Sprachförderung an österreichischen Schulen

Migrationsbedingte Vielsprachigkeit gehört heute in Österreich zur Schulrealität. Ungefähr ein Fünftel der SchülerInnen an österreichischen Pflichtschulen hat eine andere Erstsprache als Deutsch. Die bildungspolitische Herausforderung besteht einerseits in der Vermittlung angemessener Fähigkeiten in der Schulsprache Deutsch für diese SchülerInnen, und andererseits in der Förderung der verschiedenen anderen Sprachkenntnisse, die Kinder in die Schule mitbringen. In dieser Arbeit werden neben grundlegenden Informationen zum Erst- und Zweitspracherwerb bzw. zum Spracherwerb in der Migration zunächst vor allem unterrichtsorganisatorische Aspekte international bekannter Sprachfördermodelle dargestellt. Ziel ist die Identifizierung jener Konzepte, die die Entwicklung einer ausgewogene Zwei- oder Mehrsprachigkeit von Kindern mit Migrationshintergrund unterstützen. Nach einem Überblick über die aktuellen österreichischen Maßnahmen zur Sprachförderung wird anhand einer Fallstudie an einer Wiener Volksschule untersucht, unter welchen Rahmenbedingungen Sprachförderung in der Praxis stattfindet, wo die Probleme liegen und wo Verbesserungen ansetzen müssen, damit faire Bildungschancen für zwei- und mehrsprachig aufwachsende Kinder Wirklichkeit werden können.Plurilingualism as a result of migration forms part of daily life in Austrian schools. Approximately one fifth of students at Austrian compulsory schools call a language different from German their first language. On the one hand the challenge for educational policy consists in promoting adequate skills in the language of instruction, German, and on the other hand in supporting further language skills the children owe to their migratory background. In addition to some basic information regarding first and second language acquisition and language acquisition in a migratory context, respectively, in this work aspects of organising instruction are examined which are part of internationally renowned language promotion programmes. It is the goal of this thesis to identify those models of instruction which enable balanced bilingualism or multilingualism in children with a migratory background. After giving an overview of current efforts in Austria to promote language skills, the practical conditions of language teaching will be examined. Based on a case study carried out at a Viennese primary school difficulties will be identified and suggestions for improvement made in order to guarantee equal educational opportunities for children with a bilingual or plurilingual background

Motivation of Older Adults for Autonomous Learning and Non-formal Education

Magistrsko delo obravnava tematiko motivacije, ki jo starejši odrasli izkazujejo za samostojno učenje in neformalno izobraževanje. V teoretičnih izhodiščih je najprej predstavljenih nekaj opredelitev starosti in starejših odraslih, pri čemer sta posebej predstavljena tretje in četrto življenjsko obdobje pri starejših odraslih ter nadalje nekatere značilnosti starejših odraslih. Osrednji del je namenjen učenju in izobraževanju starejših odraslih, v katerem sem se osredotočila na pomen le-tega zanje ter na dejavnike, ki vplivajo na uspešnost njihovega učenja. V končnem delu teoretičnih izhodišč pa sem se osredotočila na motivacijo starejših odraslih za učenje in izobraževanje s poudarkom na dejavnikih, ki nanjo vplivajo. Pri tem so izpostavljeni tudi motivi in potrebe, dejavniki, ki vplivajo na (ne)udeležbo v izobraževanju ter ovire, ki jih starejši odrasli pri tem doživljajo. V empiričnem delu so predstavljeni rezultati kvalitativne raziskave, ki je bila opravljena s pomočjo intervjujev s šestimi starejšimi odraslimi, ki so upokojeni in stari nad 65 let ter izkazujejo motivacijo za samostojno učenje in/ali za neformalno izobraževanje. Raziskovala sem njihovo življenjsko pot s pomembnimi izkušnjami in prehodi, da sem lažje razumela, zakaj se učijo in izobražujejo. Zanimalo me je, kaj jih motivira za samostojno učenje in kaj za vključevanje v neformalno izobraževanje. Ugotovila sem, da so ključnega pomena tudi dejavniki, ki vplivajo na njihovo motivacijo za učenje in izobraževanje. Poleg tega me je zanimalo tudi s katerimi ovirami se srečujejo pri učenju in/ali izobraževanju ter kateri so morebitni razlogi, da se ne učijo radi samostojno ali da se ne vključujejo v neformalno izobraževanje. V magistrskem delu sem ugotovila, da so lahko starejši odrasli kljub številnim različnim oviram visoko motivirani tako za samostojno učenje, ki ga lahko tudi samouravnavajo, kot tudi za neformalno izobraževanje. Za vse intervjuvane starejše odrasle je najpomembnejši motiv zanimanje, ki se povezuje tudi z njihovimi predhodnimi življenjskimi izkušnjami. Pri tistih, ki se neformalno izobražujejo, je pomemben motiv še druženje. Predvsem pa se je izkazalo, da so tisti starejši odrasli, ki so motivirani za učenje, radovedni, se učijo z veseljem in imajo željo po znanju ter po pridobivanju novih informacij. Ugotavljam, da so ti notranji vzgibi ključnega pomena za vseživljenjsko učenje in izobraževanje posameznikov.The master thesis discusses the theme of motivation that older adults express for autonomous learning and non-formal education. In the theoretical part I firstly present some definitions of age and older adults, focusing mostly on their third and fourth period of life, and afterwards I present some characteristics of older adults. The main part addresses learning and education of older adults. I focused on their meaning for them and on the factors, which affect the efficiency of their learning. And in the last section of the theoretical part I concentrated on the motivation for learning and receiving education of older adults, specifically on the factors, which influence it. I also pointed out the motives and needs, factors, which affect taking part (or not) in the course of education and the obstacles that older adults meet during it. In the empirical part I introduce the results of qualitative research, which was carried out through interviews of six older adults, that are retired, older than 65 years and show motivation for autonomous learning and/or non-formal education. To better understand why they are learning and receiving education, I was researching their life course looking at important experiences and transitions. I was interested in their motivation for autonomous learning and for participating in non-formal education. I have found out that the factors, which affect their motivation for learning and education are of key importance. I was also interested in different obstacles that older adults face while learning and/or taking part in education and possible reasons for unwillingness for autonomous learning or taking part in non-formal education. Through my master thesis, I have established that older adults can be highly motivated for autonomous learning, which they can also self-regulate, as for non-formal education, despite various obstacles. For all the interviewed older adults, the main motivation comes from their interests, linked to their previous life experiences. For the ones that take part in non-formal education, an important reason is also socialising. Above all other things, what was demonstrated was, that older adults, that are motivated for learning, are curious, love to learn and have a desire for knowledge and acquiring new information. My findings show me that these internal reasons are of vital importance for lifelong learning and education of individuals

AUTOMATION OF CNC MACHINE TURRET HEAD WITH ASYNCHRONOUS MOTOR

Diplomska naloga predstavlja proces avtomatizacije revolverske glave za stroj CNC. Avtomatizacija je izvedena v smislu izbire strojne opreme, konfiguriranja naprav in programiranja krmilnika. Za pravilno delovanje stroja CNC z revolversko glavo smo sprogramirali programirljiv logični krmilnik v standardnem programskem paketu SIMATIC STEP 7. S programom HMI PRO CS smo konfigurirali izgled nadzorne plošče za lažjo komunikacijo človek-stroj. Na koncu smo izvedli tudi zagon in uspešno testiranje delovanja revolverske glave.The diploma wok describes the automation process of a turret head for a CNC machine. Automation was carried out in terms of selecting the hardware, device configuration, and controller programming. For the correct operation of a CNC machine with a turret head, we wrote software for the programmable logical controller in the SIMATIC STEP 7 standard software package. By using the HMI PRO program, we configured the appearance of a control panel to facilitate human-machine communication. In the end, we carried out a commissioning and a successful test of the turret head operation

Managing logistics process for CNC processing in business unit Talum castings in Talum d.d.

V magistrski nalogi Obvladovanje logističnega procesa pri managementu obvladovanja orodij za CNC mehansko obdelavo v poslovni enoti Ulitki podjetja Talum d. d. smo reševali problematiko optimizacije zalog. V teoretičnem delu smo predstavili temeljne pojme, ki so pomembni za lažje razumevanje magistrskega dela. Osredotočili smo se na logistiko in zaloge. Po teoretičnih trditvah smo vse preizkusili še v praksi. Najprej smo predstavili podjetje Talum d. d. in poslovno enoto Ulitki, v nadaljevanju pa logistične procese znotraj podjetja Talum d. d. Prišli smo do zaključka, da bi v podjetju lahko optimizirali zaloge in posledično znižali logistične stroške. Rešitev smo predlagali z izračuni s pomočjo programa ASDN. Primerjali smo različne scenarije in opazovali vedenje zalog ob spremembah vhodnih podatkov. Podjetju smo predlagali določene rešitve, ne samo za reševanje problematike zalog, ampak smo se dotaknili tudi drugih logističnih procesov.In paper Managing logistics process for CNC processing in business unit Talum castinsgs in Talum d. d. we have been solving optimization of stocks. In theoretical part we presented fundemental terms that are necessary for easier understanding of paper. Our focus were on logistic and stocks. After the theoretical part we test everything in practice to see how it works. Firstly we introduced company Talum d.d. along with bussines unit Talum Casting. Furthermore we presented logistic process within company Talum d.d. itself. We have come to a conclusion that the company can optimize stocks which would show in lowering of logistic costs. Optimization was made based on ASDN program. We compared different scenarios on how stocks behave based on the change of input data. We have proposed certain solutions not only with solving stock issue but also with approach with other logistic processes

Modeling the user experience management process

Tema ovog završnog rada jest razrada procesa primjenom različitih modela upravljanja korisničkim iskustvom. Na početku u uvodnom dijelu biti će navedeni osnovni koncepti modeliranja koji će se zatim detaljno teorijski opisati, to jest, prikazati metodike i okvire u kojima se koristi, zatim same metode korisničkog iskustva i potkrijepiti primjerima svaki od navedenih koncepata. Nakon toga biti će objašnjena veza između tehnologije i korisničkog iskustva, te kako je razvoj tehnologije pridonio razvoju samog korisničkog iskustva. Transformacijski učinci su također važno poglavlje korisničkog iskustva koje će biti pojašnjeno u ovome radu. Digitalna transformacija je pojam usko vezan sa modeliranjem korisničkog iskustva, pa će se pojasniti veza između ta dva pojma

Identification and analysis of different stakeholders' roles of digital platforms

Digitalne platforme, kao što su društvene mreže, online trgovine, sustavi za učenje i ostale platforme koje se zasnivaju na digitalnoj transformaciji imaju sve značajniju ulogu u suvremenom društvu. Povećanjem njihove popularnosti i sveprisutnosti postaje sve važnije razumjeti pojedine uloge dionika u radu digitalnih platformi. Opseg tih dionika je širok, sve od stvaratelja pojedinih platforma, ljudi koji razvijaju i održavaju iste, pa preko posrednika sve do krajnjih korisnika. Identificiranje i analiza uloga ovih dionika može pružiti uvid u složene interakcije unutar digitalnih platformi, kao i njihov utjecaj na društvo i gospodarstvo u cjelini. U tom smislu, razmotren je i analiziran svaki dionik zajedno sa svojim vrijednostima i rizicima koje svojim postojanjem na digitalnoj platformi stvara i donosi na istu
