From Stochastic Differential Equations to Quantum Field Theory
Covariant stochastic partial (pseudo-)differential equations are studied in
any dimension. In particular a large class of covariant interacting local
quantum fields obeying the Morchio-Strocchi system of axioms for indefinite
quantum field theory is constructed by solving the analysed equations. The
associated random cosurface models are discussed and some elementary properties
of them are outlined.Comment: 11 pages, Latex, to appear in: Reports On Mathematical Physics No.X

Measurement-induced geometric measures of correlations based on the trace distance for two-qubit X states
We apply the modified Brodutch and Modi method of constructing geometric measures of correlations to obtain analytical expressions for measurement-induced geometric classical and quantum correlations based on the trace distance for two-qubit X states. Moreover, we study continuity of the classical and quantum correlations for these states. In particular, we show that these correlations may not be continuous
From quantum to quantum via decoherence
Blanchard P, Lugiewicz P, Olkiewicz R. From quantum to quantum via decoherence. PHYSICS LETTERS A. 2003;314(1-2):29-36.Various physical effects resulting from decoherence are discussed in the algebraic framework. In particular, it is shown that the environment may induce not only classical properties like superselection rules, pointer states or even classical behavior of the quantum system, but, what is more, it also allows the transition from statistical description of infinite quantum systems to quantum mechanics of systems with a finite number of degrees of freedom. It is shown that such transition holds for the quantum spin system in the thermodynamic limit interacting with the phonon field. (C) 2003 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved
