    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh gambar foto dan gambar garis pada buklet terhadap peningkatan pengetahuan petani padi sawah tentang pupuk organik yaang dilaksanakan di Desa Lagan Ulu Kabupaten Tanjung Jabung Timur. Objek dalam penelitian ini adalah gambar foto dan gambar garis pada buklet yang menghasilkan sebuah pengaruh pada peningkatan pengetahuan petani padi sawah tentang pupuk organik. petani responden ada 48 yang diambil secara purposive sampling. Responden di bagi dalam 4 kelompok, setiap kelompok terdiri dari 12 oran. Kelompok yang pertama di berikan gambar foto, yang ke dua di berikan gambar garis ( lukisan ), yang ke tiga diberikan gambar foto dan yang ke empat diberikan gambar garis. Analisis data yaitu dengan mengunakan analisis sidik ragam. Hasil peningkatan pengetahuan tentang pupuk organik yaitu sangat nyata Fhitung>Ftabel yakni; 5,44>2,44. Artinya gambar foto dan gambar garis dapat mempengaruhi peningkatan pengetahuan petani padi

    Today's children spend considerable time online, searching and receiving information from various websites and apps. While searching for information, e.g. for school or hobbies, children use search systems to locate resources and receive site recommendations that might be useful for them. The call for good, reliable, child-friendly systems has been made many times and the thesis that the algorithms of "adult" information systems are not necessarily suitable or fair for children is widely accepted. However, there is still no clear and balanced view on what makes one search/recommendation system for children good or better than other systems, nor on what content should be considered "good enough to be retrieved" or recommended. The goal of this workshop is to bring together researchers and practitioners in education, child-development, computer science, and more who can address this questions while considering issues related to education, algorithms, ethics, privacy, evaluation

    Management of a Malpractice Dental Implant Case in a Patient with History of Oral Bisphosphonates Intake: A Case Report and Narrative Review of Recent Findings

    The present article aims to describe the management of a malpractice dental implant case in a patient with a history of oral bisphosphonates (BF) intake (alendronic acid every 15 days for 20 years) and to perform a narrative review of recently published articles (2019–2023) on the topic. A female patient rehabilitated with 18 nails in the mandible 20 years ago underwent two surgeries; the first one included the explantation of the nails; the second one included the insertion of two implants in the anterior region. At the last follow-up (21 months from the first surgery and 15 months from the second one) no complications nor episodes of bisphosphonate-related osteonecrosis of the jaw (BRONJ) were highlighted. Furthermore, 12 recent articles on the topic were reported and a narrative review was performed. Based on the narrative analysis, the topic related to dental implants in patients with BF intake seems to remain controversial. Most of the findings highlight how the evidence on both the safety of the treatment and the possibility to foresee the risk of onset based on preoperative factors seem to be scarce. The case described in the present article did not report any complications nor episodes of BRONJ. However, evidence from a single case report is scarce and more clinical trials are required to deepen the knowledge on the topic

    Diagnosis of right bundle branch block: a concordance study

Most cases of right bundle branch block are detected in asymptomatic patients in primary care, so a correct interpretation of electrocardiograms (ECGs) at this level is necessary. The objective of this research is to determine the degree of concordance in the diagnosis of incomplete and complete right bundle branch block between four primary care researchers and a cardiologist. METHODS: The research design is a retrospective cohort study of patients over 18 years of ages of patients over 18 years of ages who underwent an ECG for any reason and were diagnosed with right bundle branch block by their physician. The physicians participating, 4 primary care researchers and a cardiologist were specialized in interpreting electrocardiographic records. The diagnosis of incomplete and complete right bundle branch block was recorded and other secondary variables were analysed. In case of diagnostic discordance between the researchers, the ECGs were reviewed by an expert cardiologist, who interpreted them, established the diagnosis and analysed the possible causes for the discrepancy. RESULTS: We studied 160 patients diagnosed with right bundle branch block by their general practise. The patients had a mean age of 64.8 years and 54% of them were men. The concordance in the diagnosis of incomplete right bundle branch block showed a Fleiss' kappa index (k) of 0.71 among the five researchers and of 0.85 among only the primary care researchers. The k for complete right bundle branch block was 0.93 among the five researchers and 0.96 among only the primary care researchers. CONCLUSION: The interobserver agreement in the diagnosis of right bundle branch block performed by physicians specialized in ECG interpretation (primary care physicians and a cardiologist) was very good. The variability was greater for the diagnosis of incomplete right bundle branch block

    Genome-wide identification of direct HBx genomic targets

    Background: The Hepatitis B Virus (HBV) HBx regulatory protein is required for HBV replication and involved in HBV-related carcinogenesis. HBx interacts with chromatin modifying enzymes and transcription factors to modulate histone post-translational modifications and to regulate viral cccDNA transcription and cellular gene expression. Aiming to identify genes and non-coding RNAs (ncRNAs) directly targeted by HBx, we performed a chromatin immunoprecipitation sequencing (ChIP-Seq) to analyse HBV recruitment on host cell chromatin in cells replicating HBV. Results: ChIP-Seq high throughput sequencing of HBx-bound fragments was used to obtain a high-resolution, unbiased, mapping of HBx binding sites across the genome in HBV replicating cells. Protein-coding genes and ncRNAs involved in cell metabolism, chromatin dynamics and cancer were enriched among HBx targets together with genes/ncRNAs known to modulate HBV replication. The direct transcriptional activation of genes/miRNAs that potentiate endocytosis (Ras-related in brain (RAB) GTPase family) and autophagy (autophagy related (ATG) genes, beclin-1, miR-33a) and the transcriptional repression of microRNAs (miR-138, miR-224, miR-576, miR-596) that directly target the HBV pgRNA and would inhibit HBV replication, contribute to HBx-mediated increase of HBV replication. Conclusions: Our ChIP-Seq analysis of HBx genome wide chromatin recruitment defined the repertoire of genes and ncRNAs directly targeted by HBx and led to the identification of new mechanisms by which HBx positively regulates cccDNA transcription and HBV replication

    Brain Structural Correlates of Emotion Recognition in Psychopaths

    Individuals with psychopathy present deficits in the recognition of facial emotional expressions. However, the nature and extent of these alterations are not fully understood. Furthermore, available data on the functional neural correlates of emotional face recognition deficits in adult psychopaths have provided mixed results. In this context, emotional face morphing tasks may be suitable for clarifying mild and emotion-specific impairments in psychopaths. Likewise, studies exploring corresponding anatomical correlates may be useful for disentangling available neurofunctional evidence based on the alleged neurodevelopmental roots of psychopathic traits.We used Voxel-Based Morphometry and a morphed emotional face expression recognition task to evaluate the relationship between regional gray matter (GM) volumes and facial emotion recognition deficits in male psychopaths. In comparison to male healthy controls, psychopaths showed deficits in the recognition of sad, happy and fear emotional expressions. In subsequent brain imaging analyses psychopaths with better recognition of facial emotional expressions showed higher volume in the prefrontal cortex (orbitofrontal, inferior frontal and dorsomedial prefrontal cortices), somatosensory cortex, anterior insula, cingulate cortex and the posterior lobe of the cerebellum. Amygdala and temporal lobe volumes contributed to better emotional face recognition in controls only. These findings provide evidence suggesting that variability in brain morphometry plays a role in accounting for psychopaths' impaired ability to recognize emotional face expressions, and may have implications for comprehensively characterizing the empathy and social cognition dysfunctions typically observed in this population of subjects
