This paper focuses the research on the Influence of Sponsor-Event Congruence toward Brand Image, Attitudes toward the Brand and Purchase Intention. Having reviewed the literatures and arranged the hypotheses, the data has been gathered by distributing the questionnaire to 155 audiences at the Java Jazz Music Festival, firstly with convenience sampling and then snowballing sampling approach. The analysis of data was executed with Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). The result shows the sponsor-event congruence variable has a positive impact toward brand image and attitudes toward the brand sponsor. Brand Image also has a positive impact toward purchase intention; in contrary attitudes toward the brand do not have a positive purchase intention. With those results, to increase the sponsorship effectiveness, the role of congruency is very significant in the sponsorship event. Congruency is a key influencer to trigger the sponsorship effectiveness. Congruency between the event and the sponsor is able to boost up the brand image and bring out favorable attitudes towards the brand for the success of marketing communication programs, particularly sponsorship. In addition to it, image transfer gets higher due to the congruency existence (fit) between sponsor and event and directs the intention creation to buy sponsor brand product/service (purchase intention). In conclusion, sponsor-event congruence has effect on consumer responds toward sponsorship, either on the cognitive level, affective and also behavior

Nonwoven plastic is a new material for packaging that has some special quality among the other things such as flexible, higher strength, hydrophob, breathable and hygienes. The technology of nonwoven plastic is spunbond technolog which is a clean technology and produce a non fibre product. The raw material of nonwoven plastic is food grade polypropylene, so that the products are safe for food packaging. Recently just pioneered of nonwoven plastic application as innerliner of plastic sack that can replace “karung goni”as rice packaging and replace cotton sack as meal or flour packaging. Therefore grains that have not been prepared yet, respiration activity is very important to be breathable characteristic of nonwoven plastic is able to support air circulation very well and also to keep humidity balance in the packaging. At the flour packaging, beside hydrophob characteristic, however breathable characteristic is necessary too because flour has a tendency to absorb water and flour stability must be kept at 13.5 – 14% moisture content. The first experiment was taken by PT. Boma Internusa concerning with rice storage that use nonwoven plastic packaging as innerliner of plastic sack during 2 months, and analysis showed that the rice did not smell, louse unfolding was decrease 9fumigation cost was low), yellow grains and broken grains were decrease and did not occur any change of color. In the experiment of flour storage during 3 months gave an analysis that flour wsa still having good condition and fulfilled the standard trade

Systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) is characterized by the presence of anti-nuclear antibodies (ANAs). The identification of ANA has considerable importance in diagnosis and management of patients with autoimmune diseases. The aims of this study were to compare the validity of ANA in the screening of SLE by estimated sensitivity, specificity, positive predictive values (PPV) and negative predictive values (NPV), and coefficient of agreement between FANA and ANA-ELISA.Sixty female outpatients suspected SLE, who fulfilled 2 or 3 of 11 criterias American College of Rheumatology (ACR) 1997, aged between 15-45 years old, from the Department of Internal Medicine Dokter Hasan Sadikin General Hospital (RSHS) Bandung were selected for this study. In this study, antibodies to nuclear antigens in all patients serum specimens were identified by qualitative FANA and ANA-ELISA. The data was analyzed by diagnostic test. The diagnosis of SLE was establised in 40 patients, 39 had FANA positive, 38 had ANA-ELISA positive. The validity of FANA vs ANA-ELISA were: Sensitivity 97,5% vs 95%; Specificity 20% vs 45%; PPV 70,9% vs 77,5%; NPV 80% vs 80,8%; 0,215467 vs 0,449409.Conclusions: The Sensitivity of the two methods were high, but ANA-ELISA was more spesific and significant (k: 0,449409; p: 0.0001670) in diagnosis of patients with Systemic lupus erythematosus

Influence of design parameters on occurence of oil whirl

    Get PDF
Oil whirl instability is a serious problem in oil lubricated journal bearings. The phenomenon is characterized by a subsynchronous vibration of the journal within the bush and is particularly apparent in turbogenerators, aeroengines and electric motors. A review is presented of previous papers on the subject of oil whirl, and a simple theory is described which was used to aid the design of an oil whirl test rig. Predictions of the onset of oil whirl made by the theory presented were found to agree with those of previous researchers. They showed that increasing the shaft flexibility, or the lubricant viscosity, and decreasing the bearing radial clearance tended to reduce the oil whirl onset speed thus making the system more unstable

Since exhaust plumes affect vehicle base environment (pressure and heat loads) and the orbiter vehicle aerodynamic control surface effectiveness, an intensive program involving detailed analytical and experimental investigations of the exhaust plume/vehicle interaction was undertaken as a pertinent part of the overall space shuttle development program. The program, called the Plume Technology program, has as its objective the determination of the criteria for simulating rocket engine (in particular, space shuttle propulsion system) plume-induced aerodynamic effects in a wind tunnel environment. The comprehensive experimental program was conducted using test facilities at NASA's Marshall Space Flight Center and Ames Research Center. A post-test examination of some of the experimental results obtained from NASA-MSFC's 14 x 14-inch trisonic wind tunnel is presented. A description is given of the test facility, simulant gas supply system, nozzle hardware, test procedure and test matrix. Analysis of exhaust plume flow fields and comparison of analytical and experimental exhaust plume data are presented

Supersonic Flow of Chemically Reacting Gas-Particle Mixtures. Volume 2: RAMP - A Computer Code for Analysis of Chemically Reacting Gas-Particle Flows

A computer program written in conjunction with the numerical solution of the flow of chemically reacting gas-particle mixtures was documented. The solution to the set of governing equations was obtained by utilizing the method of characteristics. The equations cast in characteristic form were shown to be formally the same for ideal, frozen, chemical equilibrium and chemical non-equilibrium reacting gas mixtures. The characteristic directions for the gas-particle system are found to be the conventional gas Mach lines, the gas streamlines and the particle streamlines. The basic mesh construction for the flow solution is along streamlines and normals to the streamlines for axisymmetric or two-dimensional flow. The analysis gives detailed information of the supersonic flow and provides for a continuous solution of the nozzle and exhaust plume flow fields. Boundary conditions for the flow solution are either the nozzle wall or the exhaust plume boundary
