Las instituciones políticas de Colombia y la influencia de Bentham : una visión general.

This work aims to trace the main aspects related to the known relationship between Bentham and the Latin American world, highlighting in particular the influence that the English jurist has exercised for the creation of political institutions in Colombia. A influence indisputable that, however, is characterized much for many famous points of contact between the Colombian leaders and the English jurist, as for the adaptation of the same points to the difficult arena in examination.Este trabajo tiene como objetivo trazar los principales aspectos relacionados con la conocida relación entre Bentham y el mundo latinoamericano, destacando en particular la influencia que el jurista inglés ha ejercido para la creación de las instituciones políticas en Colombia. Una influencia indiscutible que, sin embargo, se caracteriza tanto por los muchos y famosos puntos de contacto entre los líderes colombianos y el jurista inglés, como por la adaptación de estos mismos puntos a la difícil arena en examen

This research article analyze with a qualitative methodology the influence of Gramsci’s thought on the theoretical elaboration of Juan Carlos Portantiero and José Maria Aricó, Argentine intellectuals exiled in Mexico. The selection of fragments of different works of the two intellectuals presented in this article aims to highlight in them an evident Gramscian position, since the focus by the two authors on the relationship between State, democracy, civil society and socialism, pushes them to question themselves on the possible alternatives for the construction of a new democratic political order, evidently analyzed through categories typical of the Italian thinker

Theories and current political dynamics in latin american institutional framework : a line of reading.

El tema en objeto se ha abordado mediante diferentes esquemas interpretativos. Lejos de cualquier pretensión de exhaustividad, se ofrece una básica sistematización en clave politológica centrada en la observación de las teorías europeas que más han inspirado a los modelos constitucionales iberoamericanos, manteniendo sin embargo en el fondo de este análisis las diferentes perspectivas de investigación que, naturalmente, integran este estudio. La comprensión de esta influencia permitirá captar tanto la particularidad de la experiencia latinoamericana como las actuales tendencias de praxis política, que a menudo evidencian desviaciones con respecto a la voluntad formal establecida en los textos constitucionales.This issue has been addressed by different interpretive schemes. However, far from any pretense of completeness, to provide a basic systematization in politological key focused on the observation of European theories that have most inspired the Latin American constitutional models, but maintained at the bottom of this analysis precisely the different perspectives that, naturally, form an integral part of this study. Understanding this influence will, as a current political practice trends that characterize Latin American arena, and often show deviations from the formal will established in the constitutions

La influencia de Giambattista Vico en el pensamiento de José Martí.

Consciente de la complejidad y la imposibilidad de exhaustividad sobre un tema tan espinoso como, en nuestra opinión, igualmente atractivo, el presente trabajo pretende constituir un estímulo para la reflexión sobre el pensamiento y la posibilidad de acercar a dos figuras aparentemente distantes. Siguiendo una perspectiva politológica, este sutil fil rouge se reconstruirá mediante el examen de las consideraciones expresadas por Giambattista Vico y José Martí en sus principales obras, evaluación que permitirá entender en qué momento preciso las teorías del cubano de “Nuestra América” se tejen en la especulación del napolitano de la “Ciencia Nueva” y del “De Uno”. Una influencia que se percibe en el vínculo entre proyecto político-proyecto cultural, a su vez enmarcado en una filosofía, en un sentido de la historia, todo ello entretejido en el retículo expresivo de la imaginación, la poesía, el mito.Conscious of the complexity and the impossibility of exhaustiveness on such a thorny issue as in our opinion attractive, this paper intended to constitute a stimulus for thought and reflection on the possibility of approaching two apparently distant figures. Pluralism and democracy : the latin american neo/new constitutionalism.

El presente artículo evalúa las interrelaciones existentes entre democracia, pluralismo y tutela de los derechos, declinándolas en el contexto latinoamericano, con el objetivo de destacar la conversión de las peculiaridades de una democracia plural en los pilares de las cartas del neo/nuevo constitucionalismo. Para este fin, a través de una metodología cualitativa, se diferenciarán las diferentes concepciones de pluralismo, un ejercicio necesario tanto para la consideración de los principios guía de un modelo de estado constitucional ‘abierto’ y la consagración de los mismos por los textos latinoamericanos, como para señalar también las desviaciones registradas en la praxis política en consideración de las previsiones esculpidas para asegurar sostén teórico a esta apertura.This article evaluates the existing interrelations between democracy, pluralism and protection of rights, declining them in the Latin American context, with the objective of highlighting the conversion of the peculiarities of a plural democracy in the pillars of the neo / new constitutionalism charters. For this purpose, through a qualitative methodology, the different conceptions of pluralism will be differentiated, a necessary exercise both for the consideration of the guiding principles of a model of an ‘open’ constitutional state and the consecration of these by the Latin American texts, as to also point out the deviations registered in the political praxis in consideration of the sculpted forecasts to ensure theoretical support for this opening
