Influence of fitness technologies on the student youth’s physical qualities development
El artículo estudia la influencia de las tecnologías modernas de fitness en el nivel de desarrollo de las cualidades físicas de los estudiantes de ambos sexos. 232 estudiantes (88 hombres y 144 mujeres) participaron en la investigación. Se formaron dos grupos experimentales (GE, 47 hombres y 71 mujeres) y dos grupos de control (GC, 41 hombres y 73 mujeres). Los estudiantes de GC participaron en el sistema tradicional de educación física, y los estudiantes de GE en el sistema metódico experimental, basado en los tipos modernos de tecnologías de acondicionamiento físico. Las pruebas de aptitud física de los estudiantes se llevaron a cabo de acuerdo con ejercicios que caracterizan el desarrollo de cualidades físicas. The article studies the influence of modern fitness technologies on the level of development of the physical qualities of students of both sexes. 232 students (88 men and 144 women) participated in the research. Two experimental groups (GE, 47 men and 71 women) and two control groups (GC, 41 men and 73 women) were formed. GC students participated in the traditional physical education system, and GE students in the experimental methodical system, based on modern types of fitness technologies. The physical fitness tests of the students were carried out in accordance with exercises that characterize the development of physical qualities
Metal micro-detectors: development of “transparent” position sensitive detector for beam diagnostics
Metal Micro-strip Detector (MMD) represents a novel position sensitive detector for wide range of applications. The main advantages of MMD are low thickness, high radiation resistance and high spatial resolution. MMD production technology includes some stages: micro-strip layout made by photo-lithography on silicon wafer, plasma-chemistry etching of the silicon wafer in the operating window, micro-cabling connection to the readout electronics and DAQ. Commercially available read-out systems (VA_SCM3 microchip preamplifier, Time Pix readout chip, Gotthard, X-DAS) have been studied for use with MMD. Characterization studies of the MMD are presented in details.Металлический микростриповый детектор (ММД) представляет собой новый позиционно- чувствительный детектор для широкого спектра применений. Основные преимущества ММД: малая толщина, высокая радиационная стойкость, высокое пространственное разрешение. Технология производства ММД включает в себя несколько этапов: микростриповая структура создается при помощи фотолитографии на кремниевой пластине, плазмо-химическое травление кремниевой пластины в рабочем окне, подключение микро-кабелем к считывающей электронике. Коммерчески доступные системы считывания и обработки данных (VA_SCM3, TimePix, Gotthard, X-DAS) были изучены для использования с ММД. Представлены результаты исследований MMD на пучках разных частиц.Металевий мікростріповий детектор (ММД) являє собою новий позиційно-чутливий детектор для широкого спектру застосувань. Основні переваги ММД: мала товщина, висока радіаційна стійкість, висока просторова роздільна здатність. Технологія виробництва ММД включає в себе кілька етапів: мікростріпова структура створюється за допомогою фотолітографії на кремнієвій пластині, плазмо-хімічне травлення кремнієвої пластини в робочому вікні, підключення мікро-кабелем до зчитуючої електроніки. Комерційно доступні системи зчитування й обробки даних (VA_SCM3, TimePix, Gotthard, X-DAS) були вивчені для використання з ММД. Представлено результати дослідження MMD на пучках різних частинок
Criteria for assessing the physical readiness of patrol police officers to perform the activities.
El artículo analiza las peculiaridades de las actividades de los agentes de policía de patrulla y confirma los requisitos para su preparación física. Se caracterizan los factores desfavorables que conducen al deterioro del nivel de aptitud física de los agentes de policía de patrulla. Se determina que los criterios existentes para evaluar el nivel de preparación física de los agentes de policía de patrulla no tienen plenamente en cuenta los detalles de sus actividades. Según la investigación realizada, identificamos indicadores y criterios que caracterizan el nivel de preparación física de los oficiales de policía de patrulla: estado físico general, resistencia estática de los músculos centrales y nivel de desarrollo de las habilidades en las tácticas de defensa personal. The article analyzes the peculiarities of the patrol police officers’ activities and substantiates the requirements for their physical readiness. The unfavorable factors of their activities which lead to the deterioration of the physical fitness level of patrol police officers are characterized. It is determined that the existing criteria for assessing the physical readiness level of patrol police officers do not fully take into account the specifics of their activities. According to the research conducted, we identified indicators and criteria that characterize the level of the physical readiness of patrol police officers: general physical fitness, static endurance of core muscles, and development level of the skills in the self-defense tactics
Comparative evaluation of laparoscopic splenectomy versus open splenectomy
The aim of research: to study the short-term treatment results in patients with blood diseases, portal hypertension, pathology of the spleen who underwent laparoscopic splenectomy based on the surgical indications in comparison with the treatment results in the patients who underwent open surgery.
Materials and methods. The results of treatment for 50 patients with blood diseases, portal hypertension and pathology of the spleen were analyzed. The main group consisted of 15 patients who underwent laparoscopic splenectomy. The control group comprised 35 patients who underwent open surgery.
Results. The spleen sizes detected on CT in the control group patients were significantly larger in comparison with the spleen sizes in the main group patients. Profuse bleeding as an intraoperative complication was observed in 2 (13.33 %) patients of the main group that was the reason for a conversion. There were no postoperative complications and fatal cases in contrast to the control group.
Conclusions. It has been established that laparoscopic splenectomy should be performed for moderate splenomegaly up to20 cm. To prevent a profuse bleeding during this operation the meticulous hemostasis is needed indefinitely
RMS-R3 – the system for monitoring the region of interactions and background at the LHCB experiment (CERN)
The upgraded Large Hadron Collider beauty (LHCb) detector will provide data taken in Run3 at the instantaneous luminosity of proton-proton collisions increased to 2⋅1033 cm-2s-1 at energies of up to 14 TeV. To ensure the safe operation of the experiment, a new beam and background Radiation Monitoring System (RMS-R3) was built. RMS-R3 is based on metal-foil detector technology developed at the Institute for Nuclear Research, National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine (Kyiv, Ukraine). The system comprises four detector modules with two sensors in each. Their frequency response is proportional to the flux of incident charged particles. The modules are located around the beam pipe at a distance of 2.2 m from the interaction point. The results measured during the Run3 in 2022 testify to the reliable operation of the system. Individual and psychological characteristics must be taken into account during the psychological selection of personnel for law enforcement agencies. The aim of the research is to undertake the comparative analysis of the individual and psychological characteristics of law enforcement officers who carry out various types of law enforcement activities. 986 law enforcement officers engaged in various types of law enforcement activities took part in the research. The research was carried out on the basis of a systematic approach using an optimal set of psychodiagnostic techniques. Professionally significant individual and psychological characteristics of law enforcement officers who undertake various types of service activities were singled out. It was found that the representatives of the criminal police and security police units are emotionally more stable compared to other categories of police officers. On the other hand, high levels of confidence, independence and leadership are expressed among patrol officers and investigators. Police officers in all types of law enforcement activities are particularly characterized by high self-control, responsibility, conscientiousness, thoroughness, and discipline. The obtained data will contribute to the improvement of the mechanism of psychological selection of personnel for modern police organizations.Цель исследования - провести сравнительный анализ индивидуально-психологических особенностей сотрудников правоохранительных органов, осуществляющих различные виды правоохранительной деятельности

The reports collected in these proceedings have been presented in the third
French-Ukrainian workshop on the instrumentation developments for high-energy
physics held at LAL, Orsay on October 15-16. The workshop was conducted in the
scope of the IDEATE International Associated Laboratory (LIA). Joint
developments between French and Ukrainian laboratories and universities as well
as new proposals have been discussed. The main topics of the papers presented
in the Proceedings are developments for accelerator and beam monitoring,
detector developments, joint developments for large-scale high-energy and
