    Design of Equipment Rack with TRIZ Method to Reduce Searching Time in Change Over Activity (Case Study : PT. Jans2en Indonesia)

    Janssen is a manufacturing plant that works in furniture assembly. Component shortages often occurs, it will cause the increase of work in process (WIP) in assembly section. In previous studies, we analyze the root causes with FMEA and then it is resulted that router section is the constraint of the system. There are many non value added activities such as searching and transportation caused by a messy condition of work places and the devices that aren’t put in the right place. The impact is that the time allocated for every change over is higher than before. There are many components that are worked by the router section, so improvements are needed to minimize changes in over time. 5S method and the use of a new design of rack by TRIZ method are suggested for fixing the conditions of work environment. It is expected to eliminate non value added activities and changes in over time. Result shows that we can reduce non value activities in change over of regular components up to 41% and the elimination of this time is 41,6%.     Analisis Estimasi Kanal Dengan Menggunakan Metode Invers Matrik Pada Sistem MIMO-OFDM

    Kanal merupakan media transmisi antar pengirim dan penerima. Pada sistem komunikasi berbasiskan nirkabel, kanal memegang peranan penting dalam menentukan kualitas dari proses pengiriman sinyal dari pengirim ke penerima. Terdapat beberapa faktor yang menentukan kualitas komunikasi nirkabel akibat pengaruh kanal, diantara komponen yang mempengaruhi kanal antara lain; kanal terdapat banyak noise (derau), atenuasi (redaman), juga dengan banyaknya jalur yang digunakan, sehingga terjadi redaman yang dikenal dengan istilah multipath fading yang dapat merusak sinyal, sehingga sinyal berubah dari bentuk aslinya. Multipath fading merupakan gejala pelemahan sinyal akibat sinyal dari pengirim melewati berbagai macam jalan, bisa sinyal langsung, terpantul, maupun sinyal yang sudah teredam oleh bahan tertentu, misalnya kaca atau kayu. Penggunaan teknik OFDM dapat meminimilasi pengaruh gejala multipath fading. OFDM merupakan teknik pentransmisian data berkecepatan tinggi dengan menggunakan beberapa sinyal pembawa (carrier) secara paralel. Sedangkan MIMO merupakan teknik dalam proses pentransmisian sinyal dengan menggunakan beberapa antena, baik pada sisi pengirim maupun penerima. Tujuan dari penggunakan teknik multi-antena adalah untuk memaksimalkan proses transmisi data (sinyal) ke penerima. Sehingga penggabungan teknik MIMO-OFDM merupakan suatu teknik transmisi yang mampu menyediakan layanan dengan kecepatan transfer data tinggi serta dapat meminimalisasi akibat pengaruh multipath fading. Dalam proses pendeteksian data pada sisi penerima diperlukan peran dari proses estimasi kanal. Perubahan kondisi kanal yang setiap saat berubah mengakibatkan perlunya proses estimasi kanal disisi perangkat penerima. Salah satu metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah menggunakan teknik invers matrik. Pola penggunaan antena banyak (multi-antena) pada sisi pengirim dan penerima dapat dipolakan dalam bentuk matrik. Sehingga estimasi kanal dengan menggunakan salah satu teknik dalam matrik yaitu invers matrik dapat dimungkinkan. Hasil keluaran dari penelitian adalah membandingkan pengaruh penambahan teknik OFDM dalam proses estimasi kanal menggunakan metode invers matrik pada sistem MIMO. Dari hasil simulasi menunjukkan sistem estimasi kanal menggunakan metode invers matrik MIMO tanpa OFDM, sistem dapat menghasilkan BER 0 (tanpa error) disaat sistem diberikan noise sebesar 12 dB. Artinya sistem MIMO tanpa OFDM hanya tahan sampai adanya noise sebesar 12 dB. Sedangkan untuk sistem MIMO dengan penambahan teknik OFDM menghasilkan nilai BER 0 (tanpa error) disaat diberikan nilai noise sebesar 15 dB

    Sistem pakar adalah cabang kecerdasan buatan yang menggunakan pengetahuan/ knowledge khusus untuk memecahkan masalah pada level human expert/pakar. Salah satu penerapan sistem pakar dalam bidang kedokteran adalah untuk melakukan diagnosa penyakit. Pada penelitian ini dilakukan perancangan dan pembuatan sistem pakar yang digunakan untuk membantu menentukan diagnosa suatu penyakit yang diawali dari gejala utama penyakit pada proses kehamilan serta menentukan saran terapi yang harus diberikan.Masalah ketidakpastian pengetahuan dalam sistem pakar ini diatasi dengan menggunakan metode probabilitas Bayesian. Proses penentuan diagnosa dalam sistem pakar ini diawali dengan sesi konsultasi, dimana sistem akan mengajukan pertanyaan-pertanyaan yang relevan kepada pasien sesuai gejala utama penyakit kehamilan yang dialami pasien.Hasil akhir dari penelitian ini adalah sebuah sistem pakar untuk melakukan diagnosa penyakit kehamilan beserta nilai probabilitas dari penyakit hasil diagnosa, yang menunjukkan tingkat kepercayaan sistem terhadap penyakit tersebut dan saran terapi yang harus diberikan

    Skin Dosimetric Comparison of 3DCRT and IMRT Planning for Post-Mastectomy Breast Radiotherapy

    Breast cancer is the most common cancer for incidence and mortality among females globally and in Indonesia. Mastectomy is still the most common surgery for female breast cancer in Indonesia. After the mastectomy, several patients will receive a whole breast radiotherapy session. About 68.75% of breast cancer patients in the radiotherapy department at Lavalette Hospital during 2019 had undergone the mastectomy. Radiotherapy treatment for breast cancer can be delivered using Intensity Modulated Radiotherapy (IMRT) or 3D-Conformal Radiotherapy (3DCRT) technique. This study is aimed to compare the skin dosimetric between IMRT and 3DCRT for post-mastectomy breast radiotherapy. Left-sided breast cancer patients who underwent radiotherapy at Lavalette Hospital during 2019 were included in this study, and 15 patients were selected. All patients received 50 Gy in 25 fractions over 5 weeks using 6 MV photons. The planning target volume (PTV) and organ at risk (OAR) were delineated. Skin with 3 mm thickness along PTV was also contoured for evaluating the dose delivered to the skin. The treatment planning was conducted using 3DCRT and 5 fields IMRT planning. The plans were optimized for at least 95% of the prescribed dose to cover 95% volume of the PTV. The mean dose and maximum dose were used for evaluating and comparing each plan. The skin’s mean dose from 3DCRT planning was 24.65 ± 4.12 Gy and 22.85 ± 3.68 Gy (p = 0.002) for IMRT planning. Meanwhile, skin maximum doses were 54.15 ± 0.68 Gy and 53.89 ± 1.05 Gy         (p = 0.001) respectively for 3DCRT and IMRT planning. These results showed that IMRT offered a lower dose to the skin and a better skin-sparing effect than 3DCRT

    The aims of this study are to: (1) Describe the institutional of plantation extension in RokanHilir; (2) analyze the performance of plantation extension services in RokanHilir based onextensionworkers and farmers perception. This study was conducted in RokanHilir, the reason for taking this research is because RokanHilir is one of the regency that do not have a special institution to deal with extension activities. The method used to determine the sample in this research was purposive sampling, census, and Yaname Taro formula. Descriptive analysis is used to answer the first question and Likert Scale's Summated Rating (SLR) analysis was used to answer the second aim.The results showed: (1); The field of extension is a field that is responsible for extension activities that have 8 plantationextension, themembers who work in plantation offices are not appropriate with their background , while for the program areas of extension is not running well.(2) the perception of the extension workersperformance extension is in high category as can be seen fromthe responsiveness, responsibility, accountability and quality of service. Meanwhile, according to farmers' perception, the extension workersperformance is in the low category that can be seen from indicators of responsiveness, responsibility, accountability and quality of service

    This research was conducted on 4 to 10 June 2013 in the Cape Betung Jorong Rambahan Nagari South Rao Pasaman District of West Sumatra Province. This study armed to: Describe the characteristics of fish seed growers, measure bussines motivation level of fish seed and Analyze relationship between several characteristics of seed growers with business motivation of fish seed growers. The method used in this study was a survey method, a total of 12 respondents.Farmers characteristics include: age, education, income, number of dependents and bussiness experience. The level of overall motivation of fish was in medium category with a score of 1.246 means bussiness the motivation to do the business of fish farmers was still dependent on the circumstances and existing capabilities. To analyze the relationship between the characteristics and farmers motivation used the Spearman rank correlation coefficient. Results of this study declare relationship with the motivation that is related to age and not being significant, the relationship between motivation and dependents have weak and not significant relationship, the relationship between motivation and education have a very weak (nonsignificant), the experience of trying to have a weak link and not and income have a significant relationship was not significant and the motivation

    A research has been conducted on the study of the orientation of the criystalline poly silicon solar panel installation at the University of Riau area using a series - parallel circuit. The research was conducted from June 1 to June 14 2014 using solar panels of 4 types of poly silicon criystalline that were arranged in parallel using a series - parallel circuit. From the results of this study, the optimal time and angle of the poly crystalline silicon solar panel was at 09:00 pm at coordinates 00 0 .28.661' LU 101 0 .22.554' BT with elevation angle of 129.36 0 . The power generated was 34.2907 Watt. The power generated by the solar panels was influenced by the temperature, the higher the temperature was the smaller the power generated. Power output of solar panels was influenced by weather conditions. The power generated by the solar panels in sunny weather was greater than that was on a cloudy day. The average power for 14 days was 21,17862 Watt

    This study purpose to assess the level of financial distress companies from the calculation of the Altman Z - Score. Assessment procedures, financial distress in this study using the latest Z-Score formula that has been published by Altman on 1983 to calculate manufacturing companies that have Go Public. There are 7 variables as the basis for calculation is current assets, current liabilities, totals assets, totals liabilities, totals equity, EBIT, and retained earnings. This research is a descriptive study. The population in this study is Textile and Garment company listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2011-2014. The sample selection technique is a purposive sampling method and the research sample had six companies. The data used is the financial report audited from the Stock Exchange for companies of Textiles and Garments.These results indicate that the calculation of the Z - Score model is used as a measure of financial distress prediction in accordance with the classification determined by Altman. The prediction results stated that there are four companies is experiencing financial distress and two companies that have a healthy financial condition. Variables current liabilities, profits on hold, and total liabilities significantly affect the calculation of Z-Score and analysis of financial distress

    PERANCANGAN 5S UNTUK MEREDUKSI AKTIVITAS NON VALUE ADDED DALAM AKTIVITAS CHANGE OVER (STUDI KASUS PT. JANSSEN INDONESIA)

    Kekurangan komponen yang sering terjadi pada router section mengakibatkan peningkatan WIP pada assembling section.Dari FMEA diperoleh hasil bahwa section router yang menjadi constrain sistem. Hal ini dikarenakan banyak aktivitas searching dan transportasi berlebih dikarenakan kondisi tempat kerja dan peletakan peralatan tidak teratur dan berserakan. Akibatnya waktu change over menjadi lebih tinggi. Dengan jenis komponen yang banyak di section router, perlu tindakan perbaikan untuk meminimasi waktu change over. Penggunaan metode 5S untuk memperbaiki kondisi lingkungan kerja dan rancangan rak peralatan baru dapat mengeliminasi searching time. Hasilnya adalah aktivitas non value added pada change over komponen reguler berkurang 41% dan mengurangi waktu sebesar 41,6%. Pada pembuatan Item baru, aktivitas non value added berkurang 36,6% dan waktunya berkurang 53,3%.Makalah ini memaparkan rancangan 5S di router section PT Janssen Indonesia.
