    Elaboração de planos de aulas para educação física: a percepção discente

    The lesson plan is extremely important for teaching activities, but little is discussed about the items that compose it, as well as the practical aspects of its elaboration. The focus of the discussion centered on theoretical foundations that are also indispensable, but which have already been well discussed. The reflection can be broadened, discussing important items for the registration and systematization of the production of knowledge in the area of Physical Education, through the lesson plans. The aim of this study was to compare the perception of beginning and finishing students of a Licentiate degree in Physical Education on the importance of the items that make up a lesson plan, as well as discuss these items considering practical aspects of the elaboration of a lesson plan. This is an exploratory-descriptive study, with a sample of 15 graduates with a real possibility of completing the course (concluding group) and 15 graduates of the first and second periods (beginning group) of both sexes, who received a lined paper with the request to assemble a lesson plan with the content of their choice. For the analysis of the lesson plans, the researchers had at their disposal a list of items previously listed after study. For the statistical analysis of the data, the chi-square test was used, being adopted a level of significance of 5%. The “description of activities” was the only item that all students perceived as important and presented in their plans. The second most remembered item was the setting of objectives for class. The counterpoint was the lack of suggestion of “bibliographical references” and “space for comments and reflections after class”. Finally, much still needs to be discussed about the other items that make up a lesson plan that should not be limited to a description of the activities proposed for class

    Polymer Nanocomposites

    The development of polymer nanocomposites has advanced, especially due to their new properties after nanoparticle incorporation. Many nanocomposites composed of synthetic polymers and/or biopolymers have been studied after incorporation of a diversity of nanoparticles, which differ in form, shape, surface area and chemical organization. In this chapter, some examples of nanocomposites based on poly-vinyl alcohol (PVA); polycarbonate (PC) and matrixes of dental resins are presented. These nanocomposites could be obtained by three basic methods: in situ polymerization, solution casting and melt extrusion. The best method is determined by the relation and route to the polymer-nanoparticle pair. The dispersion and distribution of nanoparticles in the polymer matrix is the key to obtaining new materials with synergism of compounds properties. This synergism depends on how strong is the intermolecular interaction between the polymer matrix and nanoparticles. The evaluation of new nano systems can be done by different techniques, usually microscopy, X-ray diffraction, thermal analysis and so on. Low-field NMR relaxometry has been used to evaluate polymer nanocomposites. This technique provides valuable information related to the interaction of the nanoparticles with the polymer matrix, and it also indicates the dispersion and distribution of these nanoparticles in the matrix

    Response of tanzânia grass to acid whey application

    O objetivo deste trabalho foi avaliar a produção de matéria seca e a quantidade de nutrientes extraída por Panicum maximum Jacq. cv. Tanzânia adubado com soro ácido de leite. Amostras de um Argissolo foram coletadas nas profundidades de 0-20, 20-40 e 40-60 cm e colocadas em colunas de PVC compostas por três anéis correspondentes a cada camada. As doses de soro foram definidas com base na concentração de K, de modo a adicionar ao solo 0, 75, 150, 225 e 300 kg/ha de K2O em cada uma das três aplicações: antes da semeadura, após o primeiro e após o segundo corte. O experimento foi realizado em casa de vegetação em delineamento inteiramente ao acaso, durante 112 dias. Após esse período, as colunas foram desmontadas e o solo foi amostrado para análise. A aplicação de soro aumentou a produção de matéria seca; a produção máxima teórica total dos três cortes foi obtida com a aplicação acumulada de 390 m3/ha. As quantidades de K, P e Ca absorvidas pela planta e o teor de K no solo aumentaram significativamente com as doses de soro.The objective of this work was to evaluate the dry matter production and nutrient uptake by Panicum maximum Jacq. cv. Tanzânia fertilized with acid whey. Soil samples of an Alfisol were collected in 0-20 cm, 20-40 cm and 40-60 cm layers and were used to fill PVC columns with three rings with 20 cm height, obeying the collecting depth. The doses of whey were based on its K content and 0, 75, 150, 225 and 300 kg/ha K2O were added in each application: the first one applied before sowing, the second after the first cut and the third after the second cut. The experiment was carried out in a greenhouse in a completely randomized design during 112 days. After this period, the rings of the columns were separated and soil samples were taken for analysis. The dry matter production increased with whey application and the total maximum theoretical production was obtained with the cumulative application of 390 m3/ha. The K, P, and Ca uptake by the grass and soil K increased with whey application

    Introdução: O transtorno do espectro autista (TEA) é ocasionado por uma alteração no sistema nervoso central que se manifesta desde a infância apresentando sintomas característicos que interferem no desenvolvimento comportamental e social. Dentre as diferentes estratégias de intervenções da educação física com autistas, as atividades aquáticas demonstram melhora em diferentes aspectos. Objetivo: avaliar as adaptações psicossociais de três alunos, com idades de 8 a 16 anos, diagnosticados com TEA e participantes de um programa de atividades aquáticas ao longo de 10 semanas. Métodos: foram utilizados três instrumentos para a avaliação: o histórico de intervenções multidisciplinares, aspectos comportamentais e observação das aulas. Resultados: em decorrência das intervenções aquáticas, os alunos apresentaram adaptações individuais em habilidades relacionadas aos nados livre e costas, e melhoraram nos aspectos de interação social, movimentos estereotipados, comunicação e hiperatividade acentuada. Conclusão: concluir-se que a prática regular da natação para pessoas diagnosticadas com TEA, estimula o ensino das técnicas, bem como, contribui na melhoria dos aspectos comportamentais, psíquicos e sociais

Trata-se de um estudo qualitativo que utilizou como instrumento uma entrevista semiestruturada. Com base nos resultados ? poss?vel afirmar que as escolas n?o assumem o compromisso de planejar e aplicar estrat?gias que possam prevenir o fen?meno do bullying. Os dados tamb?m indicam que a forma??o inicial pode ter sido deficiente na prepara??o de professores para compreender e combater esse tipo de viol?ncia. Esperase que este estudo possa levar ? reflex?o n?o somente os professores envolvidos, mas tamb?m as institui??es de ensino superior assim como as escolas para que o bullying seja corretamente estudado e combatido.The objective of this study was to investigate the perception of Physical Education teachers about the occurrence of bullying in the schools that act and to list the actions used to prevent the problem. A semistructured interview was the instrument used in this qualitative study. Based on the results, it is possible to affirm that schools are not committed to planning and applying strategies that can prevent the phenomenon of bullying. The data also indicate that initial training may have been deficient in preparing teachers to understand and combat such violence. It is hoped that this study may lead to reflection not only the teachers involved, but also higher education institutions as well as schools so that the bullying is properly studied and combated

Trata-se de um estudo qualitativo que utilizou como instrumento uma entrevista semiestruturada. Com base nos resultados é possível afirmar que as escolas não assumem o compromisso de planejar e aplicar estratégias que possam prevenir o fenômeno do bullying. Os dados também indicam que a formação inicial pode ter sido deficiente na preparação de professores para compreender e combater esse tipo de violência.     Study of the hepatic function of exercised and nutritionally recovered animals.

    The goal of the present work was to study the hepatic function of animals in a process of nutritional recovery associated or not with physical exercise (swimming 30 minutes/day during 8 weeks). Fifty two female Fisher rats were divided into six groups: Control Sedentary (CS), Control Trained (CT), Recovered Sedentary (RS), Recovered Trained (RT), Malnourished Sedentary (MS) and Malnourished Trained (MT). We have concluded that the protocol of nutritional recovery was efficient in promoting the recovery of body weight of the animals RS but exercise did not change this picture. Considering the activities of aminotransferases, alkaline phosphatase and the concentration of globulins, data suggest hepatic injure in the malnourished animals, and this has not occurred with recovered ones

    Application of the Lean Manufacturing principles to eliminate losses in a productive process

    The principles of Lean Manufacturing are globally widespread in the industrial environment, and its practices are applied for the value stream mapping, for identification and elimination of waste and for cost reduction. In addition, quality tools are analysis and decision-making mechanisms that assist in the understanding and correct resolution of problems in productive processes. Therefore, this work aims to reduce the packaging waste index in an industrial unit in the state of Sergipe, having as support the application of quality tools in conjunction with the Lean Manufacturing principles through a case study. As results, there was a 12.1% reduction in the annual loss percentage index of packaging through the implementation of improvement actions, among other indicators. Moreover, non-measurable results were obtained, such as an improvement in the communication between different sectors of the company and greater visibility of the losses indicators in the unit. Finally, the methodological steps adopted in the work can be adapted and applied in other contexts, especially related to the manufacturing field
