Strategy of News Media Consumption: Perception of the Media by Russia's Residents
Media consumption studies differ because different researchers pay attention to specific characteristics of the media or consumption analysis. The problems of information noise, information hygiene, and the demand for certain genres have been observed, and there are statistics of certain media and content consumption which highlight the differences in groups by age and education. Within the framework of this article, the emphasis was placed on the practice of media consumption, taking into account the regularity of referring to the media. The value and importance of the informationβs impact for a specific consumer of content were also emphasized. 20 focus group discussions were held in the cities of the Ural Federal District of Russia. Six strategies of news media consumption were distinguished based on these focus group discussions, and an attempt was made to combine age and behavioral models of news media consumption. The following six strategies were identified: casual occurrence, concernment, absorption, rituality, conservatism, and expertise. Strategies of casual occurrence in the perception of information noise were obvious. However, strategies of expertise were identified when a consumer checks information using different channels, which includes referring not only to Russian but also to foreign information sources (a contemporary city dweller is included in the global media scene).

Media activity of TOP Russian universities in the Internet space: global positioning trends
The goal of the study is to evaluate global trends in the positioning of modern universities, their media activity in the Internet space. For the study, the top ten Russian universities included in the 2021 QS World University Rankings were selected. The main indicators of effective positioning of a modern university and its media activity in the Internet space are the university's presence in global and national rankings, availability of network programs and international accreditation of educational programs, an increase in the number of international students, MOOCs on Coursera and edX platforms, etc. As a result of the study, it was concluded that there is a direct and/or indirect relationship between the media activity of a modern university and the strengthening of the university's position in global and national rankings
Information openness of the municipal system of education: the experience of social audit
The aim of the investigation is to analyze information openness municipal education system, identify problems and develop practical recommendations in dealing with them.Β Methods. The conducted study is based on the methodology of the social audit, which includes the content analysis of the official websites of educational institutions in the network Β«InternetΒ», the diagnosis of awareness among parents about the schools activities, expert assessment of informational openness of schools and the development of practical recommendations for improving information schools transparency. Research methods involve: description, analysis of documents, questionnaires, expert interviews, analysis of statistical data.Β Results. The article presents the results of a social audit of information openness of the municipal General educational system of Pervouralsk city district. The analysis of the content of the official websites of educational organizations in the network Β«InternetΒ» was conducted at the first stage of social audit. It showed that only one school website fully complies with the proposed requirements. The best developed parameter of website is technological effectiveness; less developed β the communicativeness and multimedia. Diagnostics of awareness among parents of the pupils of the schools activities was conducted at the second stage of the social audit. A survey of parents has shown that the most popular are the traditional ways of obtaining information: teacher-parent meetings and communication with child. Less than half of parents receive information via the websites of the schools. Expert assessment of the information openness of schools was realized at the third stage. Practical recommendations on improvement of information openness of schools have been developed at the fourth stage.Β Scientific novelty. A new scientific idea of social audit of information openness municipal education system was set on the basis of the authorsβ research that enriches the scientific concept of social audit. Authors have developed a new diagnostic technique that will reveal the state of information openness of municipal education system; proved promising use of social auditing techniques in the practice of evaluation of information openness of the municipal education system.Β Practical significance. The implications of the research findings prove that the authors of the given paper have developed and tested the diagnostic methods of the social audit of information openness of the municipal education system. The research results demonstrate the prospects of the practical use of the theory of social audit in practice; and the practical recommendations for further improvement of information openness of the municipal education system. The results of the study can be used in the activities of the Department of education Pervouralsk city district and other municipalities, as well as heads of educational organizations can use the investigation data to improve information openness of the municipal education systemΒ Π¦Π΅Π»ΠΈ ΡΡΠ°ΡΡΠΈ β ΠΏΡΠΎΠ°Π½Π°Π»ΠΈΠ·ΠΈΡΠΎΠ²Π°ΡΡ ΠΈΠ½ΡΠΎΡΠΌΠ°ΡΠΈΠΎΠ½Π½ΡΡ ΠΎΡΠΊΡΡΡΠΎΡΡΡ ΠΌΡΠ½ΠΈΡΠΈΠΏΠ°Π»ΡΠ½ΠΎΠΉ ΡΠΈΡΡΠ΅ΠΌΡ ΠΎΠ±ΡΠ°Π·ΠΎΠ²Π°Π½ΠΈΡ, Π²ΡΡΠ²ΠΈΡΡ ΠΏΡΠΎΠ±Π»Π΅ΠΌΡ Π² ΡΡΠΎΠΉ ΠΎΠ±Π»Π°ΡΡΠΈ ΠΈ ΡΠ°Π·ΡΠ°Π±ΠΎΡΠ°ΡΡ ΠΏΡΠ°ΠΊΡΠΈΡΠ΅ΡΠΊΠΈΠ΅ ΡΠ΅ΠΊΠΎΠΌΠ΅Π½Π΄Π°ΡΠΈΠΈ ΠΏΠΎ ΠΈΡ

First-Person Video Modeling as a Way of Teaching Imitation of Children with Autism
The article discusses the problem of the basic factors of ASD: the deficit in the Theory of Mind (ToM) as the ability to represent Self-Other relationship, or violation of the ability to simulate, as the ability to transfer the perspective of Otherβs action into the prospect of their own actions. It is hypothesized that the first-person video surveillance technique (with the instructorβs and the student's hands visible) will be more effective in teaching imitation of children with ASD than the third-person video surveillance method (where the instructor and the student are seen). The study involved 28 children attending classes with psychologists and speech pathologists (ages: 4, 10 up to 7, 4 years; 24 children were diagnosed with ASD, 4 β atypical autism). At the first stage, the level of motor simulation skills (ABLLS-R test) was evaluated-3 times with an interval of 1 week. On the second stage, three groups (9 people) were equalized at the level of development of imitation. One group was trained "third-person", the second β "first-person", the third β control was trained according to the standard program. All studied the same time. For each subject conducted 4 classes (2 times a week). At the third stage, the level of motor skills measured 3 times with an interval of 1 week. The processing took into account the parameters of the mean, median, mode and standard deviation. The results of the study showed significant effectiveness of third-person training. The shift of the average value in "third-person training" and "first-person training" was 3 and 8 units respectively
Youth Practices of Reading as a Form of Life and the Digital World
The proliferation of digital technologies is precipitating a transformation in the socio-cultural fabric of human existence. The present study is dedicated to investigating the coexistence of various reading practices among contemporary youth in the modern era. The advent of new forms of reading has resulted in a shift from conventional paper-based reading to electronic formats, which, in turn, has transformed the practice of reading and the way of life associated with it. The methodological foundation of this research is the socio-philosophical theory that the practice of reading, rooted in the habitus of reading, is enacted by practitioners, and organized through public initiatives. The context of the reading practice system is a distinct historical system of circumstances in which practices are reproduced. This study encompasses an empirical component, focusing on the examination of reading practices among young individuals in a large modern city, specifically within the confines of Yekaterinburg (N = 200). The research was conducted between December 2021 and January 2022. This study permits an analysis of the constituent elements of the readerβs habitus model as a form of life. Β© 2023 by the authors
The Prevalence of the Ideas of Nationalism Among Young People (The Case of Young People of Yekaterinburg, Russia)
The ideas of nationalism in the practical discourse of the media and the speeches of politicians are often negative; the ideas of the superiority of some nationalities over others and the spread of conflicts are emphasized. From the point of view of scientific discourse, nationalism is perceived both as a negative and as a positive phenomenon for maintaining the stability and the fundamental strength of the state. The importance of studying the prevalence of the ideas of nationalism is associated with working with young people who often act as a βrisk group,β that is, those who, failing to understand the depth of the process, are prone to sympathize and even participate in nationalist events and organizations. To identify the prevalence of nationalist orientations, a sociological survey was conducted in the form of an enquiry (N = 638) among various categories of young people (students in schools, colleges, technical schools, and universities). It is shown that among the young people there is no adequate idea of nationalism, which is often disguised as patriotism. A university student can most adequately assess the existence of nationalist orientations in publications on social networks, in the media, in the speeches of political leaders, therefore, schoolchildren and students of secondary vocational education are most susceptible to the development and distribution of nationalist ideas. A special group β a risk group β includes students in a difficult financial situation.
