    Analisis Nilai Penurunan dan Faktor Keamanan Pada Perbaikan Tanah Dasar Metode Deep Cement Mixing

    Konstruksi di Indonesia yang sering dijumpai berada di atas tanah lunak memiliki masalah yaitu penurunan. Kondisi tersebut mengharuskan dilakukannya perbaikan pada tanah lunak tersebut. Banyak metode perbaikan tanah lunak yang bisa dilakukan, salah satunya ialah metode deep cement mixing. Fungsi utama dari penggunaan perbaikan metode ini ialah mengurangi penurunan di bawah timbunan. Ada berbagai macam pola penggunaan deep cement mixing, namun pola yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini ialah pola persegi. Analisis ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan Program Elemen Hingga 2D. Pemodelan deep cement mixing dilakukan dengan berbagai jenis variasi jarak (1,5 m; 2,0 m dan 2,5 m) dan persentase campuran semen (2,5%; 5,0%; 7,5%; 10,0%; 12,5%; 15,0%) yang diberi beban timbunan batubara setinggi 18 meter yang diasumsikan berbentuk beban merata. Pemodelan menggunakan metode elemen hingga 2D tanpa menggunakan perbaikan deep cement mixing menghasilkan nilai penurunan sebesar 3,11 meter dengan waktu konsolidasi 8.787 hari. Hasil pemodelan yang telah dilakukan menggunakan program elemen hingga menunjukkan bahwa perbaikan deep cement mixing dapat mengurangi penurunan dari 17,04% hingga 97,41% serta waktu konsolidasi dari 2,64% hingga 89,64%. Variasi perbaikan deep cement mixing yang paling optimal berada pada variasi jarak 1,5 meter dengan persentase campuran semen 7,5% menghasilkan pengurangan nilai penurunan sebesar 96,90% yaitu 0,10 meter dengan waktu konsolidasi berkurang sebesar 88,82% selama 982 hari serta pada variasi perbaikan dengan jarak 2,0 meter dengan persentase campuran 12,5% menghasilkan pengurangan nilai penurunan sebesar 90,06% yaitu 0,31 meter dengan waktu konsolidasi berkurang 83,97% selama 1408 hari

    To achieve the level of service performance from PDAM Tirta Taman Kota Bontang, obtained based on user perceptions of PDAM Taman Tirta obtained from the results of a questionnaire with a Likert scale using the Importance Performance Analysis (IPA) method. From the IPA analysis results, interviews were conducted using the Strength, Weakness, Opportunities, Threats (SWOT) method. The results of the IPA analysis were used in quadrant I, namely service to the registration process (x11), the survey of prospective customer locations (x12), time of survey implementation (x13), Payment orders before installation (x15), Notice the length of the installation process (X15).     Penyakit white band disease dan white syndrome yang menyerang karang Acropora sp. di Pulau Gili Labak merupakan salah satu masalah yang perlu diperhatikan, sebab terjadinya kematian terumbu karang yang disebabkan oleh penyakit karang bukan hanya akan berpengaruh pada fungsi ekologis terumbu karang namun juga akan mempengaruhi fungsi ekonomis. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeteksi penyakit karang dengan metode histologi dengan studi kasus di Pulau Gili Labak, Poteran, Sumenep-Madura. Pengambilan sampel penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan April 2017 di perairan Pulau Gili Labak Kabupaten Sumenep. Penelitian deteksi penyakit pada jaringan karang dengan metode histologi dilakukan pada Laboratorium Histologi Fakultas Kedokteran Universitas Brawijaya Malang. Analisa data dilakukan dengan metode analisa deskriptif. Ditemukan jaringan karang Acropora sp. yang terserang penyakit white band disease dan white syndrome yang terjadi banyak perbedaan antara jaringan karang yang sehat dengan yang sakit. Umumnya pada jaringan karang yang sehat terlihat susunan sel pada jaringan karang terlihat masih baik dan utuh, sedangkan pada jaringan karang yang sakit menunjukan bahwa jaringan mengalami degradasi disebabkan oleh jaringan yang lisis dan nekrosis, jaringan sakit terlihat hilang dan mulai hancur. Penyakit white band disease dicirikan dengan adanya jaringan yang mengelupas dari skeleton karang, sedangkan penyakit white syndrome hilangnya jaringan dimulai pada epidermis terlebih dahulu lalu merambat kedalam skeletonnya

    The prevalence of osteoarthritis in Indonesia reached 15.5% in men and 12.7% in women. Osteoarthritis is a degenerative joint disease that is associated with damage to the articular cartilage. Obesity is excess body weight exceeds normal weight. Obesity is a risk factor for osteoarthritis of the knee due to the weight gain that resulted in the knee joint work harder. Some other factors that may cause osteoarthritis include age, gender, genetic, and work. This type of research, including analytical observational cross-sectional study approach. The number of samples examined 50 of 25 elderly obese and 25 non- obese elderly. The instruments used in the study include scale weight, height gauges and criteria for osteoarthritis of the knee joint by the American College of Rheumatology. The data obtained were analyzed using chi-square test with SPSS version 22 windows based. Based on the analysis of data using chi-square test showed p = 0.001 (p <0.005), which means that there is a relationship of obesity with the occurrence of knee osteoarthritis in the elderly in Surakarta Laweyan

    Long Distance Dual SpO2 Monitoring System for Premature Babies Using Bluetooth Communication

    Monitoring the baby's health status is very important, especially for babies born prematurely. Oxygen saturation levels in newborns are very important to know because when the oxygen saturation levels in newborns are low, it is necessary to watch out for hemodynamic abnormalities in the baby. Measurement of oxygen saturation levels in newborns can help detect congenital abnormalities in infants early. This study aims to design an equipment system to continuously monitor the condition of oxygen saturation in newborns. Where in this discussion a monitoring tool is used to monitor 2 premature babies in a baby incubator simultaneously using a Neonatal Fingertip sensor. The system will display the oxygen saturation (SpO2) value and signal. Monitoring on this tool is done wirelessly using the HC-05. Based on the results of tests and measurements in 5 different patients with a pulse oximeter comparison, the difference value of 1% in each patient's results was obtained. The results of this study will greatly help facilitate the work of paramedics in monitoring the vital conditions of newborn babies

    One of the marine commodities, Lobster (Panulirus&nbsp;spp.), has unabated demand in the global market, while, Lobster production remains static due to the difficulty of implementing its rearing activities. Relative rearing of lobster (Panulirus spp.) is usually performed using the floating net cage method with calm water conditions. In contrast, areas with extreme&nbsp;weather&nbsp;conditions tend to have difficulty applying this method. The potential of using the fixed cage method was assessed by rearing the Lobster at Pesona Bahari Banyuwangi Fish Cultivation Group. This research aimed to investigate the feasibility of the environmental conditions in the waters of GWD, Banyuwangi. The study was conducted for three months. Data such as temperature and light intensity through the help of a pendant was collected. Water quality parameters were recorded during this study, including salinity, pH, dissolved oxygen, and current velocity. Sampling was conducted four times to see the relationship between length and weight. The results showed that the GWD environmental parameters were very supportive for lobster rearing, with temperature values ​​ranging from 27.2oC - 30.1oC, DO around 4.6 mg/l - 5.2 mg/l, salinity 28o/oo - 30o/oo, pH 7 - 8.2, the current speed is 0.468 m/s, and the light intensity is 0 lux - 3,616 lux. The growth pattern of all sampling results except sampling 2 (isometric) has a negative allometric result, with length and weight having a solid relationship. The fixed cage method is considered suitable for lobster rearing activities because the environmental parameters follow their natural habitat and the Fulton condition factor (K) value of more than 1.
