Halloween and Valentine’s Day in Slovakia: new holidays or new opportunities for celebration?

This study deals with Halloween and Valentine’s Day in Slovakia from the perspective of the eventisation theory elaborated on by Winfried Gebhardt (2000), which reflects on internal as well as external changes in the field of holidays in modern societies and seeks to elucidate the cultural dimension of the processes of individualisation and pluralisation during the late-modernity period. The authors explore these two holidays as global phenomena with a focus on their holiday practice, i.e. on the ways of celebrating and spending holidays. At the same time, they analyse the historical and social processes related to the transformations of Europe’s and Slovakia’s holiday culture since the end of the 20th century. On this basis, they present research materials that clarify these processes of domestication as well as the ways of celebrating Halloween and Valentine’s Day in Slovakia. The empirical data form the basis for formulating findings on the ways of spending these two “new” holidays and their relationship to the process of eventisation of the holiday culture.Artykuł przedstawia analizę obchodów Halloween i walentynek na Słowacji z perspektywy teorii ewentyzacji, szczegółowo opracowanej przez Winfried Gebhardt (2000). Teoria ta koncentruje się na wewnętrznych i zewnętrznych transformacjach obchodów świąt w nowoczesnych społeczeństwach i objaśnia wymiar kulturowy procesów indywidualizacji i pluralizacji w okresie późnej nowoczesności. Autorzy analizują oba święta jako zjawiska globalne, skupiając się na praktykach ich celebracji, tj. na tym, w jaki sposób są obchodzone, a także przedstawiają procesy historyczne i społeczne związane z transformacjami sposobów świętowania, jakie zaszły w Europie i na Słowacji od końca XX w. Autorzy prezentują także materiały badawcze, które rzucają światło na procesy domestykacji oraz przybliżają sposoby świętowania Halloween i walentynek na Słowacji. Następnie na podstawie danych empirycznych formułują wnioski dotyczące sposobów spędzania tych dwóch „nowych” świąt oraz ich relacji do procesów ewentyzacji kultury świętowania

Strategic Analysis and Strategy Design of a Selected Company

Cílem této diplomové práce je za pomocí několika vybraných analýz zpracovat strategickou analýzu podniku KASKO, spol. s r.o. Práce popisuje vybranou společnost a je rozdělena na část teoretickou a část praktickou. V teoretické části jsou objasněny základní pojmy strategické analýzy a vymezeny metody analýz mikroprostředí a makroprostředí podniku. Těmito metodami jsou PEST analýza, Porterova analýza, McKinseyho model 7S a SWOT analýza. V praktické části diplomové práce jsou následně tyto metody aplikovány na vybraný podnik. Na základě analýz byla zjištěna situace daného podniku na trhu a byly vytvořeny dva budoucí scénáře – realistický, kde je uveden návrh na udržení a pesimistický, kde je uvedeno doporučení na předejití.The aim of this diploma thesis is to process a strategic analysis of the company KASKO, spol. s r.o. The work describes the selected company and is divided into a theoretical part and a practical part. The theoretical part clarifies the basic concepts of strategic analysis and defines the methods of analysis of the microenvironment and macroenvironment of the company. These methods are PEST analysis, Porter's analysis, McKinsey's 7S model and SWOT analysis. In the practical part of the diploma thesis, these methods are then applied to the selected company. The selected characteristics of the criminal career and chronic offender of a violent crime

Rigorózní práce na téma: Vybrané charakteristiky kriminální kariéry a osobnosti recidivního pachatele násilné trestné činnosti je rozdělena na dvě části: teoretickou a empirickou část. Teoretická část se zabývá zejména rizikovými faktory, které mohou vést ke kriminálnímu jednání, psychologickými charakteristikami osobnosti recidivujícího pachatele a pachatele násilné trestné činnosti. V neposlední řadě je v teoretické části zmíněn koncept kriminální kariéry s jednotlivými prvky: participace, frekvence, délky, zahájení kriminální kariéry, intervalu mezi trestnými činy, zbývající délkou kriminální kariéry a její ukončení, specializace nebo všestrannost, závažnost a eskalace, spolupachatelství během trestné činnosti. Teoretická část shrnuje také základní statistické údaje o trestné činnosti recidivujících pachatelů. Empirická část má charakter kvantitativní retrospektivní studie, v rámci které jsou zpracovány soudně- znalecké posudky z oboru klinické psychologie. Hlavní úkol rigorózní práce se zaměřil na posouzení eskalace - nárůstu závažnosti trestných činů v rámci kriminální kariéry recidivujícího pachatele násilné trestné činnosti. The theoretical part deals with risk factors that can lead to criminal career, psychological characteristics of chronic offenders and offenders of violent crime. Finally, theoretical part mentioned the concept of criminal careers with basic elements: participation, frequency, duration, starts a criminal career, the interval between of the offenses, the remaining length and finishing of the criminal career, specialization or universality, severity and escalation, accomplice to criminal career. The theoretical part also summarizes the basic statistics on the crime of chronic offender. The empirical part is the quantitative retrospective study of the forensic expertises in the field of clinical psychology. The exercise program for patients with narcolepsy

Název: Pohybová intervence pro pacienty s narkolepsií Cíle: Cílem práce je zhodnotit úspěšnost pohybové intervence u devíti vybraných pacientů s narkolepsií. Metody: K získání dat bylo použito měření složení těla elektrickou bioimpedancí a měření funkční zdatnosti při spiroergometrii. Dále byla použita anketa pro získání informací o subjektivních pocitech pacientů a jejich pohybovém režimu. Výsledky: Pacienti byli schopni absolvovat program pohybové intervence. Po absolvování programu pět pacientů z devíti mělo nižší hmotnost o 0,4 - 10,6 kg a u sedmi pacientů z devíti se významně zlepšila kardiorespirační zdatnost při rozdílech hodnot VO2peak o 1,5 - 10 ml/min.kg. Jen někteří pacienti si udrželi pohybový režim i po ukončení intervenčního programu. Methods: Measurements of body composition by electrical bioimpedence and measurement of functional capacity by spiroergometry were used for data acquisition. Further survey was used to obtain information on subjective feelings of patients and their motion mode. Results: Patients were able to complete a program of exercise intervention. After completing the program, five of the nine patients had a lower weight of 0.4 to 10.6 kg, while seven of the nine patients significantly improved cardiorespiratory fitness differences in VO2 peak values of 1.5 - 10 ml / min.kg. Only some patients maintained an exercise mode after completion of the intervention program. Immunity of deputies and senators

Tématem diplomové práce je poslanecká a senátorská imunita v České republice. Práce je rozdělena do dvou výslovně nepojmenovaných částí, kdy první z nich se věnuje genezi tohoto institutu. Historický vývoj popisuje vznik institutu imunity, který sahá až do 13. století. Imunitou lze nazývat ochranu poskytovanou anglickým panovníkem reprezentantům lidu, která se postupně změnila v uznání privilegovaného postavení vznikající instituce, kterou dnes v moderní době nazýváme parlamentem. Exkurz historického vývoje v časové ose 800 let nazpět má posloužit k pochopení základní myšlenky, že imunita poslanců resp. senátorů slouží jako instrument ochrany zákonodárného sboru, potažmo Parlamentu České republiky. Pokud jde o imunitu týkající se poslanců (senátorů) České republiky, relevantní kapitoly zapracovávají první pokusy o vytvoření ústavních listin na konci 19. století, kdy byly České země součástí rakouského soustátí. Za základní relevantní dokument, stěžení pro dnešní pojetí imunity poslanců a senátorů v České republice, lze považovat Ústavní listinu z roku 1920, které je v práci věnován příslušný prostor. Pro úplnost je také několik kapitol věnováno pozdějším ústavám z let 1948 a 1960. Druhá část práce se již týká současné úpravy imunity poslanců a senátorů v Ústavní listině České republiky. Imunita...The presented diploma thesis focuses on the parliamentary immunity of Deputies and Senators in the Czech Republic and consists of two not explicitly titled parts. The first one deals with the genesis of the concept of immunity; the historical course describes the origin of the concept that goes back to the 13th century. Immunity might have been described as protection given by an English monarch towards Representatives; it gradually changed in privileged status recognition of a newly emerging institution, nowadays called Parliament. This excursion back into the 800 year history is supposed to help us understand the basic idea that the immunity of deputies or senators serves as an instrument of protection of a legislative body, or rather the Parliament of the Czech Republic. As for the immunity of deputies (senators) in the Czech Republic, relevant chapters deal with the first attempts to create functional constitutions at the end of the 19th century when Bohemia was part of the Austrian empire. Significant space is dedicated to the 1920 Constitutional Act, which may be considered as a crucial document for today's concept of the immunity of deputies and senators in the Czech Republic. Import 04/11/2015Diplomová práce popisuje návrh konstrukční úpravy automatického kotle na uhlí, její vyrobení, praktické zapojení do kotle a následné ověření, zda bylo dosáhnuto lepších výsledků při vytápěcím procesu. Zaměřuje se hlavně na emise znečisťujících látek a zvýšení tepelného výkonu kotle. Práce seznamuje s fakty ohledně znečisťování ovzduší a s legislativou v České republice upravující tuto problematiku. Na základě teoretických poznatků je provedena úprava kotle pomocí turbulátoru spalin, která je ověřena měřením a vyhodnocením výsledků. Závěrem práce je zhodnocení vlivu úpravy kotle na množství úletu tuhých znečišťujících látek a na teplovodní výkon kotle.Master thesis deals about design modification of automatic coal - fired boiler, its heat boiler connection and verification of emission´s results evaluation and power output during process of heating. Development of ultra lightweight concretes

Tato bakalářská práce pojednává o technologiích výroby ultralehkých betonů pomocí přímého vylehčení cementového tmele a současně nepřímého vylehčení pomocí lehkých kameniv. Dále se zabývá volbou vhodných surovin pro tyto betony. Praktická část se skládá z návrhu několika různých receptur, experimentálním ověřením a porovnáním jejich vlastností v čerstvém i zatvrdlém stavu.This bachelor thesis deals with the technology of production of ultralight concretes using direct lighten cementing compound and at the same time indirect lighten using lightweight aggregate. Further work deals with the choice of suitable raw materials for these concretes. The practical part consists of a proposal of several different recipes, experimental verification and by comparing their properties in a fresh or hardened state.
