Diastolic dysfunction (DD) and cardiac dyssynchrony (DS) are involved in the progression of chronic heart failure (CHF). A comparative analysis was conducted of the effect of a 6-month course of nebivolol and bisoprolol on DD, DS and metalloproteinase-9 (MMP-9) level in patients with ischemic chronic heart failure with preserved ejection fraction (HFpEF) and with midrange ejection fraction (HFmrEF), as well as in patients with comorbid type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) in the setting of coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG) after 6 months of therap

    Get PDF
The narrative structure of the novel “Savely’s Days” by G. Sluzhitel is considered. It is determined that a polyphonic system of narrative instances is expressed in the novel, and the relationship between them is established. Methods of creating a subjective versatility of the text have been studied. It is noted that the genre of memories as a whole retains constant features, which include the methods of creating a chronotope. It embodys the image of a hero, while it is the very feature of the protagonist, who is an unreliable narrator, that leads to the transformation of the classical narration of memories and to the emergence of several subject-speech plans. The relevance of the study is due to the need to study the narrative instances and the originality of their relationship in order to comprehend the narrative space of a work of art. The novelty is seen in the fact that the methods of creating the effect of polyphonic narration are determined on the basis of the material of the modern novel. The observation of the modern writer style formation is carried out. It has been proved that the polyphony of narrative images arises in the novel due to the fact that, technically, the story cannot be conducted only from the point of view of the cat-narrator, since this will significantly limit the discourse. The purpose of polyphony is to look at a modern person from different points of view, including a detached one

The narrative structures of novels written by Ye. CheshirKo and O. Roy are considered. The author characterizes the narrative polyphony: the voice of subjectivized unreliable narrator is supplemented by the voice of an objectified narrator or the voices of other characters, which leads to transformations of the genre basis of the work. It is established that the narrative on behalf of the nonhuman character causes the appearance of the features of magical realism which consist of a special binary chronotope including the characteristics of the contemporary real world and the alternative one, a distinct type of character who is either a representative of the alternative world or a mediator between two worlds. The relevance of the research lies in the need to study narrative instances in the modern prose. The novelty of the study is seen in the fact that on the basis of the modern novels, united by several features, the narrative polyphony and the ways of its creation are characterized. The author explores the stylistic features of the aforementioned novels which have not previously been the subject of thorough literary analysis. It is proved that the polyphony of narrative images expands the possibilities of the plot, style, as well as the view of a person as the subject of the image. The comparative method and the method of intertextual analysis are used in the article

Magical Realism through the Prism of Artistic Conflict

    Get PDF
The question of the conflict in the works of magic realism is considered. It is reported that works of magical realism spread in the twentieth century in the literature of different countries and took a strong position in Russian literature in recent decades. Attention is paid to iconic works in modern Russian literature, written in the  mainstream of magical realism. The results of the analysis of binary oppositions at the level of the chronotope and the system of characters in the works of M. Petrosyan “House in which ...” and E. Nekrasova “Kalechin-Malechin” are presented. With the help of comparative and intertextual methods, it has been proved that the traditional neorealistic conflict of two worlds, characteristic of the literature of the twentieth century, is depicted in works of magical realism, proceeding not from the principle of opposing two worlds, but on the basis of their interpenetration and the dominance of noumenal reality over the fantastic. It is proved that the commonality of  antinomies and binary oppositions paradigmatically unites these works, this allows us to conclude about the unity of the artistic world of magic realism as a reflection of the author’s position. The typological approach, the search for intertextual connections determine the relevance of the study for modern literary criticism. The novelty of the research lies in the fact that the comparison of texts allows one to see the ways of modeling the conflict in its variants, taking into account the specifics of works of magical realism, in addition, both texts have not yet become an object of analysis through the prism of conflict
