Numerical Modelling Of The V-J Combinations Of The T Cell Receptor TRA/TRD Locus
T-Cell antigen Receptor (TR) repertoire is generated through rearrangements of V and J genes encoding α and β chains. The quantification and frequency for every V-J combination during ontogeny and development of the immune system remain to be precisely established. We have addressed this issue by building a model able to account for Vα-Jα gene rearrangements during thymus development of mice. So we developed a numerical model on the whole TRA/TRD locus, based on experimental data, to estimate how Vα and Jα genes become accessible to rearrangements. The progressive opening of the locus to V-J gene recombinations is modeled through windows of accessibility of different sizes and with different speeds of progression. Furthermore, the possibility of successive secondary V-J rearrangements was included in the modelling. The model points out some unbalanced V-J associations resulting from a preferential access to gene rearrangements and from a non-uniform partition of the accessibility of the J genes, depending on their location in the locus. The model shows that 3 to 4 successive rearrangements are sufficient to explain the use of all the V and J genes of the locus. Finally, the model provides information on both the kinetics of rearrangements and frequencies of each V-J associations. The model accounts for the essential features of the observed rearrangements on the TRA/TRD locus and may provide a reference for the repertoire of the V-J combinatorial diversity
Diagnosis gaming computer addiction
The article deals with the prevalence of use of the computer addiction among students and its influence on their physiological and psychological state. The study was conducted by polling the students studying information technologies in a technical university of the city of Minsk using the questionnaire developed by us. All in all 232 students were questioned. It was established that in 38.4 % the duration of their visits to the virtual world makes 40 and more hours per week; the rest 61.6 % spend there from 1 to 39 hours a week. 90.2 % is engaged in computer games. The preference analysis in the choice of the goal of the gamer’s character actions in a computer game was conducted. The aspiration to destruction has been revealed in 38.6 %. The anonymous screening study conducted allows us to make the conclusion on a wide use of computer games in the students’ environment and its substantial impact on the gamers’ state of health

Use of the neural network in processing of medical images and calculation of volume of the eye
4–8 %. The results of studies on the development and implementation in the form of a software tool for searching eyeballs and bone structures of the orbits are presented. To achieve the goal, deep neural network training was used. It is shown that the error in calculating the orbit volumes based on the results of the recognition of orbits by the neural network is 4-8%
Genomewide production of multipurpose alleles for the functional analysis of the mouse genome
A type of retroviral gene trap vectors has been developed that can induce conditional mutations in most genes expressed in mouse embryonic stem (ES) cells. The vectors rely on directional site-specific recombination systems that can repair and reinduce gene trap mutations when activated in succession. After the gene traps are inserted into the mouse genome, genetic mutations can be produced at a particular time and place in somatic cells. In addition to their conditional features, the vectors create multipurpose alleles amenable to a wide range of postinsertional modifications. Here we have used these directional recombination vectors to assemble the largest library of ES cell lines with conditional mutations in single genes yet assembled, presently totaling 1,000 unique genes. The trapped ES cell lines, which can be ordered from the German Gene Trap Consortium, are freely available to the scientific community
