O impacto sobre a informação contábil após a implementação de um sistema integrado de gestão nas Instituições Federais de Ensino Superior

This article presents a research is intended to verify theories that explain the process of implementation of an Integrated System of Administration (ISA) in an organization, analyzing the effects on the use of accounting information. The empiric work based on a case study an organization that implemented of an ISA which main objective is to produce analytical reports integrated. The found evidences support the propositions done by Walton (1993:14) which describes the integration of the information technology and the organization. The results of using the information accounting in this case study evidences the difficulty in expanding the use of this type of information when they are not obtained the success in the implementation of an ISA.Este artigo apresenta uma pesquisa que teve como objetivo verificar teorias que explicam o processo de implementação de um sistema integrado de gestão (SIG) em uma organização, focando os seus efeitos sobre a utilização da informação contábil. Neste trabalho foi utilizada a metodologia de estudo de caso sobre uma organização que implementou um SIG e que tinha como principal objetivo gerar relatórios gerenciais de forma integrada. As evidências encontradas apóiam as proposições feitas por Walton (1993:14) em que descreve a integração da tecnologia da informação e a organização. The present report aims to describe the case of a patient with excoriation disorder and trichotillomania comorbid with schizophrenia. This is a patient diagnosed with schizophrenia more than 30 years ago and who had a stabilized psychic condition. In one of his periodic evaluations, he began to demonstrate compulsive acts of picking at the skin and from then onwards, lesions appeared on the face, upper limbs and scalp with progressive involvement of other regions. The approach of these mental disorders represented a challenge, because despite a growing number of studies, clinical and therapeutic questions remain open

As Catadoras de Mangaba no Programa de Aquisição de Alimentos – PAA: um estudo de caso em Sergipe

This article is about the experience of a group of women in the commercialization of gathered wild fruits through the governmental Food Purchase Program (PAA) in the Brazilian State of Sergipe. The analytical framework is associated to the debate on poverty and specific public policies for traditional communities in rural areas. The women hold a collective identity as the mangaba gatherers, based on their use of common pool resources with low environmental impact. They mobilize themselves through the MCM – Movimento das Catadoras de Mangaba, Mangaba Gatherer Women ́s Movement. Although they have recently been recognized as having specific legal rights, they are experiencing the dwindling of the resources they gather, as well as difficulties in commercialization of the fruits due to their seasonality and the unpredictability of access. The research was carried out between 2008 and 2011 and involved direct and participant observations and open-ended interviews. The main results show that the PAA has contributed to increased income, consumption and self-esteem. There was a re-arrangement in their way of participating in the program, meanwhile some of their traditional practices were relegated. The program rules were re-signified and adapted locally. While growing solidarity has been observed among the gatherers, competition for the fruits has also increased
