Event structure semantics for multiparty sessions
We propose an interpretation of multiparty sessions as "Flow Event Structures", which allows concurrency within sessions to be explicitly represented. We show that this interpretation is equivalent, when the multiparty sessions can be described by global types, to an interpretation of such global types as "Prime Event Structures"
Concurrent Reversible Sessions
We present a calculus for concurrent reversible multiparty sessions, which improves on recent proposals in several respects: it allows for concurrent and sequential composition within processes and types, it gives a compact representation of the past of processes and types, which facilitates the definition of rollback, and it implements a fine-tuned strategy for backward computation. We propose a refined session type system for our calculus and show that it enforces the expected properties of session fidelity, forward and backward progress, as well as causal consistency. In conclusion, our calculus is a conservative extension of previous proposals, offering enhanced expressive power and refined analysis techniques
Partner selection strategies of SMEs for reaching the Sustainable Development Goals
The paper aims to investigate the characteristics of SMEs' partners that can better contribute
to the achievement of the SDGs. Given the explorative nature of this research, a qualitative
methodology is adopted, with a longitudinal case study employed as the research
method. The Wråd case study confirmed that SMEs can contribute to the achievement of
the SDGs by developing partnerships with multiple stakeholders. In addition, this research
revealed that the characteristics of the SMEs' partners can be referred to the four following
dimensions: economic, environmental, social and purpose. Furthermore, it proposed that
quality utility value, technique level, profitability are the subdimensions of the economic
dimension and that resource consumption efficiency, pollution production, energy efficiency,
environment management system and environment equipment and facilities are the
subdimensions of the environmental dimension. This research expressed also that public
health, employee engagement, brand reputation and local communities’ influence are the
subdimensions of the social dimension. Finally, it underlined that sustainability-oriented
awareness development, sustainable orientation, sustainable collective culture, proactive
managerial skills, organisational learning and proactive and innovative leadership are the
subdimensions of the purpose dimension. In line with previous studies underlining the
importance of increasing the TBL dimensions, this study suggests a further extension of
this theory with the "purpose" dimension. This study highlights the importance of developing
a vision supported by a social awareness of the problems that need to be addressed and
that transcend the fashion sector. Further researches could explore a larger sample of SMEs
operating in different businesses and the point of view of the SME's partners.Open access funding provided by Università degli Studi di Verona within the CRUI-CARE Agreement
Global Types with Internal Delegation
This paper investigates a new form of delegation for multiparty session calculi. Usually, delegation allows a session participant to appoint a participant in another session to act on her behalf. This means that delegation is inherently an inter-session mechanism, which requires session interleaving. Hence delegation falls outside the descriptive power of global types, which specify single sessions. As a consequence, properties such as deadlock-freedom or lock-freedom are difficult to ensure in the presence of delegation. Here we adopt a different view of delegation, by allowing participants to delegate tasks to each other within the same multiparty session. This way, delegation occurs within a single session (internal delegation) and may be captured by its global type. To increase flexibility in the use of delegation, our calculus uses connecting communications, which allow optional participants in the branches of choices. By these means, we are able to express conditional delegation. We present a session type system based on global types with internal delegation, and show that it ensures the usual safety properties of multiparty sessions, together with a progress property

As a guide for the development of activities in the framework of cooperative learning, organization and outlining requirements, identification of learning processes, with the corresponding function of teaching and guidance for teachers, is that interest the student intends by the process and the results. Developing Territorial Identity: The Experience of Historical Italian Companies
This study aims to contribute to the development of the knowledge on intangibles management by analysing the territorial identity concept from a strategic competitiveness perspective. The purpose of this study is especially to clarify the territorial identity concept by exploring and highlighting its dimensions and determinants. This study considers the perspective of two historical Italian companies that have long been embedded in their territory. By integrating a literature analysis with well-documented case studies, this paper proposes a conceptual framework to capture and explain what companies can develop at the local level in order to improve territorial identity
Features of good practice for safeguarding and valorising intangible cultural heritage: the Tocat\uec International Festival of Street Games
Purpose of the paper: The aim of this paper is to analyse the extent to which the uniquely successful Tocat\uec International Festival of Street Games, which has been promoted by the Associazione Giochi Antichi (Traditional Games Association) since 2003, can be considered an example of good practice for safeguarding an intangible cultural heritage, and the factors underlying its success. Methodology: The qualitative approach of this paper is based on a case study. The data were collected by conducting in-depth interviews of the organizers of the Tocati International Festival. Results: The results confirmed the working hypothesis and highlighted the determinants of the success of the Festival in safeguarding the intangible cultural heritage of traditional games. Limitations: The case analysis only considers the perspective of the promoter of the event. Future research should be extended it to include the perspectives of other stakeholders. Practical implications: Although the findings indicate that the event cannot be standardised or easily reproduced, they do identify a number of factors that can favour the success of a cultural festival. Originality of the paper: As there are no published models for evaluating cultural events as good practices, the findings of this study can contribute to the open debate on this topic
