L’usage de la référence révolutionnaire : les interprétations de la « Révolution orange » en Ukraine

    Get PDF

The article describes the adaptation of the apocryphal Gospels motif—the revival of clay birds by Jesus—in the folk traditions of Eastern and Western Slavs. The texts of folk legends demonstrate not only the active inclusion of apocryphal motifs in oral narratives, but they also incorporate the motifs’ biblical contexts and they emphasize themes that are close to everyday life and that reflect local history. The folklore texts analyzed here are from different regions of the Slavic world (Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, and Poland); they allow us to conclude that the oral tradition has retained, with great stability, these fragments from medieval sources up to the present day. Moreover, it is interesting to note the different interpretations of the same motif in monuments of Christian and Jewish literature (apocryphal Gospels and the pamphlet Toledot Yeshu). The fairly large group of folk legends with apocryphal motifs, occurring in different Slavic traditions from the 19th to the 21st centuries, thus testifies not only to the continued relevance of the biblical plots for oral culture, but also to the importance of the Apocrypha for the broadcasting and preservation of biblical stories in the folk tradition.

The use of Plan-Do-Study-Act (PDSA) cycle in perfection of fracture liaison service work

Background: Secondary fracture prevention services (FLS) have been established around the world during several last years. However, due to the differences of medical care organization in different regions, it is difficult to offer a unified approach of the structure and separate components of such services, which could be used everywhere. It is recommended to apply the Plan-Do-Study-Act (PDSA) cycle to evaluate the FLS in the institution. Aim: To study the application of the PDSA cycle in the optimization of FLS working in Yaroslavl. Materials and methods: We evaluated the effectiveness of FLS organization which was created in the Emergency medical care hospital n.a. N. V. Solovyov at two stages of its development: at the first stage we worked using the principle by referral of a traumatologist, at the second stage we used a dedicated coordinator. We used the questionnaire Best Practice framework for assessment. We also used PDSA cycle to analyze and evaluate the effectiveness of FLS organization. Results: At the stage by referral of a traumatologist we revealed problems with patients identification, timing of assessment after a fracture, low frequency of initiation of osteoporosis therapy, lack of a falls prevention system and problems with a database. After the analysis and revealing shortcomings weve made several changes in the organization of our FLS. First of all we introduced a dedicated coordinator-nurse in the staff of FLS.The following analysis showed that significant improvements had been made in all revealed directions. The following application of the PDSA cycle again identified several issues of FLS organization requiring improvement. Conclusion: Thus, the use of the PDSA cycle during the organization of FLS is a tool of effective control and establishment of an effective care system for patients with low-energy fractures

Prospects for increasing exports of Russian wheat to the world market

The article discusses the development of wheat export, which is the main grain crop in the structure of production and export of Russia. The record crop of grain crops in 2017 provided a good basis for the activation of Russian grain exporters in the world market. An analysis of geographical areas by source of grain export showed that crop growth allowed Russia to become a leader, as the main North American and European competitors experienced certain difficulties that led to a reduction in their export potential. The main geographical areas in which there is an increase in demand for wheat are the countries of Africa and Asia, whose population needs a more affordable form of food, which have become the main importers for Russian wheat along with Egypt and Turkey. Russia mainly exports low-grade wheat of the 4th and 5th grade; therefore, such wheat at a lower price and relatively high level of protein content is competitive in a number of foreign markets. The key problems for the export of Russian wheat are unstable gross grain harvests in Russia, which determine the search for innovative-intensive methods of increasing the yield and its stability, and the development of transport and logistics infrastructure. It is necessary to increase port capacities due to the Baltic and Far East directions in the context of political contradictions between Russia and Turkey and expanding the geography of wheat supplies to Africa and Southeast Asia for Russia makes sense. This will not only increase the competitiveness of exports, but also create additional incentives to increase grain production in a number of regions of the country remote from the Azov-Black Sea ports
