during home visits . CONCLUSIONS: Public Health Nurses were particularly responsible for patient care and guidance to prevent illnesses, with a view to the qualitative development of Public Health. The intent in this study was to produce knowledge on image records about nurses' care practice at the National Public Health Department's School of Nurses, as well as to strengthen Public Health Nursing History research in Brazil, thus contributing to a better understanding about the construction process of nurses' image.OBJETIVO: fue analizar las imágenes de las Enfermeras de Salud Pública en la prestación de los cuidados a la sociedad, en el año de 1929, publicadas por la Revista de la Semana. MÉTODO: estudio histórico-semiótico. Los documentos utilizados fueron fotografías (a las cuales les fue aplicada la técnica de análisis de imágenes), y textos, incluyendo literatura de la moda, lenguaje corporal y otras de aproximación con el objeto de estudio. Los datos fueron interpretados a la luz de las nociones de representaciones objetales y hexis corporal del sociólogo Pierre Bourdieu. RESULTADOS: se constató que la distinción en el uso de los uniformes, para las actividades ejecutadas por las Enfermeras de Salud Pública, era una estrategia de comunicación no verbal para hacerse ver y hacerse creer en las visitas domiciliares. CONCLUSIÓN: la Enfermera de Salud Pública es responsable, especialmente, por ofrecer cuidados a los enfermos y orientarlos en el sentido de prevenir enfermedades, en pro del desarrollo de la calidad de la Salud Pública. El estudio tuvo la intención de producir conocimiento sobre registros de imágenes acerca de la práctica del cuidado realizado por la enfermera de la Escuela de Enfermeras del Departamento Nacional de Salud Pública, y fortalecer las investigaciones de la Historia de la Enfermería en Salud Pública, en Brasil, contribuyendo para entender mejor el proceso de construcción de la imagen de la enfermera.OBJETIVO: analisar as imagens das enfermeiras de saúde pública na prestação dos cuidados à sociedade, no ano 1929, veiculadas pela Revista da Semana. MÉTODO: estudo histórico-semiótico. Os documentos utilizados foram imagéticos, aos quais foi aplicada uma matriz de análise e escritos, incluindo literatura da moda, linguagem corporal e outras de aproximação com o objeto de estudo. Os dados foram interpretados à luz das noções de representações objetais e hexis corporal do sociólogo Pierre Bourdieu. RESULTADOS: constatou-se que a distinção no uso dos uniformes, para as atividades executadas pelas enfermeiras de saúde pública, era uma estratégia de comunicação não verbal para se fazer ver e fazer crer nas visitas domiciliares. CONCLUSÃO: cabia à enfermeira de saúde pública, em especial, prestar cuidados aos doentes e orientá-los no sentido de se prevenir doenças, em prol do desenvolvimento da qualidade da saúde pública.     El objetivo de la presente revisión fue evaluar las informaciones histopatológicas sobre la respuesta pulpar frente a la utilización de gerentes agentes cementantes, porque cuando se realiza la cementación de restauraciones indirectas sobre dientes con pulpa vital la biocompatibilidad del cemento es una de las propiedades más importantes para la selección del agente a utilizar La evaluación nos permitió concluir que ionómeros de vidrio y materiales con componente resinoso en su formulación producen una inflamación pulpar leve con tendencia a la resolución, pero si a la toxicidad del material se asocia la infiltración bacteriana, el proceso inflamatorio persiste y se acentúa; también nosotros concluimos que el espesor del remanente dentinario es importante en la protección del complejo dentino-pulpar

    Perspectivas dos egressos do Curso de Licenciatura em Educação do Campo, Campus Arraias/Tocantins

    ABSTRACT. This text is an excerpt of the Doctoral thesis in Education at the Federal University of São Carlos-UFSCAR, in which it presents a study on the Undergraduate program in Rural Education (LEdoC) at the Federal University of Tocantins, Arraias Campus, analyzing in to what extent the conditions of its materialization contribute to the formation of the working class. This paper aimed to analyze the materialization of the Undergraduate program in Rural Education from the perspective of its graduates. Therefore, we undertook an investigation that sought to answer the following question: What are the LEdoC graduates’ perspectives at UFT/Arraias campus, Tocantins? For this, we seek to unveil the object of study from the concrete reality, seeking to relate it to society in the search for understanding this movement of human formation in its entirety. Data collection took place through semi-structured interviews with 20 (twenty) LEdoC graduates in 2019. The results indicate that, in relation to the graduates, the number of students who completed it is still not expressive, given that only 37 (thirty-seven) of them completed the course. On the other hand, the graduates reveal that the course provided important contributions to their personal formation, since many now have another vision of “Rural Education”. In relation to insertion in the labor world, the course (and its specificities) is still not being contemplated in selection and competition edicts, both municipal and state, which demands attention to these issues, especially on the part of those interested. Given the data presented in this study, it is possible to see that LEdoC strives to make its proposal materialize in a satisfactory way; however, it has many challenges.ABSTRACT. Este texto pretende analizar la materialización de la Licenciatura en Educación Rural desde la perspectiva de los egresados. Por lo tanto, emprendimos una investigación que pretendía responder a la siguiente problematización: ¿Cuáles son las perspectivas de los egresados de LEdoC de la UFT/campus de Arraias, Tocantins? Para ello buscamos desvelar el objeto de estudio desde la realidad concreta, buscando relacionarlo con la sociedad en la búsqueda de la comprensión de este movimiento de formación humana en su totalidad. La recogida de datos se produjo a través de entrevistas semiestructuradas a 20 (veinte) egresados de la LEdoC en el año 2019. Los resultados indican que, en relación con los egresados, el número de estudiantes que han completado no es todavía expresivo, dado que sólo 37 (treinta y siete) sujetos lo han hecho. Por otro lado, los egresados revelan que el curso brindó importantes aportes a la formación personal, ya que muchos tienen ahora otra visión de “Educación Rural”. En cuanto a la inserción en el mundo laboral, el curso (y sus especificidades) aún no está contemplado en los edictos de las selecciones y concursos municipales y estatales, lo que requiere atención sobre estas cuestiones, especialmente por parte de los interesados. Dados los datos presentados en este estudio, es posible darse cuenta de que la LEdoC se esfuerza para que de hecho su propuesta se materialice de forma satisfactoria, sin embargo, tiene muchos retos.ABSTRACT. Este texto teve como objetivo analisar a materialização do Curso de Licenciatura em Educação do Campo sob a ótica dos egressos. Para tanto, empreendemos uma investigação que buscou responder a seguinte problematização: Quais as perspectivas dos egressos da LEdoC da UFT/campus de Arraias, Tocantins? Para tal buscamos desvelar o objeto de estudo a partir da realidade concreta, procurando relacioná-lo com a sociedade na busca da compreensão desse movimento da formação humana em sua totalidade. A coleta de dados ocorreu por meio de entrevistas semiestruturadas com 20(vinte) egressos da LEdoC no ano de 2019. Os resultados indicam que em relação aos egressos, o número de estudantes que concluíram ainda não é expressivo, dado que somente 37 (trinta e sete) sujeitos o fizeram. Por outro lado, os egressos revelam que o curso proporcionou contribuições importantes à formação pessoal, uma vez que muitos hoje têm outra visão da “Educação do Campo”. Quanto à inserção ao mundo trabalho, o curso (e suas especificidades) ainda não está sendo contemplado em editais de seleções e concursos, municipais e estaduais, o que exige uma atenção sobre essas questões por parte principalmente dos interessados. Diante dos dados apresentados nesse estudo, é possível perceber que a LEdoC se empenha para que de fato sua proposta se materialize de forma satisfatória, no entanto, possui muitos desafios.
